   Had a good lunch at the Lanivet Inn, three guest had the tapas menu and it was great. The rest of the meals were also very good, small gammon with chips mushrooms onion ring egg and pineapple, peas and tomatoe plus two fish and chips. Did have to wait a while as there only seemed to be two staff but they did a good job of seeing to all the customers. Would highly recommend a visit.

   Amazing portion sizes, always busy but that can lead to a long wait for food. Hunters chicken was a bit over cooked and American fries with the burger were cold. On the whole still a great pub to visit, just a few issues as it was so busy.

   Food not up to my expectations based on Trip Advisor reviews. I had Monk Fish with pancetta- A few small pieces of fish and two great blobs of dry mash.

   Food was spot on and service was spot on. Only thing that let it down is the waitress never returned the change. Was going to add to it to leave a tip but the original change never arrived back at the table

   An excellent Sunday Roast in a traditional village pub. Food was well cooked, well presented and with a choice of portion sizes. Car park was full (understandably), but there is easy parking on a Sunday close by.

    Lovely meal, pork ribs gigantic meal, enough for 2 people I would think. Really enjoyed it. Service spot on, meals hot and staff very friendly.

    Our table (with a child) was right next to the noisy bar which was unacceptable. To be fair, we were then offered a table outside which was OK. The service was good and the food was delicious. We would not wish to be seated in the noisy and crowded bar to enjoy an evening out, with or without a child, but we would definitely eat there again.

    We had a lovely engagement meal at the Lanivet Inn on Oct 4th. We had a nice table and a lovely waitress (I didn't get her name but she was very young and slim with blind hair). The food was very well cooked and prepared, every one of us enjoyed our meals (and the draught Guinness was lovely too!). Desserts were a good size and tasty. I can honestly say that you get great food at a reasonable price here! Thank you to all the staff, especially our little waitress as she seemed rushed off her feet, but was very polite all the same. We would definitely visit again.

    Excellent toast lunch and ice cream dessert. Menu is generous but very well done. Staff were friendly and professional. Outside tented area was pleasant and well ordered. Will be using as a key stop en route to Cornish coast

    Booked lunch for family because my parents are down. Dad and I had the philly steak ciabatta and my Wife and Mother had the cheese and chutney sandwiches. My Dad and I really enjoyed the steak ciabatta and I thought it was the best I had ever had and my wife and Mother enjoyed theirs too. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful, it's a nice big building with plenty of space and in the winter it has an open fire too. Food is locally sourced and the takeaway meals are very good too.

    The Lanivet Inn is a local pub to us so we have green here before and have had food delivered during lockdown. We love this place as the food is always good and hearty! The staff are attentive at all times and nothing us too much for them. Always courteous and pleasant to us and other guests. Good value as well if you gave a large family. We always go back to The Lanivet Inn when we can.

    Lovely little pub. Service was very good, friendly but not overpowering. The food was delicious. I had the Seafood Jambalaya, lots of seafood and just the right amount of cajun spice. Will definitely return.

    We returned for a second evening at this lovely inn which buzzes with life and friendliness. We sat comfortably in the restaurant. Tonight we decided to have starters and desserts as the main meals are so filling we had to forgo those yesterday. Grazing and sharing plates great value and so tasty, our favourite being the monkfish bites. Slightly disappointed that there were only three smallish scallops in the starter, compared to all the other portions. Yummy desserts and more good beer and wine. Another great meal. We would definitely recommend the Lanivet Inn and hope to return in the future.

    There is a good sized car park and a nice garden with plenty of covered seating and heating. Inside the staff are very welcoming, we were sat in the bar area, so there were large tv's and a pool table. We were served by a lovely helpful lady. The menu is very extensive, there is definitely a good choice for all tastes. We had been warned that the portions are large, they are!! My husband had the big and meaty BBQ pork rib. Wow they were amazing, as were the chips. I had the hunters chicken which was delicious. Very tasty ale served here. No room for deserts. A lovely evening with the inn being used by locals and visitors like us.

    Superb meal,excellent food,service was brilliant atmosphere in the pub was great.We went for Sunday lunch which was excellent value for money,some people dining alone some groups and some couples all greeted with the same warm welcome.Staff all seemed to be enjoying their jobs too.
