   The restaurant offered a relaxed friendly atmosphere ready to service its guests. Seating was well space and offered a variety of table size options which permitted small intimate seating to large groups. Menu offered a nice variety of starters, soups/salads, and main entries at a reasonable price. We had a medium sized group and shared a Caesar salad, calamari, arancini, and meatballs to start which were excellent. Entries ranged from chicken piccata to gnocchi to pizza. They do bring out the main courses when done so it did take about 5 minutes for everyone to be served. No complaints from our group because they were piping hot and delicious. Lastly, the restaurant celebrated friends and family gathering together and sharing a meal. Never once did we feel rushed and were welcomed to stay post close while they prepared for the next day because we hadn’t seen each other in over 25 years. This is a GEM in the Villanova area and one we will continue to frequent. You will not be disappointed.

   We ate outside which was very nice. Staff was great and friendly. Our waiter Shane was very attentive and great with recommendations. Food was amazing would definitely recommend and we will be back!

   It was great food and a great atmosphere. Our waitress was also full of personality and good at her job. She brought a lot of life to the night.

   I took a group of college students to dinner, who enjoyed the dinner a bit more than I did. Food was very good - I had a pizza that was well executed and good. Others in the group had pizza and pasta dishes that they also enjoyed, no complaints. Service was okay - took a few minutes for first contact but things moved smoothly after that. I don't care for the "open kitchen" concept of bringing out food as prepared rather than for the entire table. As in previous visits, the noise level in the restaurant is deafening. My younger companions had no issues, but as a more senior person I had an extremely difficult time hearing and participating in conversations. To summarize - good food, reasonable prices, painfully noisy.

   It was very noisy (loud music) indoors, but we ate outside, which was lovely. Service was attentive. The salads with shrimp and tuna, respectively, were amply and carefully prepared. Properly cut ingredients, perfect amount of dressing. It was a lovely lunch.

   Always the best experience at LS at Villanova. Luke was an excellent server and sitting outside tonight was great.

   We love LaScala’s and have had good experiences. I want to be clear, the waitress was great, but the kitchen was not. It did not seem real busy, but our appetizers came out at different times, and we waited before placed our main courses. Close to 30 minutes from ordering apps. Some of the apps came out after our main course was delivered. And when the main course came it was staggered two of us got our main dish and the other two came about 15 minutes later. The waiter did take one app off our bill, but overall experience was not up to par and what we have liked about lascalas

    Nice place...good service....above avg prices...$17 for long hots...avg food...nothing stood out... pretty generic for price
