I don't understand how this treasure can be closing.. It is a great loss to the neighborhood.
Sad that this place is closing. It was tasty and fun!
The food was delicious but the service was disappointing. They were very busy and I think there was only one waitress. We had to seek her out several times for water refills and to place orders.
Great for kids if you go early! So many kids and families on little weekend dinner date nights. Sweet and friendly staff and the food is superb! Not the market salad tho. Not good in my opinion. Has a very tart taste that I don’t feel is well-described in the menu.
They don’t update their booking system. Made a reservation through OpenTable and drove all the way there just to find out they were closed. Annoying.
Wine by the glass is seriously limited - 2 whites (both were not good) 2 reds and some bubbly I forget.
Appetizer/Cheese Plate - only one type of cheese - it was a bold cheese and there was a significant amount - almost too much - the bread that came with it was excellent but it would have been better with crackers (and at least one other choice of cheese.) The few slices of pear and bruised apple helped but pairing it with a spicy jelly and spicy mustard was questionable.
Cheese Ravioli with Ragu - uninspired - mushy and reminiscent of Chef Boyardee.
Sorry but not worth the money.
Great food and experience. Right off train!
It was my birthday and very nice evening. This place is great for families if you want a nice dinner with the kids.
The food is really good. Unfortunately, the ambiance of the place doesn't match the value of the food.
The food was outstanding as was the service. Great little gem under the El tracks!
Amazing pasta. A great neighborhood spot for food and wine.
We have consistently had wonderful food at Langhe market.
These are some of the dishes we loved: arancini (don't leave without eating these!), Market salad, and pappardelle. Nice selections of wine and friendly service.
This restaurant is the perfect place to spend a quiet evening with your SO. Get seated in one of the many cozy booths along the wall of windows looking out on Western Ave and the Blue Line stop. Enjoy the top notch people-watching your view of this transit hub affords. Enjoy the casual, comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy the great service. But most of all, enjoy the incredible food. The menu is modern Italian, and everything we have ever ordered here has been delicious.
A casual restaurant under the Blue Line Western Avenue L stop. Food is well prepared. Very casual and parking is tight. Suggest CTA or Lyft. Some creative dishes such as beef cheek tortellini and the Market salad with roasted squash and almonds.
