Las Brisas Casual Bistro
Service was good. Food was good. Music playing was anoying and too loud. Menu was limited.
Worse experience I've had in Lubbock in 60 years. So sorry, but not exaggerating at all. French onion soup was like chili and the 3 beef bolognese was cold and was like hamburger helper. The only seafood you had was shrimp, per the waiter. Why do you call yourself a seafood restaurant? I was so upset about taking my wife there for our 34th anniversary. I loved your other Location but probably wouldn't go back there either because I hate supporting such unprofessional business here I'm Lubbock.
Their main steakhouse is MUCH better.
The food was over cooked and the service was terrible. They are way overpriced for the food and service they offer. Go to their other steakhouse. It is so much better.
Boston, the bartender, did his job well. Enabled us to have a beautiful date night. Every drink was served up superbly, and the food he suggested we order was spot on. The steaks here are unbeatable. We drive all the way from Midland just to enjoy the food and atmosphere here. We are never disappointed from the quality of service all the way down to the rolled flatware. Everything is super enjoyable.
We had a very friendly and efficient server. The group wanted casual so we were seated in the bar. Moderately crowded, the noise level was reasonable for the setting. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, but the pasta sauce was a bland.
Worst experience ever. No head chef. Waiter was not real smart and his memory was bad and his excuses sounded like a kid in high school.
My green salad was good. Glad I ate it all because the rolls were a disaster when finally brought to table. My blackened salmon was terribly over cooked...not edible. My guest ordered prime open faced something that appeared like slop on a plate. No presentation!
Ambiance and cloth dining was only redeeming factor.
The menu?! OMG.....looks like they mixed a whataburger menu with a cafe menu . Who offers a shrimp cocktail with champagne for $395 ....then a $12 burger?
Server was good, but appetizers where cold and took forever to come out. Drinks made not so well, twice had to return them. Went somewhere else for dinner because of how the appetizers where. Inside was very nice though.
Our server was good, ambiance good, food below average and for the food we received too expensive
We hate the changes they made to the menu and our service was horrible!!! We were lucky enough to get the leftover surf and turf before they changed the menu but won’t be back as our favorites have been removed from the menu.
This was our first time and we had a fantastic experience! We had shrimp tacos and tuna sashimi as appetizers...great start to our meal. The scallops were perfectly cooked for my main course and the fried seafood platters were gigantic...we especially enjoyed the fried shrimp. Service was perfect. We will definitely return! Definitely recommend the butter cake for dessert!
second time ive been there when you were out of scallops.
Both dishes were almost inedible. The crab stuffed sole was so overcooked that it had a quarter inch of star on the bottom. The Citrus salmon was rubbery crisp. The worst Seafood I've ever eaten.
First off, let me say that Bobby provided fantastic service! He was attentive, but not overbearing; he made good suggestions on the menu. The food was very high quality, and delicious. We definitely will be back to work our way through the entire menu :)
The steaks that me and my wife ordered tasted just like chop steak. We ordered a ribeye and a filet, and honestly Texas Roadhouse makes a better steak.
Great venue Kendall. The food was very good !!
Went here for our Fifth Anniversary and it was fantastic. The service was exceptional. Our waiter took excellent care of us and got us a complimentary dessert with Happy Fifth Anniversary written on it. The food was delectable and just the right portion. The atmosphere was likewise phenomenal. A perfect setting for this special occasion.
We loved everything about our experience at Brisas Seafood. We ordered the lobster guacamole, steak, and sea bass and all were delicious. They've paired their entrée and side options together very well. Our server was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We look forward to visiting again.
We went to Brisas to celebrate graduation from Medical School. We enjoyed drinks (Lemon Drop, Margarita) with appetizers (pork potstickers, white wine braised mussels). Then a second round of drinks with dinner (steak with shrimp) and dessert (peanut butter pie, butter cake). The waiter scripted one of the plates with a fun message of congratulations. Coffee followed. Everything about our evening was perfect. The food and service were exceptional.
I had my graduation dinner at Brisas Seafood & Lounge and it was an amazing experience. Service was amazing and they have wide variety of cocktails. Would come back again.
Amazing food and amazing service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Perfect spot for a date night!
An amazing find here in Lubbock! From the “shrimp” cocktail (more like PRAWNS), to the entree special - 8oz Filet topped with a Lobster tail, a WELCOME respite from another meal at a chain restaurant. Have already made reservations for tomorrow night!
Had the pan seared scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The wine list is extensive and had a great selection of wine by the glass. Would have liked to have seen a Mersault Chardonnay on the bottle list.
Brady was our server. He was knowledgeable and attentive. We had started our salads when some friends walked in. The staff was very accommodating, moved them to our table, and managed to time it so all meals were served together. The lobster bisque was great. We were celebrating our anniversary and received a complimentary dessert. We had a lovely evening!
First time in Lubbock, will definitely go back to this place great wine great food great service
We met some friends there for dinner before the basketball game. The drinks were great, but the food was over the top amazing. Cat waited on us and did a great job. It's kinda pricey, but a great place to go.
The food was fine, but the service was absolutely terrible. On a humorous note, the Christmas music in April was an interesting touch.
Steaks were fantastic; seafood was a little over cooked. Service & ambience were excellent, with great selection of drinks.
Had a great time with my Date for date night. Food was good and service was great!
Food excellent; service phenomenal; classy setting; knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended and will return.
Had a great time but the waiters are not quite that attentive.
We had an enjoyable night for Fat Tuesday. The restaurant was full which made for a fun atmosphere. The service was slow but understandable due to the large crowd. The managers had some issues dealing with their merchant service for credit card payments but they handled it gracefully.
Food was mediocre, service was good. Way too expensive. Most of the seafood was very fishy. Not fresh.
This was our first time to eat at Brisas Seafood. We loved it and will go again soon.
The food was great! It did take a really long time to get our entrees to us. We wait for an hour in between the appetizers and entrees. But service and food was great. Server was very apologetic.
It was good, prefer the other location. las Brisas
it was real good
Food was excellent and waitress was great, only complaint was that we waited over 2 hours to get our food from the kitchen.
Very nice. Great food!
Love the atmospheres, the service is exceptional, and the food is superb!
