Birthday. A little slow on the service considering how quiet it was. Table of 5 people but all the bills were incorrect. Waiter was very kind and easy to talk to. Food was good as well.

Fun seating arrangements. Outstanding food and service. Steaks cooked perfectly. Shepherd's pie did not disappoint. Desserts were underwhelming.

Seems they are still working out the kinks in their service; i.e. they took our forks and plates after the appetizers and had to be reminded to give us new ones for the entrees. Food was delicious, a bit on the pricey side.

Went with a Tuango deal. Did not realize that the Tuango was for a special menu (Not the regular menu). Menus selection for the deal was limited and did not have a lot of choices. Unfortunatley it did not really showcase the restaurant menu. Food was ordinary. Service was OK. We got value because of the Tuango coupon. It would not have been worth it had we paid the full price.

It was fairly quiet when we were there, basically had the place to ourselves! Bottomless mimosas made it the perfect brunch spot!

We bought a Tuango deal
The service was poor considering the restaurant was practically empty
It was almost as though they didn’t care/ bother to attend to us bc we had the voucher

They mixed up our orders, didn’t cook the meat as requested, forgot our drinks, and just didn’t show any attention.

The food was NOT worth the said value and even with the discount I don’t think it was worth that amount

Overall pretty disappointed with everything- the one in the old port was miles above this one. Sadly that one is closed

Would i go back... sorry to say but no

The service was extremely long considering there we were two groups in the restaurant maybe a little understaff. The steak was good but the eggs in the benedicts were overcooked and the portion of the spaghetti was not very generous with only mushrooms in a "vegetable pasta" plate. We had a birthday party with mimosas and there weren't enough champagne bottles.

I went for a business meal with a client. The food was great, he had the bass and I had the fillet mignon. Staff allowed us to take our time ordering and eating so we had plenty of time to discuss business. Better yet, unlike many other restaurants, the acoustics allowed us to hear each other speak. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Great authentic Argentinian food, but not great value for money. Food was really good, but it didn’t make up for the slow service or over priced food. The fixed price menu bore no resemblance to the theme of the restaurant. We opted for a la carte, but paid the price. Given that the restaurant was almost empty, I couldn’t understand why the service was so bad. Guess there was more to do in the back than out with the diners.

We were there during Le Chop. We were informed it wasn't happening that night because of Valentine, but that was on Wednesday, but your restaurant was celebrating Valentine week. Anyhow you did honour it which was wonderful. The food was alright, nothing great. But
One thing, the restaurant is very dark, we had to use flashlights to read the menu.

My experience was alright....The food was good (not great) and quite pricey for what you were getting.
I went with two of my co-workers and we decided to order a bunch of different plates and share everything. The waitress was very nice and accomodating to our needs. The restaurant was also pretty quiet even for a Friday evening.
In general, the portions were small and the price super high. Some of the tapas ranged from 12-18$ but were so small we could only have a little bite. The hangar steak was quite good and was 22$ (but does not come with any sides so you would have to order fries-rice-etc as an extra). Desserts were average at best and tiny.

I understand the restaurant is on Crescent and that makes the prices higher....but it really makes it not worth it to go and check out this restaurant.

I went for a birthday dinner with 9 of my friends. Off the bat, I didn't feel welcome as I sat down and asked about the le chop menu. Maybe the waiter was having a bad day or didn't like his job, but I certainly was not the only one at the table who felt that way about the service, he was very curt throughout the dinner. There were items missing from the drink menu and le chop menu, and what was mentioned on the website menu (drink specials)was not consistent with prices in the menu. The food, although some dishes very tasty, was tepid in temperature. The side salad or garnish on the main dish was wilted and not appetizing.The fries tasted like old oil, and the panqueques was disappointing as it was with raw banana in a cold crepe. There was no crowd, so the ambiance with friends was cozy. The decor is very nice, too bad the service is feeling the hate. My dining experience falls just short of satisfactory. Hoping the restaurant takes heed and that future diners have truly better things to say. Looking forward!

Steak was not cooked well and took an hour to get.Waiter laughed at us when we didn't order a drink from the bar. NYE menu was simple $50 for a soup steak and dessert. Soup was good. Dessert was ok.

