The food was ok nothing special. The waiter took our order and than we didn’t see him again for the rest of the night. No one checked on us to make sure the food was okay or if we wanted anything else to drink. They sat us in the back of the restaurant when there was no one in there but us when we got seated. We ended up waiting 20 mins for our check after asking two people. Considering how it wasn’t busy waiting 20 mins for a check is ridiculous. To anyone reading this review I recommend going to Gigino Trattoria instead it’s right next door (the only reason we didn’t is because they were closed for renovations).
Pasta very disappointing
Neglected when check needed
Delicious food. Wait staff was very accommodating and offered menu modifications that were spot on. Bartender was also very good.
Skip it - the food is poorly seasoned and the portions small
Lots of seating. Delicious. Accommodated my group wanting to eat family-style (sharing main courses). Round table for 7 was perfect. Portions were reasonable - can't fill up on appetizers by mistake, and dinner is big enough to fill but not overwhelm/make you need to get leftovers.
From the unpriced menu, the truffle pasta was $49 (I'm sure it varies). It had lots of truffle flakes!
Drawback - we sat around the corner from the entrance and sometimes the area smelled sewer-like when the wind blew the wrong way.
I'll probably go again sometime, for a special occasion.
Limited menu. Had filet and it was too well done. they replaced the meal but the grade of beef was not great. I would choose another Italian restaurant.
Came for a date and ended up coming back alone hahaha is so good
Good food. Lousy inattentive service.
Great food! Nice atmosphere, busy but not loud. I'll go again.
Fantastic Tribeca Italian restaurant. Great food, wine list & service. This is the 3rd time I have eaten here & can't wait to go back. Fantastic homemade pastas & the filet is a must. Best Italian in the neighborhood.
Amazing experience, wonderful ambience, yummy wine
Great food and atmosphere! Perfect for our family birthday dinner
A lovely place right near our apartment. Warm welcome. Great service. Delicious Caesar salad and fettuccine with pepper and pecorino cheese. Veal Milanese was great too. Go eat there!
Love this place
The staff is very friendly and service is on point.
However, the food was mediocre and its quite disappointing. Tuna tartare tasted funny and we couldn’t eat it. Pasta is your everyday quality. Burrata was not fresh enough.
The price was too high for this low quality dishes. Sorry chef, you need to step up the game!
Waiter very thoughtful and courteous. We were not rush at all which allowed my group to take our time and reconnect over great drinks and food
Excellent choice for fun dining in Tribeca - Good selection but a bit pricy for what it is
Food was pretty good - Carpaccio excellent, Pesto Gnocchi good but a bit salty and Red Snapper tasty
Bread was stale sadly
Food took over an hour to come. Truffle pasta was $50 and was nothing special at all and overly creamy.
Great food, great service, terrific outside seating
Excellent meal and service. Look forward to returning soon.
Our dinner was delicious! We had a very friendly and attentive waiter who gave great recommendations for both food and drink. We had two of the pasta specials which may have been a bit pricier than we expected, but I have no regrets with the delicious meal!
Try the pesto gnocchi, everything else was okay, service was amazing, attended frequently
First time visit, service was superb, food very good. Would visit again if we were downtown.
Very good service especially by Vinnie Good food
A wonderful place to go with friends for special occasions. Service and food excellent.
Always a winner! Excellent food and fabulous service. Management really on top of things.
Always enjoy L’Angolo. Extraordinary fusilli - perfect al dente preparation. Stuffed zucchini flowers were scrumptious. Veal Milanese was tasty, though a bit dry. Excellent cocktails and lovely wait staff!
Fantastic pasta dishes — truly solid Italian restaurant.
The food is good but not great. We had to go inside 3 times to tell them 1 person in our party did not receive their entree. It finally showed up a good 15 min after the rest of us were already done eating. The restaurant did comp us the entree plus an extra glass of wine but at this price point and the restaurant was not full, this kind of mess up should not have happened.
For the price the food is really average
Amazing staff, so sweet. Good food at a good value. Loved the patio, will be back!!
Great date night spot!
The food wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be
Food was amazing, our waiter was so nice and provided outstanding service.
Not the most authentic Italian food in nyc. Good service nice ambiance.
The best all round restaurant in Tribeca
Unbelievably slow service. Took well over an hour to receive food after we ordered it. Food was not worth the price
L'Angolo again did not disappoint! The fresh pasta and delicious specials were amazing. As always, the service was impeccable. We will be back soon! Highly recommended.
Meatball appetizer was okay, rest of the food was delicious ordered all from the specials menu and was worth it! Wild sea bass and spicy vodka sauce are a must.
