Love the location and the vibe. Decent food as well, however, staff and management was not prepared for walk ins and reservation customers, a little unorganized, but overall, love the place. would definitely come back.
Sever could have been more tentative of our drinks
This is my second lunch visit. The food both times have just been okay. I had the homemade lasagna today. It was barely warm and lacked flavor and seasoning in my opinion. Also, I ordered a glass of the Prosecco from the menu and the waiter didn’t inform me they were out of that particular Prosecco and poured me a glass of Ruffino Prosecco. I wanted to try one of the Italian wines on the menu. If I had wanted Ruffino I could have just bought it at Kroger. I really like the concept of Eataly and the overall store and atmosphere. The food has just been disappointing for me.
Awesome meal, reminded me of eating in Florence, Italy.
When I ordered the Sparking water, just for myself, I received half a liter, which was $7 and way too much for me to drink. I had more shopping in the mall to do, the waitress did her best to put a cork in it, but it popped off, I keep a hankie in my purse so I was able to use it to eliminate any spillage in my bag. Just be Mindful.
Everything from the food to the service was outstanding! I would definitely be back to this place. Loved my whole experience!
The pizza was excellent. I was not impressed with the pasta dish I tried or the lasagna. The cannolis were not very good. The service was great. No complaints there!!
Had been wanting to try Eataly and loved the experience. Lasagna was very good except a little dry. Asked for a small amount of sauce to eat the rest and was charged $1.50 each for 2 of us that were served the lasagna. I don't think that was necessary to charge for something being dry from the kitchen. Our waiter was exceptional.
The food was really good but the portions were too small. We ordered Bruschetta and it was one slice of bread. The price was $10! We had to cut it into 4!!! The waiter was not very attentive and kept looking at other women and getting distracted.
The overall ambiance was great and felt very lively.
We went early so not the rush hour and the service was terrible. The food was not good wither.
I took my elderly friend to lunch yesterday at The Eatery because she had heard good things and wanted to go. It was great from beginning to end. The parking valet took good care of us and made it easy. Our server, Ulysses was helpful, patient, and really good. We loved our butternut squash ravioli, pizza with a tender crust, and the tiramisu. I can't wait to go back!
The server was awful. The foods and drinks came out in different times, the foods and drinks were wrong items, and the service was slow, and some of the items never made to the table.
Took 8 minutes to get a table for a reservation I had. Took 15 minutes for our waiter to finally come over after being seated. Didn’t offer bread. Brought oil and no balsamic in it. Had to waive him down to order food. Had to waive him down for drink refills. Very forgetful. Food was amazing. Service was bad. Had put down it was my moms birthday and that was never acknowledged.
Poor service. Slow. Unfriendly.
The reservation was for 12.30 PM. We asked for a table outside. Were told for table outside we must wati till 13.00. Ridiculous! The calamaretti fritti were good, the side
sauce was like tomatoes coming from a can.No taste at all.The margherita pizza very good. The rosé wine, Alie from Tuscany excellent.Very good service.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! i would highly recommend.
Excellent service and the best Italian food around!
Sooo delicious you should try
3 out 6 meals were wrong and 3 out of 6 became ill that night. Meal took 2.5 hours, the noise level is loud, and service was less then moderate. By the end of the meal we could not even get water for our glasses. There are too many better places in Dallas then to eat here.
A definite taste of Italy in more ways than one ! Highly recommended for quality, ambience and service
I enjoyed dining at this restaurant for the second time. The salads are divine for lunch. Those around us having pasta seemed to enjoy but they were large portions so to go boxes were needed. One negative is that there is no brewed iced tea, only bottled tea. And there is no hot tea except chamomile which for lunch time seemed inappropriate. Because this restaurant is deep in the heart of Texas, there must be a way to accommodate the desire for iced tea as summer approaches.
Pasta was salty. Not what I expected from Eataly.
I had the Qadrati and I must say it was delicious. It took me back to when I was in Italy.
I thought the sauce was going to be strong lemon flavor but it wasn't. It was just perfect. The pistachios paired perfectly it it. I definitely recommend this dish.
The girls at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and unorganized and I heard quite a few other people complaining about their process. We only waiting 10 additional minutes after our reservation time though. The restaurant was extremely noisy - we were so relieved to have a table on the patio. Our waiter was slow and forgetful. Our water was actually warm and when we asked for ice, it took forever to get and he only brought 4 glasses for 5 people. Chef (Andrew) refused to make our little birthday boy chicken parmesan even though you have a chicken cutlet (Milanese) on the menu and could have easily added some spagetti sauce and cheese. I'm Italian and appreciate a good Italian restaurant. My Branzino was delicious and my friends pizza (with eggplant) was just average she said. When we walked past the pizza place in the shopping area, she said "I would have preferred some of this pizza". It made me feel bad because I recommended this restaurant for her son's birthday and everyone said they wouldn't go back. I, personally, would go back and sit on the patio and have the Branzino again but probably couldn't recommend this restaurant to my friends. If the Chef would have accommodated our simple request and the waiter would have provided better service it would have been an entirely different experience. I used to be both a waitress and a bartender and am providing my honest feedback as I always appreciated it when someone did that for me. Thank You for listening. Vicki Reynolds
Hostess a bit snotty, manager great. Evening turned out fine.
Lovely, casual restaurant. The homemade pasta is to die for!
This was our 5th time visiting Eataly. I have to say that it was very disappointing. The food was delicious as always but, our service was poor to say the least. We felt neglected by our waitress the entire time. Pretty sure this isn’t what the standards are at Eataly.
A little difficult to find but overall a wonderful experience. We enjoyed shopping in the grocery area after we ate.
Love the Mozzarella bar, but ask for more bread, since they skimp on that. Delish!
Simply and regretfully... food had little taste. If you’re going to count on simple ingredients to make the dish it especially has to be seasoned. Mussels, arancini, pasta pomodoro, -all bland. Mozzarella, zero salt. Service was lovely but wouldn’t go again unless invited.
It was delicious! We loved the mozerella appetizer and the kids loved their pizza!
Fresh italian food..selection great... patient wait staff..
Food has been better in a prior. This time the ravioli was underwhelming because it was undercooked, less than el dente. My friends chicken was tough. I won't rush back here. The upstairs restaurant, Tera, is always good. I'll be going back there for sure.
Tiny round table top for 2 didn’t have enough room for the 2 entrees and 2 small plates to share plus water and wine each. Table next to us suffered the same. At both tables all we could do was stack the bread plates we had been using fir the pizza, still felt crowded.
The pizza was amazing.
The lasagna had very over cooked and resulted in a mushy texture to the pasta. How long it had sat in a steam table May account for it. The sauce was very good, but neither one of us cared for the overcooked pasta at all.
Kind of Expensive
Not Paris crazy expensive,
It was delicious
Go to the cafe or the pizza or pasta lines in the store. This restaurant was pretty bad for the cost of eating there. We didn’t get our silverware until a few minutes after appetizers were sent. Uncomfortable seating, cold bread, overpriced drinks and food. Calamari was so chewy and springy like gum. The only good thing was the regular Neapolitan pie, which you can get for less at Midici, Cane Rossi, Cavalli, literally anywhere else.
Never coming back here again. I’ll stick to shopping at the store, if at all.
Great food and service!
Very average and mediocre restaurant would not recommend dining here. Food was very bland and was not worth it for the price either.
Our waitress was very helpful on wine and food choices.
Amazing food but even not full very loud.
