It is impossible for me to review this restaurant because the confirmed reservation made by OpenTable was invalid. In addition, the restaurant was not open on the day of reservation! Apparently, there has been no business relationship between OpenTable and the restaurant for about two years. The table was "reserved" for a meeting with a business contact. We had travelled about 50 miles to meet at the restaurant and this mess-up made me look very unprofessional. OpenTable offered me 1000 points as compensation! Amateurs.

Good food in an elegant country house setting. An excellent meal with a good choice of wine by the glass. Gracefully served in a fine country house. Definitely a place to celebtate a special occasion. I look forward to returning in the summer when one can see more of the house from the outside.

The Langford was recommended to me by a colleague and it did not disappoint! My partner and I went for an evening meal. We were greeted by a friendly lady and were shown to the cosy lounge where we sat by the fireplace, sipping our drinks and eating nibbles whilst choosing our meal from the small, but perfectly formed, menu. The food was delicious, no huge portions but you left feeling completely content and satisfied. A lovely evening. We will be back!

Fantastic place with welcoming front of house. Ambience beautiful manor house with pre-dinner drinks in lounge with open fire and little eats, all v nice! Food top notch, if a bit low on the old carbs.. Probably v lovely to stay the night as well!

A wonderful set up. A gorgeous period home with an amazing restaurant with good food. It also doesn't burn a whole in your pocket. Well worth the visit. Or two, or three....

This restaurant is situated in a beautiful old mansion house. There are lounge areas, where you may peruse the menu and there are separate, small dining areas - the one we were in had a capacity of twelve covers. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is beautifully presented and well portioned - by which I mean, you can comfortably eat three courses and not feel stuffed to the gills. Many of the wines are sold by the glass, as well as by the bottle. Had a lovely glass of dessert Valpolicella, recommended to go well with chocolate and they are not wrong. Very happy with our dining experience and would not hesitate to recommend to other - we will definitely dine here again.