La qualité de la nourriture et la cuisine son très bons. Par contre, le restaurant était tellement froid que nous avons due manger avec notre manteau! Et ce, malgré les requêtes répétées au serveur d'augmenter le chauffage, ce qui n'a evidemment jamais été fait. Le service était acceptable, mais le serveur nous dictait ce que nous devion laisser comme pourboire, ce qui était assez "ordinaire", surtout qu'il recommandait 18%.
Il y avait trois items (plats principaux) qui n'étaient pas disponibles lors de notre commande, ce qui me laisse croire que le restaurant était en voie de fermeture définitive.

This was by far one of the worst meals we have ever had. I ordered the Mediterranean Sea bass. The fish was frozen and didn’t look like any sea bass I have ever had, the sauce was over salted, the rice was under cooked and the muscles tasted like they had gone bad. My boyfriend got the ribeye. The quality of meat was terrible and full of gristle. Both meals were inedible. We did not eat it, told the waitress and she still proceeded to charge us for the meals, which were extremely over priced to begin with. I complained to another waiter who eventually rectified it. Overall I would never recommend this restaurant and it’s a shame because it is in one of the most popular areas of the city.

Nous avons réservé à la dernière minute, l’endroit offre peu de stationnement, mais nous sommes sur Crescent! Très bon service un staff très accueillant et bien rodé. Belle carte de vin d’Argentine , avec quelques vins européens. On y vient pour la cuisine d’arentine, donc allez-up our les acouoe Argentine, les viandes sont succulentes, et les cuissons parfaites. Le souper suivait une rencontre d affaire avec des fournisseurs américains dont certains originaient du Texas, donc le bœuf ils apprécient. Ils n’avaient que des compliments pour le chef.

The ambiance was great and it's a very quiet which makes it very nice for a date. We were a bit disappointed about the salmon and the desserts. The steak was good, some vegetables served with it would have made the plate better.

Great ambiance. MTL a la table menu was great and quickly served. We both took lamb empanadas which were amazing, and chocolate flan, which was surprisingly good despite the fact that I am usually not a fan of that type of texture. For the main course, I took steak with potato salad. The steak was good but the potato salad was WOW. My partner took the salmon plate which neither of us would recommend. Overall, great date night!

High prices and want to be fancy atmosphere but by hiring untrained service staff they can't keep up the imagine thry would like to create for this restaurant and make sure that first time customers will never come back. I think the place was only relatively full because they had a special offer as part of MTL a table: 3 course meal for 31$ including an option to have a hanger steak as main dish.

We went to this restaurant with friends from Argentina and the food that was supposely representing their country was less than disapointing. The waiter did not bring the bread until the End of our meal, the mixed grill had only beef and sausage.The vegetarian milanesa was a brick of polenta with some sauce on top. Nothing had any taste. Cost was about 40$ pp (food only) and we left hungry.

Expérience horrible. Tout d'abord, nous avons été servi par une dame sans sourire, et peu aimable. Il n'était pas possible d'avoir accès à des breuvages et des tapas en spécial comme l'indiquait la pub sur leur site. Il faisait trop chaud mais il n'y avait rien à faire pour y remédier. Il faisait tellement sombre que nous avons du allumer nos lumières de cellulaire pour voir le menu. La serveuse se questionnait avec un autre serveur à qui allait les plats avant de nous les servir. Le comble de tout ça c'est qu'ils nous ont enlevé nos assiettes après peut-être 2 minutes prétextant qu'elles allaient pour une autre table!!!!! Le dessert n'était vraiment pas bon. Et j'en passe... ça nous a couté beaucoup trop chère pour ce qu'on a eu... alors avis aux intéressés, hâtez vous avant que ce resto ne ferme ses portes!!!!!

Service chaleureux et efficace, cuisine intéressante surtout pour les amateurs de bœuf (le filet mignon est top notch). Seul bémol fut le cocktail, cher à 12$ pour un bien petit margarita. Dommage aussi que le menu des tapas n'était pas si disponible, car c'était la raison pour laquelle nous avions choisi ce resto. Quand même très bien sur l'ensemble.

They charge $50 for an allegedly Argentinian 12 Oz rib eye.
I ordered it rare.
What I got after a terribly long wait was visibly less than 10 Oz and was medium well.
The compensation was a $6 dessert .

I also ordered an old fashioned, hard to discern what was in there besides water, even after it was allegedly "fixed" .

Not to mention service was terribly slow.

L'Atelier Argentine est un restaurant hoes du commun au centre de l'attraction à Montréal. Pour les gens qui ont des goûts plus fort, j'y recommande fortement.
