Larks - Home Kitchen Cuisine at The Ashland Springs Hotel
It is our favorite place to g for a celebratory meal. Food is consistently good. It feels so sunny and inviting. Will be back for sure!
Lunch was lovely, food was delicious, service was great. We were the only ones in the dining room which was kind of a treat :-)
We make it a point to eat at Larks every time we come to Ashland and are never disappointed
We returned to eat at Larks because we enjoy it each time we've been there.
Outstanding dinner and service by the staff. Truly enjoyed a memorable Anniversary dinner experience.
Food and ambiance was fantastic, unfortunately the service was lacking. Waited 5 minutes before anyone came to our table to ask about beverages or to get water. I think it was because we had an early reservation at 11am. Not sure on that but the guest experience could be improved.
Our favorite place for a special occasion. We love the people who work there (Jesse and Sasha are wonderful!)
Our favorite dish the other night was the middle Eastern inspired halibut. So delicious! And of course the Main Street Manhattans are consistently our favorite drink in this town.❤️❤️❤️
As usual, the food, service and ambience was wonderful.
I always recommend Larks. One of my favorite places to dine on a regular basis with friends and family,.
Inventive, vibrant flavored food.
Every year I have guests from California come to enjoy a play at the Shakespeare Festival and have dinner at Lark's. We've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, the menu is outstanding and the food is delicious.
An excellent dinner - the carrot & cauliflower soup was delicious, as was the cod entree special, and the sorbet in dark chocolate cup.
A very pleasant lunch that began with a lentil soup followed by a messy-but-delicious chicken breast sandwich. My companion had the Cobb salad, which was clearly enough for two people! Really a huge portion. It was very good but the turkey (not chicken) pieces were cut too large to be easy to eat without cutting. The iced tea here is a notch above other places. Service it very attentive without being annoying.
Its always a pleasure to dine at this wonderful Ashland restaurant. The service is professional and the food is presented beautifully. Just perfect.
Yes, because the hotel is nice and the overall service was good but I had called prior to making a reservation because my husband has food allergies snd is allergic to wheat. They said the could always make an omelette or somthing when I called but when we got there we asked and our waitress said that was not an option. He had the quiche which was smothered in a sauce that I'm positive had flour in it. There was bacon with the French toast and poached eggs with my Benedict so had they wanted to accomodate it would have been easy. Just my two cents.
Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear about how we missed the mark during your visit on Easter. We take all dietary restrictions very seriously and have many options that would have accommodated your husband's needs. Please contact me so we can arrange for you to return as our guest. Warmly, Jacob Nunes, 541-488-5558 Restaurant Manager
Larks is one of our favorites and this time was no exception! We celebrated our anniversary here and everything was perfect. The staff, the food and the complimentary dessert.
The food was superb and the service friending and attentive. Lovely restaurant for anoccasion n
The food was spectacular! We went to Larks while on our baby moon and were extremely pleased with the quality of service, from the bartender to the hostess to our waitress. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Our food had such strong and unique flavors with perfect portion sizes. I haven’t had such a delicious meal at a restaurant in a long time. Our waitress then offered us dessert on the house since we were celebrating. It was very kind and thoughtful and appreciated.
Wow! Thank you so much. Your review was so thoughtful and kind. We as a team would love to have you back in and look forward to meeting the new addition to the family. Congratulations Again. Warmly, Larks Family
Consistently delicious. Peofessional ataff, old world charm, great brunch, new york style bar for drinkers. My goto place on the Rogue Valley for special occassions and good food before theatre alike.
Food was delicious. The Juliet cocktail was delicious. The ambience was very pleasant.
always a favorite in Ashland. The service & food is always wonderful.
Date night with my husband. Had a lovely meal and even though it was late evening when we arrived, the food and service was not rushed. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Larks at The Ashland Springs Hotel is always a wonderful experience from servers to service! Always the best and freshest ingredients!
Travel to Ashland for theater. Stayed 4 nights. Larks was one of the best eateries.
Ordered soup, didn’t come with bread, charged a buck more for bread, hmmmm.
Asher was great. Food delicious & desert stunning.
We always request the Caribe room for it's larger space. One slight downside is that it is directly over the kitchen and there is some early morning noise but it is time to get up anyway so it was not a problem for us. Everything about the hotel is first rate. Breakfasts are works of art, staff is fantastic and personal, and the location is perfect for access to the theaters and downtown shops of Ashland.
When asked (being a local) - when people ask for a referral - I always recommend Larks. It is such a lovely place to enjoy a fabulous meal and a nice glass of well. Always consistent in food and service.
We had a wonderful meal at Larks and will definitely dine there again when we are visiting Ashland. The service was outstanding.
Lovely place for lunch--the cartelized fennel omelet is a hit!! Great service!
Always a great place to dine - lunch or dinner - before OSF. Great food, friendly staff.
We celebrated our anniversary at Larks the other night and everyone in the group loved it. Sasha, our server, made recommendations to accommodate various food preferences, and they were spot on. Three of us had the salmon but not everyone wanted it cooked to the same degree, and all were perfect. We shared the Brussels sprouts for the table and loved every morsel. The service is always friendly and attentive, and we like that it's quiet enough to talk comfortably. We eat here often and are never disappointed, which is why it really is our favorite.
Great food and amazing service. Staff was extremely helpful and always there for any question you have.
Great attentive service, very appropriate.
My birthday lunch with a dear friend and Lark’s is always our favorite place to celebrate! Excellent food and drinks and service and menu choices plus a beautiful ambiance ... we love Larks!
Great, as usual. We spent a small fortune (because we ordered a LOT) but we were celebrating a birthday and pulled out all the stops. Our server was especially wonderful—hang on to her (sorry I don’t remember her name).
It was an amazing meal with amazing service. We had a great night and will definitely be dining here again!
At the not-brunch (oh, I miss brunch!) yesterday, my companion and I had the shrimp and lardons hash. It was beyond delicious. Please feature it on the menu again. Since I'm sensitive to onions and garlic, I asked to have the scallions omitted, and the dish was magnificently flavorful even in their absence. (Note, please, you chefs who substitute garlic for creativity. Creativity, manifested in this case as avocado and cilantro, is wonderfully flavorful.)
As always, the room is lovely, fellow diners are clearly people of discernment and taste, and the staff is without exception sweet-tempered, obliging, knowledgeable and prompt in their attention. Would I recommend Larks--well, yes. I do all the time. When I have visitors from out of town, I assume they will enjoy Larks, and on this matter, I'm never wrong.
Always a lovely setting in which to dine. The staff is very friendly, efficient and courteous. The food is quite good though my Kobe beef was fairly chewy, so disappointing. My dining partner really enjoyed the Sturgeon and the flourless chocolate cake was a divine dessert. Definitely going back but avoiding the beef.
We had a wonderful experience overall. The staff made us feel very special. We appreciated their recommendations and introduction to new wines.
We will return.
