Had a fabulous dinner here! Their homemade pastas are the best, particularly the rigatoni with sausage and brussels sprouts. The sprouts were nothing short of delicious. And their Caesar salad was a pleasant change, with little gem lettuces instead of the usual bland Romaine. Can't wait to go back.

Rating this as a middle of the road "good." Nothing bad or wrong but also didn't particularly impress. Beet and blood orange salad (special) needed some salt, bread with olive oil was delicious and branzino main was very good, pappardelle bolognese was ok. Didn't have time for dessert. Staff was all very friendly and the noise level was great. Nice atmosphere, I just had higher expectations.

A neighborhood staple for a reason. A consistent menu with a variety of specials, we always know what we're walking into at L'Anima (and yet, we frequently get the specials!). The staff is informed and attentive, the pasta dishes are big enough to satisfy but not so big that you're stuffed, and the apps and pinsas are unique. (Go for the lemon-infused artichokes: you won't regret it.) We're not dessert people, and yet we find ourselves getting it each time because it hits the spot. Bring a bottle of red and relax at L'Anima.

L'Anima had some of the best Italian food in the city, all for a reasonable price. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our meal so much. We highly recommend the Caesar salad, the Pasta Ametricana and the Pesto. The panna cotta was the best dessert. Julio was our server and his positive energy and amazing service added to our incredible experience. We will be returning with more friends.

Food is delicious and service is really good. Menu is limited but that’s intentional so that the staff can excel in what they have on the menus. Recommend a few starters, a pasta or two to share, and then a main course. BYOB is nice as well.

The food was delicious and presentation was great. My friend and I did a few land and sea apps, split a pasta special as a second course and then each picked an entree. All were delicious. The service was also really good; super friendly and informative staff. And since it’s a byob, it makes this very affordable!
