The cuisine at Langdon Hall starts with looking out our kitchen windows. It is inspired by the seasons, wild produce growing in abundance on the property and the bounty of our kitchen gardens. Relationships have been built with our community farmers, foragers and artisans who hold similar beliefs of providing wholesome natural products that have been prepared with care and respect.

We create dishes with purpose, embraced with a story behind each relationship and provide a taste of the terroir of Langdon Hall. All the ingredients combined, create an experience like no other, so grand, so captivating that it is impossible to forget. As the seasons change, the menu changes to reflect the reaps of the harvest.

Join us Sunday, May 4th in our Firshade event space from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for Afternoon Tea. Spend the afternoon with us and enjoy delicious tea, savoury and sweet delights and sparkling. Non-alcoholic sparkling will be available as well. Afternoon Tea is $95.00 plus taxes and gratuities, per person. This is a pre-paid event with limited space so don't delay booking for you and your friends! Please note, this event takes place in our Firshade event space, not the Main House. This is a non-refundable event. Any allergies can be noted when making your reservation and we will be happy to accommodate.

We invite you to join us Sunday, May 11th to celebrate all the special women in our lives. Held in the Firshade Hall, our buffet will feature local, fresh ingredients and will include seasonal salads, glazed vegetables, roasted meats, decadent desserts and other brunch favourites. Tickets for adults are $130.00 + taxes and gratuities per person. For children ages 4-10, tickets are $63.00 + taxes and gratuities per person. Children under the age of 3 are free. Please note, this is a pre-paid event. This payment is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person.

Who says we can only do a music series in the summer? We are thrilled to welcome back Greg Wyard for an evening of music and delicious food. Join us Friday, May 23rd for a Beatles themed performance by Greg Wyard, accompanied by a three-course menu. Doors open at 6:30pm, with dinner service beginning promptly at 7:15pm. Greg's set will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. For the first half of his set, Greg will play Beatles hits and for the second half, he will take your requests! A Langdon Hall team member will be in touch after booking to collect dinner pre-selects and any allergies or dietary restriction. Tickets are $110.00 plus taxes and gratuities per person. Please note, your ticket does not include alcohol, which will be available for purchase the night of the event. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person. We hope to see you there!

Unfortunately Landon Hall totally missed the mark for this Afternoon Tea. From the uninspiring conference room (tea is not served in the beautiful main building) to the cranberry jam and non-existent clotted cream the whole event was a disappointment. No loose leaf, no wait staff checking on us for top ups on hot water, the instrumental Christmas music playing in the background…So many great things to say about Langdon Hall but none apply to their Afternoon Tea.

The food was excellent! Lovely ambience with food & music. The musician was very entertaining and engaged really throughout the evening. My only critique is that when offering tea or coffee that is should be served relatively close to dessert being served. I was asked & ordered coffee but it was 45 minutes later when they actually placed an empty cup on the table. At that point dessert had been cleared away & the evening program was 5 minutes from ending. So didn’t end up having coffee.

The Winter House is one of our favourite experiences every year. It’s so cozy. The new menu items were amazing this year. Thank you!

The setting was drab so grey not pleasing. The service was good, and the food was good but nothing special. The scones were too similar and he sandwiches okay. I would not have booked if known that it would not be in main house!

We were very excited for our reservation and we were aware we’d be on a ‘heated’ patio; however, the reservation mentioned the dress code was ‘business casual’. No where online while making the reso did it mention to dress warm. We froze our butts off. I will definitely try to make another reservation and I will be bringing a warmer coat, a toque and gloves. The food and service was fantastic.

I took my husband here to lift his spirts, he is going through some health concerns.I wanted to love this experience however I failed to realize the winter house at Langdon Hall is completely outside and we were dressed for an indoor environment. Our server was absolutely wonderful, even in the cold she was extremely attentive. The food presentation was really nice, the taste however was extremely salty. I hope to bring him back in a much warmer setting and give it another try!

The staff was very attentive, and service at the Winter House was wonderful. And the food? Absolutely delicious, and always beautifully plated. A fun experience for our Valentine's Day outing!
