Great food and terrific service in a lovely setting.

This was our first dinner out since the start of the pandemic We were on our way to sunriver. The food was great and the service was also great. We highly recommend it.

Love the restaurant and have been a number of times. Only ding in food was two of us ordered the fried chicken breast. Tender and tasty but the gravy was a bit too thick so seemed heavy. Third person had the halibut and she raved. Will return next trip. Thanks!!

Molly was excellent and we appreciate the attitude and willingness to accommodate requests. We ate in the lobby with our dog and it took almost 90 minute to get dinner. We left happy as it was our Anniversary and we received a chocolate Happy Anniversary message and a free dessert. All the Newman Group properties have well trained people who understand customer service and excel at taking care of you.

Excellent food welcoming service

We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated at a quiet table as requested. It was about 5 min before we saw our server who was barely friendly. My husband’s beer arrived fairly quickly but it was clear my wine had been forgotten when it finally arrived..

We ordered yummy Brussel sprouts and a very fresh arugula salad. We asked to share the fried chicken dinner and for $5 we both got our own plates with plenty of mashed potatoes and collard greens and shared the excellent fried chicken breast. Although the chicken was hot, it was obvious the potatoes and greens had sat waiting for the chicken and were just warm, not hot. All was tasty, nonetheless. If our server was new and perhaps nervous and we had been told, we would have been patient but it seemed more like an attitude problem. The young man who cleared our plates and refilled our water was a delight. We would definitely eat at Lark’s again. The mistakes certainly did not ruin our experience.

Just me treated myself

Mouthwatering food. The mussels in white wine sauce appetizer was a meal in itself. Indeed, my dining partner and I find that an appetizer and a shared entree is entirely satisfying.

Overpriced terrible food. Don’t recommend it. 20$ burger with Mitch stick fries, edible!

Chicken, was nothing to boast about. So disappointed, a total was of money. There are many good restaurants in Ashland. Save your money terry a different place.
They were nice, and gave us a little discount on the plate we did not touch.
The luch menu is ok. I have had OK LUNCHES HERE BUT I WILL AVOID IT FOR DINNER.

As always, everything was excellent. This is the fourth or fifth time I've ordered the Eggs Benedict with delicate squash, which should tell you how delicious they are. Jacob was the server--charming, personable, efficient as always. My companion and I enjoyed a long, deep conversation in the best of milieus. Many thanks, Larks.

Supposedly famed for the the Southern fried chicken, it was horrible. It appeared to have been fried hours in advance, crusty, hard and dry. Both my brother and I sent it back.

The food was wonderful and the service was wonderful as well. We will definitely be coming back.

This is a great spot. We met friends for dinner and had a really nice time. We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions as we pass through Ashland. The staff is great, the restaurant itself is very nice. The food is good and their menu is interesting. Prices for the most part are very good, albeit a tad high ... but not out of line. Bar staff is great and the cocktails are enjoyable.

I have been going to the Lark for the last nine years and have been consistently impressed. The food is always fine and flexible- my vegan son was fed like a king. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful but maybe more importantly cheerful. I plan to keep coming for years so keep it up. Thank you!

The brisket was the first bad meal I’ve ever had at Larks - very starchy and bland. Most meals there are great!!

In addition to the delicious food, the wait staff was so helpful with my husband, who suffers from dementia. We had a wonderful time for his birthday.

Everything was amazing. This has been our third time here, and the service is hit or miss. This time, it wasn't a miss, just slightly awkward.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing. An employee recommended some good food and we were all extremely satisfied with the flavor of all the plates.

My wife got the pork tenderloin special and it was great. I got the pork chop. I asked for medium and it was cooked well. The pancetta horseradish lentil ragout was way too over seasoned and I didn’t taste horseradish at all. The apple mustard seed compete was a good pairing though.
With how many open tables there were in the restaurant we were sandwich between two other couples.

We dined on a Wednesday so it wasn't very crowded, so I wouldn't know about noise levels on other days. That said, it was great. Food was just right. The meatloaf was the best ever.

Larks never disappoints! The staff is courteous and professional, the menu and daily specials extensive and the food is delicious! We frequent Larks for special occasions.

I had put in the reservation that it was my birthday but the waitress made no mention. The service was slow and the food was nothing special. Luckily an attentive male waiter came by to check on us and when I mentioned it was my birthday he immediately went off to bring a dessert with candle. Finally someone who understood it was a special occasion.

I have been bringing friends to Larks for years because it is the perfect place to have a relaxed lunch or dinner. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way to make our meals special.

Also, I like the on-line reservations because it is so easy.

I had the risotto. The server had advised me it was potato based which I thought would be fine. I did not care for the sauce or the flavors. It sounded good on the menu. My friend had a steelhead trout dinner and he was happy with it.

The five of us all ordered different appetizers and entrees and each was terrific. The fish specials were particularly wonderful and the sorbet in a chocolate shell was a fine dessert. Riley did an excellent job serving. All in all a delightful evening.
