All service staff very professional and food was fantastic
French onion soup is to die for. Main courses were superb.
Great service and food
The seating host was awkward but nice. Friendly server and expediter. Food was good, however $38 for lunch for a brisket sandwich and turkey club sandwich is a lot. Lovely decor.
The food & service was disappointing. Must have been an off day. Usually it's better.
We came in Friday 01/26/2018 6:00-6:30 for dinner, drinks and to unwind after the work week.
The place was busy with birthdays, business meeting and more. We sat at the bar to start as we were early for our 7:00pm reservation. The bartender was on her game. She was mixing for the entire place. Drinks were spot on, attention to detail was awesome and her personality was perfect. After having a great conversation with a great couple from BC, We move from the bar to our high booth table. (Favorite )spot for people watching and relaxing. Starter salads and dinner came promptly as we ordered them. No rush, just lingering here as we like to call it. :-))) our waitress the bartender was again spot on with the help of her staff supporting her all the way. Great team work to say the least. Always our GoTo for relaxing, great drinks and food. *Order the Southern Fried Chicken*. Oh Baby is it delicious.
See you soon Larks Medford
Great service and good food. The fried chicken was tasty, but too much crusty dough in my opinion. My husband's fish was very good. The waitress was very professional and friendly.
Lunch is a great value at Larks! Same very high quality food, service as at dinner, at a lunch price. An island of calm in the middle of the day.
Never a disappointment at Larks. Noise level was not a problem, thanks to our booth. Ample portion (of meatloaf) and drink. There was a slightly different taste to the meatloaf -- a different spice possibly -- but still my first choice on the menu. Dessert was not an option.
Great as always
Enjoyed New Years Eve dinner!
Live Music, a special menu with a wonderful filet mignon and a fabulous potato dish, attentive service, friendly staff - what more could we ask for! Consistently good.
New Years eve dinner date. The food was outstanding. Loved the atmosphere and the way the tables are set up. Doesn't look to be a bad seat in the house. Nice bar as well. Good service and again excellent food .
We had eaten here soon after it opened and were disappointed at that time. We gave it another try on NYE, and we were disappointed again. Prices were high ($38 for two scallops) and the scallops were not fully cooked. Also ordered tuna which I’d specified “not pink” and it was delivered rare. I don’t mind paying a lot for a meal but I expect a lot in return.
Service was very good, but food only just fair. Visited for breakfast, most of our party's eggs were over done. For example eggs benedict egg yolks were cooked solid, that's fine if that's what you request but shouldn't come that way by default.
Overall, I was a little disappointed. Half of our table had dairy allergies, and the waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and was relatively clueless as to what did and did not have dairy, so had to make a bunch of trips back to the kitchen to find out before we could order anything. Turned out that the only 2 appetizer options that had dairy, only came in servings for 2, at over $10 piece. Picture a 2-inch Rockfish patty costing $6-7 a piece, and then trying to order enough non-dairy appetizers for a table of 8. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was nice, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with dietary restrictions OR for a group.
Everything we expected from an upscale dining experience! We will be back!
Layout is sterile, food was cold and nothing special, best to travel the extra distance to Ashland for a special meal experience.
We love Larks, our favorite restaurant. My only recommendation would be to have a few more options of fish. I like the vegetarian option, but would have preferred fish and the only fish option was Tuna.
We drive through Medford every year and stay at the Inn and have dinner at Larks. It’s one of our favorite places and we always enjoy the food and service. We had a great time before dinner sitting in the bar and Ginger took great care of us.
The food is creative, well-prepared, nicely presented, and scrumptious!
