Really enjoyable evening for our first visit to the venue. From walking through the door we were welcomed warmly and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The food, drinks and service were exceptional but the overall ambience of the restaurant is what stands out. Thank you for a wonderful evening can’t wait to return.

Quick note - it's "OK"... based on the one night/meal we had, the food was not definitely worth the £105 spent for two starters/mains and a drink but others may have alternative experiences with different dishes. At the moment better to spend £105 elsewhere on higher quality, better presented food, think Star at Sancton or Hope and Anchor.

Cane last night as 2 ladies. Gorgeous surroundings. Had 2 mocktails, beautifully presented. Food hot , timed perfectly between courses. Tasty and good portion size Staff attentive and friendly.

Enjoyed our anniversary meal, service was spot on, and the food was lovely, my reason for dropping a star , I ordered crispy belly pork as my main, and while it was cooked lovely, it was not crispy at all, but all soft and covered in gravy. I still ate it, as it was very tasty. But next time I will ask for it to be served crispy as stated in the menu. Apart from that it was really good and I would return

What an excellent place for Brigg, finally a nice restaurant in the town that could fit in well in York or Leeds. Very nice place to spend the evening, excellent friendly staff, great food, and even better, they are amazing for people with food allergies and have great gluten free options. I hope it stays open, it's a gem.

Lovely restaurant, nice food. However service could have been better, could ha e done with extra staff and maybe one over the age of 20. food was nice as usual but had to wait 30 mins to pay the bill and ordered Irish coffee but coffee must ha e run out as it was like water however these were then deducted from the bill.

Lovely vibe inside, staff were all loverly and helpful! A little sad the menu had changed in a few months since I last went to were my lasagna didn’t come with salad like last time it was extra. We had starts main and desert, starts and mains was lovely. The brownie was to rich with the amount of chocolate sauce the slap you get is massive more like a share pudding.

First time dining. Beautiful restaurant, food was delightful and waitresses were informative, courteous and helpful. Despite their youth the girls serving were really lovely and made the experience even better. A credit to the team. We will be back
