IF you request a booth, be sure to ask for one not at the end so you don't sit and stare at a wall.
When dining at Langdon’s the quality of food is always consistent. Do not let the location fool you this restaurant can compete with any fine dining restaurant in downtown Charleston. The ambiance is romantic and comfortable with low lighting and plush booths. This is one of my favorite dining spots in Mount Pleasant. They never disappoint.
Great meal! Great service! Davis does a excellent job! Everything was perfect! Will be back very soon!
Excellent as usual!
Langdon's is a special restaurant, their staff is superb and the food is outstanding. The appetizers are exceptional, we had the scallops and the Fois Grau which were very tasty and paired perfectly with the wine selection recommended by our waiter, Jake.
Amazing food and service! What a pleasant surprise to find outside of downtown Charleston! Will definitely recommend to friends and family
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere too!
Always exceeds expectations. Best restaurant in Mt Pleasant by far. Great filet and always fresh fish and oysters. Will accommodate special requests and strive to please even the most particular taste!
This was a great dinner with great service -
I've always been a creature of habit and have stuck to Halls and Oak as my go to steakhouses in Charleston. I'm so glad I decided to venture over the bridge and give Langdons a try because the food blows both Halls and Oak out of the water. 10/10 will dine again.
Very nice. Anniversary card on our table and champagne. Excellent food and service. Delicious Complimentary desert.
This trip was very good but not as exceptional as before. The service was slow. We arrived at 545p and left at 825p. The specials were not as special as normal but still very good. The same for the crime brûlée which is my favorite there- this night just good. I usually go on the weekend but this trip was on a Tues- maybe the A- Team wasn’t there that night but I’m not complaining. Still a nice night
Was somewhat disappointed. It took out waitress awhile to get to us and was surprised she didn’t talk with us about specials and daily’s while we waited on wine. I will say there’s no shortage on attention removing plates the bus staff was very attentive and prob the best part. The side choices are dull and disappointing our steaks over salted ...and I love salt but couldn’t eat much of my steak bc it was so salty The daily vegetable was asparagus that was extremely large and under cooked ...hard as sticks. The whipped potatoes were flavorless I will say the chocolate cake was delicious I should have skipped dinner and gone straight for dessert . I must say for out bill of $560 ($360 in good $200 in wine ) for a party of 3 I think there are much better options and I wouldn’t return. Sorry Langdons we so wanted to love it bc your so much closer than downtown but it just wasn’t all that.
Excellent food choices. We tried different menu items tonight and were delighted in our choices!
As always, Langdon’s Oysters Rockefeller and Champagne are the best anywhere in the world! They make every special occasion more special! Shrimp and stone ground grits was very good and Pasta Bolognese is also very good. We celebrate special occasions at Langdon’s with the Warm Chocolate Cake too!! Mmmm!
Wonderful experience starting with the most outstanding hostess who accomodated every request. Oysters Rockerfeller out if this world, crispy steak perfectly prepared and excellent wine selection.
Great service, great food.....as always!!!
Very good food. A little slow but waitress was wonderful.
Delightful meal and experience . The raw oysters were fresh, cold, and briny with horseradish cocktail sauce. The house special salad of ripe and juicy strawberries with arugula and creamy cheese was so fresh and light, we wanted another! And the main entree - the Hawaiian tuna- lived up to all expectations. All in all, a lovely dinner!
We love going to Langdon’s for all our special events. I feel you can be assured your meal and service is consistently excellent. I don’t think you could find anything better around.
Living only a few miles from Langdon's it is my neighborhood absolute favorite. It has become my 'go to' choice when trying to decide which Charleston eatery to choose. I like to eat at the bar sometimes reading or chatting with others as well as special events like celebrating my 88 year old father's birthday, it's perfect for both. Always consistent in it's offerings and presentation, the service is also way above average with knowledgeable servers and managers.
Lately I've had some difficulty getting reservations when wanted/needed. Guess everyone is taking advantage of my favorite Mt Pleasant restaurant.
I have never had a bad experience at Langdon's. It is among my favorite restaurants, if not my favorite, in the Charleston area.
Great Soft Shell Crab!
Fixed to perfection!
Fabulous steak and fresh asparagus!
Fine dining all the way!
oysters and filet were delicious. impeccable service
There are not enough good words to describe the Langdon's experience -- Benjamin was responsive, wine list varied, food tasty and the dessert exquisite. We had the crudo appetizers (Opa), orange soy salmon, pasta dish and the chocolate cake and apple crisp. We'll come back again and again!
Langdons is extremely noisy but the room is nice and the service was very good. My wife and I recently had dinner at Rue de John in Charleston and ordered the same 2 appetizers in both places. Rue de John was much better. The pork belly in Langdons was served in tiny pieces and the goat cheese was sprinkled on the arugala whilst Rue de John's goat cheese was a large deep fried Ball. So for our money no more Langdons for us. By the way the bill at Rue de John was $ 50 less for much better food.
We enjoyed our visit. The food and service were excellent.
Just the best food and staff anywhere!
My burger was the best antwhere
They have one of the best steaks that money can buy in Mt Pleasant.
Dinner was delicious as usual but today unusually the service was incredibly bad we waited too long between servings.
The food, was excellent. Unfortunately the service was not great. Our server was very good and did keep checking on us, but i think the problem is the kitchen. Maybe not enough staff in kitchen. We stayed and enjoyed the food, but did see some people leave before they could get their meal.
Another spectacular meal at Langdons.. everything was cooked to perfection- the Fois Gras with Apple, Tilefish over risotto, and the Asian tuna are all so amazing. Highly recommend...
Langdon’s, to me, is not a typical, Charleston restaurant.....since my first time dining there I have found the food top drawer, well prepared and service most professional and gracious....although there is a variety of menu items. I consider the specialty good quality meats prepared to perfection....I believe the wine selection is one of the best for this type of restaurant...it is a memorable fine dining experience......
The food was excellent. The Hawaiian Tuna melted in my mouth.
Everything was great. Highly recommended. Something on menu for everyone, great bread!
Started with the appetizer special which was mushroom with crabmeat. It was fabulous - itcwas portioned with plenty of crabmeat and the flavor was perfect. We both had the golden tile special and it was even better than the soup. Cooked perfectly and the sauce was excellent.
We finished with crepe brûlée and it was the best I’ve ever had. The only thing better than our dinner was the service- it was a great evening and we will return again soon
Hidden gem in Mt Pleasant. Langdon's never disappoints. One of the top places in Mt Pleasant.
Great food. Expensive wine bordering on too expensive. With tip and dessert, wine, entree and appetizer plan on $200 for a couple.
good food tastefully seasoned. the portions, considering the prices, leaned towards very small
Opal gives you more for your money
