Legit food and service. They care about you having a great experience. Let them know it was our anniversary in the notes and they gave us a couple glasses of sparkling wine and another manager came by to say hello.
Octopus was good
This is one of my favorite restaurants
The food is o
As always, an amazing meal with great wine in a very cool spot. Will be coming back many more times
Great food and atmosphere as always. I would like to see more frequent menu changes. It's seems it's been the same for a very long time (but still consistently good).
Loved it the moment we walked in - the look of the restaurant, the level and manner and warmth of service. The quality of the food and taste. Here is a hot restaurant that’s impossible to get into and still treats everyone that walks in like a VIP. We just had the exact opposite experience at I sodi - and I would never ever return.
The perfect dining experience.
I tend to go here for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries). Everything on the menu is amazing. Beautifully cooked and prepared, plating is great.
Order something from every column on the menu and share!
Second time dining here and must admit I'm a tad disappointed. Better than a lot of restaurants but not worth the hype. Everything was excellent but something is missing.
Really phenomenal service. Made a great meal special.
Impresses every time. Absolute gem of restaurant.
Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding. Amazing, unforgettable food, perfect service and reasonable prices. This place is a gastronomical miracle.
I frequent l’Artusi for dinner, but this was my first brunch experience. The menu was small but there were a lot of great options. The chicory salad and l’Artusi scramble were really good, but their potatoes were out of this world. The service was a little scattered, but otherwise it was a great meal.
Phenomenal. The pastas were amazing!
amazing food. amazing place. will come back again. everthing is good.
Comida normal, servicio muy malo! Pedimos dos entradas y dos platos. Entre cada plato tardaron 40 minutos, ya llevabamos 2 horas sentados cuando decidimos cancelar el ultimo plato e irnos.
Such an overrated restaurant. The service is spot on but the food is nothing spectacular compared to other high end Italian restaurants in NYC like Faro. It's really just made a name for itself because it's in the West Village. Good dinner spot but not worthy of the hype.
Great meal - cheese course, pasta and entrees. Service was very friendly - both at check-in and wait staff. Only drawback was the power outage which shut off air conditioning for a while, but that wasn’t their fault.
Surely one of the best restaurants in New York on the strength of the pastas alone. Our waiter was a bit distracted (didn't give a s-- about our table...) but in general the service is excellent and many staff members served our lowly table of two out for a casual all-pasta dinner, and they were all great. There are often people celebrating birthdays or other occasions here so it can get a bit loud, but the ambiance is generally fun rather than obnoxious. Every single thing we've eaten here is delicious. Prices high but not crazily so for the level of restaurant and the neighborhood. It pains me to give it a glowing review since it'll probably make getting a table here even harder, but this place deserves every bit of its success.
L’artusi is by far and away one of the best restaurants in New York City. The service, food and ambiance are top notch. I’ve been here 3 times and have not been disappointed once.
Loved everything we ordered from pasta dishes to the pork chop. The service was excellent and we saw sever parties (small and big) celebrating their special occasions. We were on our date night and really loved everything about the place. Will definitely be back!
Third time here- will definitely return. Uniformly very good but food saltier across the board.
Amazing as always! Our latest obsession is the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae.
The best roasted mushroom and olive oil cake I have ever had! Really great location and everything is delicious
Brunch was absolutely delicious. Pancetta pasta and ricotta-filled buttery crepes were melt-in-the-mouth. Peach pastry served with berry jam was tender and flaky. Tables are close together but the food makes up for it. Highly recommend.
I came here with a friend. We had reservations at 6, and the restaurant was already packed.
We were seated promptly, and a waitress came to explain the specials to us.
We opted to share a gouda cheese plate. It was pretty good, but the cheese wasn't the easiest to cut with a butter knife.
The servers were attentive and very friendly.
I got the octopus, and I thought it was great. The octopus has a nice citrus taste. The dish came with crispy potatoes and these firm olives. Everything was well seasoned and prepared.
For dessert, they brought us a complimentary slice of olive oil cake as it was my friend's birthday. It was very nice, and came with a sweet creme fraiche.
I would definitely come again.
Awesone! I loved it.
Booked this for our anniversary on the great rec I received from a friend. Sorry to say it fell very short of expectations. We were seated upstairs on top of 2 tables; a space to hold 4 tables comfortably, held 8. The noise level was deafening, we could not have a conversation without yelling over everyone else.
As far as the food went, my salad consisted of an entire head of bibb lettuce with some grated cheese and nuts thrown on. My branzino was unseasoned and very bland. I asked server for salt and olive oil but it didn't do much to enhance the taste. On leaving both tables on either side of us had to get up so we could get out. They pack you in like sardines. Sorry but our first experience was underwhelming and I won't be returning. Really don't understand all the hype.
Really loved LArtusi having visited now twice. The food is amazing and the ambiance and service is formal but friendly. Will be coming back a lot more if possible!
Another fun delicious night at L'Artusi. Seems that a lot of tables were celebrating something which added to the festive atmosphere tonight. Had the pasta dish with morels, was excellent, as was the new version of the beet salad. Highly recommend.
Service was absolutely outstanding. We had a tough group and the servers handled it extremely well. Bravo!
Problem with guest etiquette:
We got there at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation, and the hostess wouldn’t seat us until exactly 5:30 with all tables (at that time) open.
When a restaurant has a cuisine as great as L’Artusi the servers and hosts/hostesses should probably be humble not demeaning despite the huge demand. Just a suggestion for management.
Incredible food and outstanding service.
Great and unique dishes!
Great dinner as always
Excellent food and service. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Delicious food. Great waitstaff.
Loved the staff and the food was fantastic. Will definitely be returning for more dining and special occasions.
Everything is delicious. Reservations are hard to make, but it's worth the effort.
Everything was superb except the waiter was not nice.
