Food and service were excellent. Price was great. We went on Wednesday with free corkage and $10 off wine bottles.
Great service. Excellent food.
Food was pretty good; service was slow but we didn’t mind as we weren’t in a rush. Staff was kind. Red wine was far too warm. F
This is a teeny tiny neighborhood restaurant in Belmont Shores. The night we went there was a dining stroll going on in the neighborhood, so we were one of very few customers in the restaurant, although their outside offering was quite popular. My husband and I both ordered Cranberry-glazed Meatloaf, even though we don't eat much meatloaf. It was really, really, really good. The mashed potatoes were outstanding also. I am looking forward to going back to try another entree. The menu is fairly small (in proportion to the restaurant), but if all the entrees are as good as the meatloaf, we will be making frequent visits.
The whole experience was good. The room was very pleasant, the food very good and very good service. We came up for Sunday brunch. I would return and would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Love the food and hospitality. You feel like one of the family.
The room was pleasant but the food and service was disappointing in several respects, especially given the brunch price of $49.
Good food with good service. Everything we tried was great but the service was slow. We were there an hour before our orders were taken.
Yucca fries were a great appetizer. My Eggs Benedict was really delicious. Loved the hollandaise sauce! I substituted the Canadian Bacon with regular bacon. Coffee is amazing. I wanted more but refills were not coming fast enough lol.
Perfect spot for a group outing.
Had a great dinner on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent. Had fried green tomatoes to start, along with scallops. Perfect bite each for four people. Entrees were great. Loved the portion...just right. Three people had a fish offering, one person had pork loin. All were happy. The wine flights are a fun option. Only noise came from 2nd Street...can be noisy.
Great fresh food! Love the patio section
Went for Easter Brunch. Pre set menu, but lucked out that the cranberry meatloaf was included. Rest of group were very happy with their selections as well. Always a great meal and owners were on floor helping and greeting each guest, always great to see.
Maddy was our server & she was very attentive, knowledgeable & very friendly :)
Thank for your consideration re our Travelzoo voucher. Excellent food and service, just a bit too noisy for comfortable conversation
Lashers is a unique dining experience combining quality and friendly service with a proprietor who will come to your table, greet you and make sure he remembers your name. The tradition of great restaurateurs Lashers is a welcome experience in the age of other restaurants who lack that Personal Touch
Outstanding little restaurant hidden away among many others on Long Beach. This place is a gem. Met friends from LA here. It was a sleepy Sunday evening. Food, owner and service could not have been better.
Great Service. Great food. Healthy comfort food with a twist that equals gourmet dishes. Also available are vegetarian and vegan dishes. This has become one of my husband's and my favorite places on 2nd street.
It is intimate, doesn’t seat a lot of people. Very nicely decorated and the food was excellent!!
Always a great night when we can share it at Lasher's
This place is fabulous. This was the third time I've been here, and my meal is always fantastic. This time I tried the pork loin. It was so delicious. The fried green tomatoes appetizer is tasty too, and the bread pudding is one of the best I've had. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here.
You must try Lasher's Kitchen! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich for brunch, and it was to die for! Mrs. Lasher was our server, and she was outstanding! So nice and helpful. We had a very reasonably priced wine flight that was paired excellently with my entree. I am from out-of-town and had eaten here before. It was on my "must do" list to return. Highly recommend!
Ending our divorce Brunch. Big day for us.
Small but lovely, with truly tasty food. For breakfast I had the St. Patrick's Day hash and eggs, and my husband had the pancakes and eggs. Plenty of food, and the coffee kept coming.
We've been wanting to visit the newest iteration of the great Lasher's, since it moved from Broadway. Not disappointed! The food, service and conversation with the owner all made the occasion great. The only disappointment: that more people aren't aware that this is a gem on 2nd Street!
Fun brunch with old friends.
Susan our server was super, interesting food choices.
Great place for an intimate dinner, the food was outstanding, we tried the prix fixed menu as well as other menu items. The restaurant is small so be prepared to get to know your neighbors, but I throughly enjoyed my dining experience. On this particular Friday, there was entertainment which was enjoyable
I wanted to love this place, the service was extremely slow but they did a fair job of giving us water. We ordered before the table next to us was seated yet they were out the door with dessert before we had our meal! The $30 shrimp scampi was the size of an appetizer. Maybe they had other things on their mind since we went on the last day of Dine LB. There are too many great places around to give them a second chance.
Went for Dine Out Long Beach (and my birthday). Great menu and loved all our choices. Excellent service.
Chef Roq is amazing and everything she touches turns to food for the Gods. Love her and Lasher’s Kitchen!
Very busy tonight so we sat at the wine bar. What a great experience! We felt like part of the crew, except when we chose to dine alone. The staff was extremely accommodating and very respectful that we were on a “date”, while including us when we encouraged it.
The food, oh yeah, we were here for the food, which was usually delicious! The shared wedge was nice with the highlight being the Swordfish with Truffle butter over a pearl pasta, which was excellent.
We finished up with a lemon curd desert, which was a great finish to a wonderful evening. Thank you Chef Mary👍
We have never attempted to eat out on Valentines Day because of the crowds and difficulty in getting reservations. But Ray and Lynn run such a quaint and efficient small restaurant that we decided to take a chance. As always, just like Lashers on Broadway was back 6-8 years ago, the food selections and parings for this event were absolutely terrific, which made our evening extra special.
We love you guys. Great job. Food and service outstanding. Very comfortable. Thanks for the outstanding menu!
Great meal for Valentine's Day! Ray and Lynn are warm and gracious hosts serving up a great menu with wine pairings. One of my favorite places to go!
Valentines dinner but the restaurant was a bit loud
Excellent food! Excellent Service! One of the best beef tenderloins I have had in a very long time. Cooked to perfection!
One of our favorite restaurants in Belmont Shore. The Lasher's kill it w/great food, service, great chef, and staff that go above and beyond. Kudos to all.
Ross & Sandy Riddle
Wonderful neighborhood eatery! Great tasting food and fabulous service! Lynne the owner served us, she was spectacular! We’ll be back
We had wonderful food AND service. The vegan risotto was delicious as were the rest of our meals.
Thursday night prime rib was excellent! Possibly the best my husband has ever had! Even the salad and dressing were notable. All the desserts were yummy... This is a nice place to take friends or for a business
lunch or celebrate a special occasion.
Went there with a good friend for lunch on a Sunday and it was fantastic. Service was very good. The food was terrific. The white wine flight we tried was excellent.
Really enjoyed being at Lasher's. Will do it again. The great part is I keep bringing different people to Lasher's because I love it so much!
Outstanding Cioppino!! Lynne our server was very attentive & accommodation.
