Lapeer is a chef inspired Steak and Seafood concept with a boutique coastal vibe setting located in the heart of the Historic downtown Alpharetta.

The menu will include premium cuts of beef including prime, certified Angus, America Wagyu and reserved dry aged steaks. Our seasonal approach will have a mixture of classic, yet innovative creations as well as some steakhouse staples. We source our fresh seafood and day boat fish from the gulf and east coast and offer a regular rotating selection of fresh oysters.

A well balanced by the glass list with a focus on new world varietals. An extensive reserve list driven by full bodied California cabs and red blends, backed with a solid mix of old world Italian and French varietals.

Food was great! Drink service was a bit slow. Took about 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks. Other than that, everything was great.

Absolutely delicious food and while it seems like the staff is still learning the ropes, they are all friendly. I also appreciate the corkage option.

This restaurant is always a great night out! The food is wonderful with great choices, the service is fabulous and the ambiance is a fun vibe. The noise level can be high so just be prepared for high energy

I’ve dined at LaPeer multiple times and it’s long been one of my top recommendations in the Alpharetta area. The food and service have always been reliably excellent — until tonight. I was entertaining vendors and started the evening on a high note with a great selection of oysters and calamari. Wanting something hearty, I ordered the filet medium rare with the blue cheese topping. Unfortunately, that’s where things took a turn. The blue cheese topping was overwhelmingly salty — to the point of being inedible — and completely overpowered the steak. To make matters worse, the filet was cooked medium with no pink at all, not the medium rare I ordered. I politely mentioned to our server that the blue cheese had ruined the steak, but she simply shrugged. When she returned to clear the plate (mostly untouched), I pointed out the overcooked steak and again expressed my disappointment. Still, no apology, no acknowledgment — just a smile and silence. Sadly, this experience completely soured my excitement for LaPeer. It’s disheartening to see such a great spot drop the ball like this. I won’t be returning anytime soon, nor will I continue recommending it as I have in the past

Inside was kind of dark for my taste. Next time I will be sure to sit on the cover patio, but overall was great!

Man- I really want this place to be my go to. Love everything but they have not figured out how to cook steaks. (At least the ones I order) They crush the fish. Can’t go wrong there! Service is amazing
