Lapeer Seafood Restaurant
Fantastic food, service, and ambiance!! My only disappointment was the sound level - it was very loud, and my table of four had a hard time hearing one another.
Love this place! Not only the food is always fresh but they are always have new plates and cocktails in the menu. Anything you order will taste like heaven.
Service always friendly and they are very helpful if you need any suggestions.
Awesome addition to the Alpharetta City Center!!!
I have always had an exceptional meal along with great cocktails!!
I think for lunch I would not. Not enough salad choices.
Great place for girls night. The table shared mussels and a couple of great bottles of wine. We each tried a different pasta dish, all fantastic. The service was awesome!
Saturday was my first meal at Lapeer and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Our server was amazing and so was the dinner. Thank you so much for making this night special.
First visit to LaPeer for husbands birthday with friends and family and the service was excellent as was the food. We had one person who’s food was slightly undercooked and they quickly resolved it and brought out a new plate. The manager visited the table twice thereafter to make sure he was satisfied and was very nice and you could tell wanting to make sure we were happy overall.
Staff was incredibly friendly and we will be back. Highly recommend.
Our favorite spot in downtown Alpharetta. From the tastiest drink menu to a wine selection that matches anyone. The staff is excellent without being overbearing. The oysters are the freshest I've found. All in all it was just a great spot.
Food and service were great. A little too noisy for conversation.
Lapeer's menu has changed completely since they first opened and is now outstanding in value, execution, taste and variety. We started with the smoked fish appetizer, a generous portion easily enough for two and which was accompanied by house made hot sauce. My steelhead trout (very similar to salmon, so if you like salmon, you will love it) was cooked to perfection, a good size filet, tender, flaky, with a delicate lemon sauce, accompanied by seasonal roasted root vegetables and plated atop a delicious carrot puree. My husband opted for the fish and chips, which included 3 very large pieces of crispy-on-the-outside, flaky white filet on the inside with very good house made tartar sauce plus malt vinegar and large wedge shaped potatoes. We did not have room for dessert. The interior of the restaurant is light, airy with huge windows all the way around, and well located right in the heart of the new downtown Alpharetta so you can see all the action from your table. Service was excellent, polished and friendly. We plan to put this place on our regular rotations. And by the way, the menu includes plenty of wonderful options if you are not a seafood lover like me.
We had reservations two weeks in a row because we love this restaurant!
We were 3 couples, and we’re celebrating 3 birthdays. Service was outstanding, food as good and very much enjoyed the decor. Did not rush us, answer a heap of menu questions and made us feel very welcome.
We have been to Lapeer numerous times and everything is excellent. Some of our favorites are the fish dip, lobster roll (chips are amazing), fish and chips, gnocchi and chocolate tart. They also make great cocktails and have an excellent waitstaff.
Excellent service, Great food served in a really wonderful atmosphere. Fun and lively. Everything is fresh and prepared to perfection. A must is the deserts Awesome !!!!
We are repeat customers. The steelhead trout is phenomenal!!
Would love to see Lapeer expand their menu and provide more options. Appetizers and sides are very limited.
We had great food and great service. We shared the red snapper and also the halibut. It was perfect!
Downtown Alpharetta gem! Great fresh seafood and cocktails. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
Food, service and atmosphere was amazing! Can’t wait to go back :)
Great Seafood restaurant in Alpharetta.
Service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
Wonderful food & experience
We had a fabulous happy hour/dinner there.
Michael was a wonderful server.
We loved the cocktails and the appetizers.
Highly recommended this fun spot.
You will feel like you are at the beach 😎
Our waiter Gabriel was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and how the food was prepared. His recommendations for the Snapper and Steelhead were spot on. My son was with us and knew the Bar Manager Cody who did an excellent job on some creative cocktails for us.
Again the food presentation and quality were superb all around. Will definitely be coming back once again soon.
The location and ambiance of the restaurant are great. We found the menu choices to be limited, portions very small, and prices very high. The tuna cubes appetizer sounded like a much more substantial dish than what it ended up being- about 6 small cubed pieces of tuna in chili oil dusted lightly with quinoa. Very, very small for $23.00!
Great restaurant in the heart of downtown Alpharetta.
We sat at the bar, which has a very nice vibe. Great service, very knowledgeable staff. The food was terrific.
It is a real jewel in Alpharetta, where you would not expect to find the great seafood and fish. And our waiter Luis was amazing and his recommendations were all expert selections.
This is our 2nd time and we love the quality, innovative food.
The food and service were outstanding. Very creative menu.
Delicious Food, Beautiful Atmosphere, just pricy on dishes.
Overpriced menu considering very small portion sizes. The food was just okay, nothing that I would come back for specifically. We spent a lot of money and left hungry.
It was very loud in the dining room. Not a good place for conversation. Good and service were good.
Trout was excellent!!
Great food was overshadowed by rushed service and noisy atmosphere.
Food, service, energy was great. But, the price point was very high compared to the portion sizes. The quality was amazing, but everyone left hungry.
Food and service was excellent. But the noise level in this place was off the charts. Very difficult to even have a conversation and we went for anniversary so not the best atmosphere. It’s too bad based on how pretty it is inside and how great the food was. Would have to think twice about going back.
Noisiest of the 20 restaurants we’ve been in this year, even outside. Conversation difficult.
Lobster risotto came out cold... as did the second try, after it was sent back. How does that happen? And at $34?
We were very pleased with the service, the foot and the cleanliness of Lapeer!! We were extremely disappointed in the acoustics and the noise level preventing conversation.
Food was just ok, and expensive. It seems it’s trying to be something between a wine bar and fish house. It would do a lot better to be a good fish house with value based pricing vs catering to the more esoteric. I don’t see it doing well long term.
Delightful setting and really nice service. Stunning plates beautifully styled all fresh and delicious everything was amazing and so many enticing options on the menu...
