About Langdon's Restaurant
Langdon's Restaurant and Wine Bar is located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, just across the Cooper River from the historic city of Charleston. Chef and owner Patrick Langdon Owens has taken Lowcountry cooking to a different level. Crispy local grouper served atop brie grits with applewood smoked bacon chardonnay basil cream or pepper crusted tuna over baby greens with avocado relish and wasabi-topped with fried leeks are just two of the many wonderful selections that are featured at Langdon's Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Langdon's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We were there for our anniversary. (41yrs). The food was very good. We had the pear salad, asparagus /bacon soup, Tuna and fish of the day (Tile fish). Shared a warm chocolate cake for desert. and coffee. Everything we had was delicious, and presented beautifully.
Our server was polite and professional. The atmosphere was great, we had a 8pm seating and were not rushed, everything came in a timely manner. We will go there again and bring out of town guests.
Service was excellent right from the moment we walked in. Seated and Victoria was very attentive. Ordered and the food was really good. Shrimp and grits very good. Grouper special on a bed of grits, outstanding! Wine selection was plentiful. Will visit again soon.
This is still our favorite restaurant. the food is always great, staff friendly and know all the food on the menu . We are only 20-25 mins from downtown Charleston, but this is so easy to get too and park. Our waitress this time was great. It was a birthday celebration and we had a birthday card from the restaurant and a each of us had a complimentary glass of champagne. Just wonderful time. Highly recommend it. The bar is lovely too if you just want to sit there and get a bite to eat. Thank you for a great evening.
My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Langdon's. We had a wonderful dinner and our servers Victoria and Jason were attentive and very pleasant. We have dined at many fine restaurants and Langdon's is now on our" best of" list.
Thanks for making an important event a special evening.
Restaurant very kindly had birthday card waiting at our table, based on our reservation. And at the end of the meal, our server brought home-made gelato with a candle to the birthday girl. However, we weren't greeted/asked for a drink order for 20 minutes after sitting down. 2 of the 3 of us ordered a beverage. It took 10 minutes to get the iced-tea and our server forgot the glass of wine. So initial service, when the restaurant was busy, was very slow and not as expected. Once the crowd died down, the service improved.
As always, Langdon's provided the perfect combination of food, ambiance and elegance that is so important for significant dining /business/get-together occasions. Service is always top notch - not too much involvement/correct timing when service is needed. Will go back again and again, especially as it's in my neighborhood and always enjoyed by my guests.
Drove 4 1/2 hours for a weekend in Charleston. The highlight of our trip was dinner at Langdon's. My husband had the center cut filet and I had the Hawaiian Tuna with the Asian slaw. A bite of tuna with the slaw and the avocado and Ginger vinaigrette was a mouth watering delight. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. My husband and I are still savoring the flavors and talking about our dinner. Our waiter (wish I would remember his name) recommended the wine and it was a perfect pairing. Although I really hate to write this for fear that everyone in the world will be having dinner at Langdon's and we may have to make a reservation a year in advance, we absolutely loved our dinner and will happily drive 4 1/2 hours for a return visit to Langdon's.
