Made reservation and was able to get a table within a minute of our reservation time
Horrible waiter experience
I took my friend on her birthday. We had pasta and it was simply yummy. Want to go again to try the Pizzas. And we hand a Hibiscus mocktail that was excellent.
Nick was so good…. We were impressed with his knowledge of the food and the menu.
Food was so so. I’ve had better for lower prices.
Waiter was impatient with us and kept returning to table when we asked to take our time reading menu since it was our first visit.
Market was fun and vibrant.
$24 for a glass of wine!
Will try again and pick a different entree to see if it is better.
Will tell others who ask about eating here our experience.
We always say go try and decide for yourself.
Our waiter and her assistant we very inattentive. Our entre was served with our appetizer plates still on the table. We needed a second bottle of wine and it took a long time to gat our waiters attention. We were entertaining someone that had not been there before. Very disappointing!
Food was overpriced for the portions and quality. Pizza is made in a different kitchen from the pasta so the food comes out at completely different times. My son had finished the pizza he ordered before any of the pasta dishes had even arrived. We were celebrating a birthday and had made reservations, but were given a table as close to the hostess as possible for some reason. If we ever go back, we will only be eating pizza.
I do recommend if you're planning a visit here make the reservation in advance! Our server Derik was very kind and helpful but wasn't able to spend a lot of time at our table since it was very busy. I suggest reading the menu online beforehand in order the know what dishes are. Hated using my phone at the table to lookup what was in a dish, dinner should be a "no phone" zone!
The room was too noisy for easy conversation across the table and since the food was slow coming out of kitchen not being able to talk to each other was definitely a bad thing. We were seated at a high-top table directly in front of the pizza ovens and kitchen service window and this was fine but we also had a birds-eye view of the dishwasher (literally) and cleaning station. Didn't enjoy watching the glassware being scrubbed out while eating our meal.
We had a party of 6 adults for a birthday dinner. The shareable platters were barely enough for 4 adults so plan on having to get multiples if 5 or more in your party. The food tasted good (just). Portion size of entrees was good however, I felt the cost ($$$) was not proportional at all. Hanger steak lacked flavor, was tough and slightly overcooked, the calzones were flavorful but only half had any of the filling with the rest being only crust. Pasta dishes were good but again, felt cost overshadowed the enjoyment. Another reviewer mentioned beverage selection and I too was surprised by tea, soft drinks and waters being served from the bottles straight out of the store coolers. Here again in my opinion, the cost of the wine & beverages was not in line with what was presented. There was an issue with our dessert choices but the manager on duty was quick to address and resolve issue without any questions asked.
The room was cool to several in our group so bring a wrap if you tend to be cold.
Overall, we can say we went but decided we don't need a repeat, "been there, done that" says it well enough. Not really sure what all the hype is about...
Pizza was tasty pasta was not good at all
Service was lacking genuine hospitality. Felt like the experience was rushed yet slow
My friend and I are already planning what to eat next time!
Service was VERY slow. Food is delicious!
I thought the portions were very small. The place was very loud; heard to hold a conversation. Costly lunch.
Food was way overpriced for the quality and portion size, plenty of better options for Italian food if you’re looking to pay this much.
great food and service! lights in the booths too bright and room a bit noisy, but very good overall!
The pizza was cold when it arrived to the table. Flavor was good but disappointing. Our server was nice but no one cleared dishes as we ate. Overall it was disappointing.
Pasta was very dry and hard like it has been sitting on the counter for long time. Pizza was soggy too like bottom of it wouldn’t hold toppings it drooped off. Only good thing was the wine and salad.
Visiting and shopping at Eataly is definitely an unique and awesome experience. The dining at La Pizza and La Pasta was ok. I got the Lasagna and was not that impressed. It was barely warm. My wife got the Chicken Milanese and it was good. Our waiter was good and while shredding Parmesan on my plate the cheese broke and a huge chunk about 7in long fell on my Lasagna. Fortunately since the Lasagna was not very saucey, nothing got on my shirt. We laughed it off and enjoyed our bonus cheese.
