This place is fabulous. This was the third time I've been here, and my meal is always fantastic. This time I tried the pork loin. It was so delicious. The fried green tomatoes appetizer is tasty too, and the bread pudding is one of the best I've had. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here.

You must try Lasher's Kitchen! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich for brunch, and it was to die for! Mrs. Lasher was our server, and she was outstanding! So nice and helpful. We had a very reasonably priced wine flight that was paired excellently with my entree. I am from out-of-town and had eaten here before. It was on my "must do" list to return. Highly recommend!

Small but lovely, with truly tasty food. For breakfast I had the St. Patrick's Day hash and eggs, and my husband had the pancakes and eggs. Plenty of food, and the coffee kept coming.

We've been wanting to visit the newest iteration of the great Lasher's, since it moved from Broadway. Not disappointed! The food, service and conversation with the owner all made the occasion great. The only disappointment: that more people aren't aware that this is a gem on 2nd Street!

Great place for an intimate dinner, the food was outstanding, we tried the prix fixed menu as well as other menu items. The restaurant is small so be prepared to get to know your neighbors, but I throughly enjoyed my dining experience. On this particular Friday, there was entertainment which was enjoyable

I wanted to love this place, the service was extremely slow but they did a fair job of giving us water. We ordered before the table next to us was seated yet they were out the door with dessert before we had our meal! The $30 shrimp scampi was the size of an appetizer. Maybe they had other things on their mind since we went on the last day of Dine LB. There are too many great places around to give them a second chance.

Very busy tonight so we sat at the wine bar. What a great experience! We felt like part of the crew, except when we chose to dine alone. The staff was extremely accommodating and very respectful that we were on a “date”, while including us when we encouraged it.

The food, oh yeah, we were here for the food, which was usually delicious! The shared wedge was nice with the highlight being the Swordfish with Truffle butter over a pearl pasta, which was excellent.

We finished up with a lemon curd desert, which was a great finish to a wonderful evening. Thank you Chef Mary👍

We have never attempted to eat out on Valentines Day because of the crowds and difficulty in getting reservations. But Ray and Lynn run such a quaint and efficient small restaurant that we decided to take a chance. As always, just like Lashers on Broadway was back 6-8 years ago, the food selections and parings for this event were absolutely terrific, which made our evening extra special.

We had wonderful food AND service. The vegan risotto was delicious as were the rest of our meals.
Thursday night prime rib was excellent! Possibly the best my husband has ever had! Even the salad and dressing were notable. All the desserts were yummy... This is a nice place to take friends or for a business
lunch or celebrate a special occasion.

We went there for Thanksgiving dinner. At mid afternoon, it was less than half full. We dined inside as the outdoor sidewalk seating is subject to a lot of Second Street traffic noise. Service was excellent, very attentive. The Thanksgiving special dinner at $44.00 was average but a lot less work than dinner at home, which is why are we went out in the first place.

The food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. The only complaint I have is that the fried green tomatoes should have been called fried green tomato as there were only four small slices. Haha. But that is the only thing that I can find fault with and that is minor at best.

Lack luster inattentive service
Owner / manager was present and never greeted tables
Service - there was not any
Food Dey, overcooked, boring
If you go for brunch expect to wait minimum 35 min for food if the restaurant is empty. I can’t wven imagine how long it will take if they have customers.
There was never any server contact about the did with our table until we were done and it was too late to say how bad it was.

Sorry - We were really disappointed with our brunch. Especially sorry since we used to go to Lashers Restaurant before it closed and loved it. It took way too long to get our breakfast once we ordered. It really shouldn't take over 20 minutes to scramble eggs. The waitress who served us was very good - brought coffee quickly and the holdup was clearly the kitchen. The scramble had very fresh vegetables but really didn't have any interesting seasoning. The potatoes that went with the eggs were not hot and they were greasy... My husband's fried green tomato and eggs were better; he enjoyed them. The prices would have led us to believe we would have a better experience.

Lasher's Kitchen has become my favorite restaurant in Long Beach. This is the second time this month that I've been here, and the food is fabulous. I ordered the beef tenderloin, and it was perfectly cooked. My friend had the cioppino, and she loved it. We also shared the brie appetizer and bread pudding for dessert. Both were delicious.
