The cuisine at Langdon Hall starts with looking out our kitchen windows. It is inspired by the seasons, wild produce growing in abundance on the property and the bounty of our kitchen gardens. Relationships have been built with our community farmers, foragers and artisans who hold similar beliefs of providing wholesome natural products that have been prepared with care and respect.

We create dishes with purpose, embraced with a story behind each relationship and provide a taste of the terroir of Langdon Hall. All the ingredients combined, create an experience like no other, so grand, so captivating that it is impossible to forget. As the seasons change, the menu changes to reflect the reaps of the harvest.

We invite you to join us for yoga and a mimosa! We will be offering a restorative yoga class, followed by a delicious mimosa at 10:00am on Mondays and Fridays from June 30th to August 25th. This experience is complimentary for overnight guests*, or $35.00 plus tax for an outside guest. Join us Sunday, June 29th in our Firshade event space from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for Afternoon Tea. Spend the afternoon with us and enjoy delicious tea, savoury and sweet delights and sparkling. Non-alcoholic sparkling will be available as well. Afternoon Tea is $95.00 plus taxes and gratuities, per person. This is a pre-paid event with limited space so don't delay booking for you and your friends! Please note, this event takes place in our Firshade event space, not the Main House. This is a non-refundable event. Any allergies can be noted when making your reservation and we will be happy to accommodate.

Growing up in Cambridge and living right down the street from Langdon Hall, I had never had the opportunity to visit so, as a Mother's Day gift to our mother, we booked the High Tea. I was extremely disappointed to find out on arrival that our event was not in the actual house! The only reason I booked it was to finally have the pleasure of sitting and enjoying the atmosphere and history in one of the rooms in the house. Instead, we were put into a conference type room with no ambiance. It had no special character to it at all. I felt like I was in a gymnasium and it wasn't intimate. To top it off, our tea was luke warm! The food was lovely but I wouldn't recommend this event to anyone as the location took away the whole experience unfortunately.

Great experience - some artwork on the walls of the space may make it seem like a factory though! Food was great. The scones are massive - fills you up to the point of not being able to finish the rest of the yummies.

We found the venue very noisy. We could hardly hear the server explain the food that was being served. Conversation was very difficult with the party sitting directly across the table. The scones were dry. The sandwiches were delicious. We enjoyed the desserts as well. The tea selection was excellent. We would not return due to the venue being so noisy.

Unfortunately Landon Hall totally missed the mark for this Afternoon Tea. From the uninspiring conference room (tea is not served in the beautiful main building) to the cranberry jam and non-existent clotted cream the whole event was a disappointment. No loose leaf, no wait staff checking on us for top ups on hot water, the instrumental Christmas music playing in the background…So many great things to say about Langdon Hall but none apply to their Afternoon Tea.

The food was excellent! Lovely ambience with food & music. The musician was very entertaining and engaged really throughout the evening. My only critique is that when offering tea or coffee that is should be served relatively close to dessert being served. I was asked & ordered coffee but it was 45 minutes later when they actually placed an empty cup on the table. At that point dessert had been cleared away & the evening program was 5 minutes from ending. So didn’t end up having coffee.

The Winter House is one of our favourite experiences every year. It’s so cozy. The new menu items were amazing this year. Thank you!

The setting was drab so grey not pleasing. The service was good, and the food was good but nothing special. The scones were too similar and he sandwiches okay. I would not have booked if known that it would not be in main house!
