Food and service were excellent. Disappointed I hadn’t tried it sooner. Job well done.

My friend and I were looking around for covid friendly and new places to try and we saw availability here. We love trying new places and we’re so glad we went! This place is so cute and decorated nice! It’s like a coastal eclectic vibe! At the time it was playing some oldie hits! Anyways, the food was awesome! I got the special of a beef lasagna and it was amazing or else I’d try the pizza they offer. My friend got the Cacio e Pepe ! They loved it as well, they are a firm lover of the Cacio e Pepe. There were options to eat inside or outside(heaters included of course). You gotta come in and hear the specials too! It’s hard to take picture of your food but I will attach my lasagna. It is a BYOB! They will ask you to pull up their menu on your phone as they do not give out menus. Oh and complimentary bread too !

My go to restaurant in Philadelphia. ALWAYS incredible food, service, everything! Love trying their new menu items, too.

Was not aware that the restaurant was BYOB and the food was mediocre. Very limited vegetarian options.

Dining outside is a challenge but the restaurant has a nice large tented area and plenty of heat lamps. Food was delicious and dessert is very good! Cappuccino was marvelous.

Went here for New Years Eve dinner with my wife and had an excellent time. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had the steak special that night and it was perfect. My wife doesn’t usually love steak and had several bites. She had the Cacio e Pepe and loved it. We live a few blocks away and are so glad to have discovered this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

We have been there 4 times. Each time, service and food are exceptional. The staff is fabulous. Really the best staff ever. Brendon was amazing, fun, personal and welcoming. Our kids, who are picky eaters, loved the food and dessert. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Our favorite place in the city....we feel like it's home away from home. Rose and Luca care about their patrons and it shows! Brandon is the best of the best...service is always perfect and food is delish. They have done a beautiful job of creating a cozy holiday feel outside as well.

Deliciously amazing as always. Top tier. Some of the friendliest service in the city tops it off.

I had a great time eating outdoors with my family by a heat lamp. Everything we ordered was delicious. My picky son Are every last drop of his meal.

We had been wanting to try for months and finally got it together. It was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Given all the challenges presented by COVID19, they were high spirited and had a good crowd. Definitely try and squid ink pasta!! We'll definitely be back.

A go to for me! Food is always yummy and service is friendly and prompt. Very COVID conscience with great patio seating. I recommend it to everyone.

Love L'Anima, and their pastas are incredible. We decided to try a pizza which was a mistake. The pizza was more of a flatbread, without any taste whatsoever. It was a dry crust with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved Parmesan. Completely unseasoned.

The food was incredible and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back! Very cute spot and quiet.

Tables were well spaced and servers were masked and attentive. Was there on a week day so was only 1/2 full, but service was great. Food was very good...

My favorite outdoor dining place. Food is great, patio is great.

We started by sharing the gnocchi with wild boar ragu. The gnocchi were cooked perfectly. had the swordfish special. The fish was grilled and very tasty. The side dishes of crunchy Brussel sprouts and spicy polenta was were excellent. The portions were more than ample. Another member of our party ordered dessert--olive oil cake with gelato and we all shared it. A perfect ending to our meal.

The only negatives were the difficulty in finding legal off-street parking (we didn't and up with a parking ticket). And the as we dined outdoors on a cool evening, the metal seats were challenging to say the least.

We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding food and service

The food is exceptional!! So fresh and light. The service is second to none. The waiters know the menu and the ingredients and are excellent. This restaurant gets better every time we go!

Delicious food!

It was our 43rd wedding anniversary, but I could eat here everyday. Good service, outdoor ambiance, delicious pinsa, artichokes and branzino.

The food was fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The outside area was comfortably social distanced with a lovely ambiance. I can’t wait to go back!

Excellent well spaced outdoor seating on a perfect night. The food is exceptional and we were happy to have our first outdoor dining experience in Philadelphia during Covid be so successful. A lot of places around center city have tables too close and too much foot traffic by the tables, L’Anima feels safe and the food is excellent.