More of a wine place, cocktails are mediocre.
Amazing food and top notch service!
Lloud. Overpriced. Very good and fresh food, though. Our server seemed to have trouble with the new “tap style” credit card and we had to get a manager to help him with the machine to pay our bill. Definitely could use some additional training there.
We had heard so much about Eataly that we finally were able to go for my birthday. What an experience!
Three stories of pure bliss.
It is hard to put into words all you will experience here without just saying, do not miss an opportunity to go.
Plan to stay awhile taking it all in.
Will be back very soon
Pizzas were delicious. The Cod entree I ordered was not good. I should have ordered a pasta dish. Noise level was too energetic and too loud for me. Too busy for a week day night.
Our food was nothing special and not hit. The lasagna came out so fast it had to be preprepared and just mircrowaved. It was not hot. Pizza was bland and chewy. Our waiter never offered cheese for our dinners. It was a very disappointing and pricy dinner.
The pasta with mushrooms was delicious as was the salad with kale, beets, walnuts, and goat cheese. Would definitely go back.
Our server was very nice, but because of her accent and the noise level in the restaurant, we were unable to hear/understand the specials of the day. Additionally, we had to ask 3 times for young men who were just standing by the kitchen to come clear the plates from our table. I was also surprised to be served a simple plate of ravioli ... no vegetable, salad or bread came with it!
Seafood dish was very lack-luster due to overcooked shrimp. Seating area was not cleaned thoroughly.
Don’t get me wrong I love Eatly but this time the experience was mediocre. They won’t let you sit down for your reservation unless half your party is there, they overcharge for shaved truffles ($25) that weren’t that flavorful, and they only had one working bathroom for the entire restaurant.
I love the food quality here. I had the kale and quinoa salad and it was fantastic.
Service was awful. Waited a long time to be approached at all, the server cleared dishes before my guest was finished eating (she was too shy to say anything), the bathrooms were completely out of toilet paper. An employee told me that they don’t have any, so use another bathroom.
I’ve been here several times and had good experiences, but this one was not a winner.
Too cold in the restaurant!
Not many ingredients one can add to their pizza. I won't order again. It was just okay. The crust is delicious. Toppings ... okay. Not impressed for the money. I've been to Italy and LOVE LOVE their pizza/pasta!
LOVED everything about it! I wish there was another closer to arlington & mansfield
Way overpriced for the taste of the food. Nice looking restaurant, but felt chaotic. Our waiter was very attentive, but food was sub par.
Food was outstanding and our waiter was very helpful with the menu and wine selections
The restaurant was busy and the service was slow. Our waiter was very nice, professional and polite but perhaps had too many tables to cover!
I loved the Caprese Salad! But everything else was meh. It was very overpriced for what we got. We wanted to share a dish and our server basically told us that we could not. Our server also told us that they do not make changes to their dishes. I guess the customer is not important and cannot have it their way. Only the Eataly way. My salad with tuna desperately needed salt and pepper. We will not be back.
Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles, with a mix of cheap mushrooms and a few porcini mushrooms, the truffe is paid for at a high price.
A cold and inedible pizza, only the name is Italian!
I do not recommend it.
High price for the quality of the food.
Our server was very rude. Service really left an awful taste on this restaurant. Perhaps I’ll give terra a try still, but won’t be back here for awhile. We chucked it up to hopefully just a covid staffing issue- and will improve with time. Love the market in the meantime.
We ordered a variety of dishes - bolognese, vongole, Milanese, calzone, caprese and verdure fritte - all of it was subpar. The service was mediocre, and you definitely feel like you are eating in a mall, not a restaurant. Overall a disappointing experience.
First time and it didn’t disappoint…10/10 and we can’t wait to go back!! So thrilled to have this establishment in Dallas!! Highly recommend!!
