We love the renovations! More modern and uplifting.
Service is average or slightly better. Some waiters seem to be “troubled” when there is an issue re part of the meal.
I really think the busboys need training. On more than one occasion, they have attempted to clear the dishes before we were done (we still wanted the food on the plate) not even asking if we were done, and just the other night, physically knocked into my husband to clear the table as we were trying to leave.
I had a passionfruit martini and the vegetarian pizza.
Ended with Triple chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Shared the dessert with my dinner companion.
In addition to the calm atmosphere, the food was excellent!
Our server Sergio was very attentive and made our visit so warm and welcoming!
Four coworkers that have not been out to lunch in a year enjoyed salads at one of our favorite restaurants. We all loved our lunch, host and waitstaff were welcoming and attentive.
Excellent food and lovely atmosphere. Good value for the money as well
We had friends visiting, so we chose La Scala because we’ve always liked their food. This was our first visit since the reopening. It’s bright and airy, and the food and service are as fantastic as ever.
Easy parking next
Door. Food was very good. Price was good as well.
Excellent food. Wonderful people. Love the ownership. Philly tradition.
Food was very good, well presented, very good quality, tasty, yummy. service can and have to improve.
I shall return !!
Food was perfect, service good. Easy parking, good location, clean dining room.
Food was great. Our waiter was very attentive. Will definitely be back!
Everything was fine except my entree came with my husband s appetizer
It was corrected without losing its quality
Most of the wines I liked were served by the bottle
My wine was fair
All in all it’s a place to go back to
For what we ordered the service was slow
Very modern decor which I don’t usual like but I did like LaScala. Service was excellent, food delicious and prices reasonable!
Excellent service and attention by our server made the evening comfortable. La Scala's Fire food is good, but, for us, the portions were too large. I'll dine here again.
The service was great, and the food was good. I would totally recommend it to anyone!
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Atomosphere was fun. Restaurant (includin bathrooms) was very clean and constructed to be "socially distance" safe.
I and several friends have been eating lunch monthly at LaScala's (and now LaScala's Fire) for years. Food is always good and consistent, prices are reasonable, staff is personable and efficient.
Husband and I really enjoyed our meal. Burrata board was delicious and paired well with the Chianti. Meal portions are meant for sharing, which we also loved. Had the Zeppole for dessert, which was worth every bit of the extra calories they may have contained.
Me and my wife have been dining here for 15 years. Never had a bad meal and the service is always excellent.
Went for the Restaurant Week and the food was just ok. Wasn’t overly tasty. I saw a review about the calamari being good but it wasn’t cooked fully and the Chicken Marsala needed more seasoning. My girlfriend liked the Rigatoni Vodka but the mussels were almost half empty when they arrived. The desserts were definitely the best part of the night. I probably won’t be back but it’s worth a shot.
I loved my entree (rigatoni vodka), my fiancé thought his was bland (pasta with peas). Dessert was amazing! The service was slow but we weren’t in a rush so that’s ok! Otherwise, I would go again. The complimentary garage parking was also a huge bonus
I felt like we were eating at an all night diner. Otherwise everything was good.
It was amazing!
Food was delicious!!!
My children took me here for dinner and it was absolutely fabulous! The ambiance was very relaxing, roomy and quiet. The menu was perfect it had all of my appetizer and seafood favorites. The calamari melted in my mouth, the LaScala fries were hot, spicy with just the right amount of seasoning but a little lite on the crabmeat. My Mediterranean salad was delicious I added the tuna and it was moist flavorful and cooked to perfection. The cosmopolitan packed a punch and the sundae for dessert was enough for three. The service was slow but due to Covid I’m not going to complain about working people who are doing their best in these trying time! My server was very attentive but it did take quite some time for the food to arrive. I highly recommend this for any occasion!
This place has a good atmosphere. It’s clean, and the food was great. The salad was fresh and the entrees were good size portions.
Everything was good including the service, how fast the food arrived, etc., except the pizza. The pizza was very soggy on the bottom however the flavors were there.
Went during restaurant week and got their 3 course special. Salad appetizers were terrific. The Caesar was to die for. The veal Sam Remo was also terrific. The Italian pasta and peas entree was just ok. Way too spicy for us to finish though. Tiramisu was terrific for dessert although the bread in the bread pudding was burnt and inedible. Overall, I’d eat there again base on the Caesar and veal alone. The real downfall though was the service. They seemed extremely short staffed. It took forever to get drinks and refills required you to track someone down as they never came back to check on you. After 25 minute of waiting, we had to get up to find someone to give us the bill. Maybe they are still in the post pandemic staffing shortage. Too bad, it’s a nice place.
Very good food and loved the TV’s!!!
I had the Tortellini. It was great!
We had an excellent experience. The sauce on the mussels was fantastic. You should bottle it. Phil did a great job.
Got a last minute reservation on Mother’s Day & it was excellent !
Celebrating my partner’s birthday
Mother’s Day dinner. As always the food and service were excellent.
It was okay. Food was food but service could’ve e
I had a great experience at LaScala's. Amazing food and great service. I would highly recommend
The pizza was excellent. The salads that we had were all good. Service was very poor, had to wait a long time for the server and the place was not too busy.
