Unfortunately the restaurant was like the resort.... The website look great, however the real thing was very lackluster. They failed to mention that they were not licensed "yet" when I booked. And there was no updates or communication since my booking in February. I'm not adverse to bring my own alcohol but it would have been nice to know before I got there. It was just very underwhelming and not organized very well.

The food at Lands8fifty is nothing but 5 star. This was my 2nd visit and everything we had was amazing. The presentation was outstanding. Elise, Hugo & Drew were top notch in service and cooking. I will definitely be going back as it is only a 15 minute drive from out cottage.

Due to 50% operational capacity currently, it was hard to reach out to them by phone but still drove the 200kms from Newmarket and luckily found everything was open. The property is beautiful and the restaurant has a very beautiful setting. The building itself has a Nordic design character to it and it overall feels amazing. The staff and host were amazing and the food was exquisite. The only thing we missed was alcohol as we didn't do the research and ended up missing the BYOB sign on their website. Anyway, we were quite impressed overall. The food and overall services are quite on the pricey side though. Consider this place to be a sort of a fine dining venue. We had 1 entrée, 2 mains, a dessert and a coffee without any other drinks and the bill incl gratuity ended up close to $150.

We can't wait to be back, the food is unbelievable. Everything about it down to the garnish, I felt lucky to be getting this consistency, usually there is one stand out meal on a weekend getaway. At Nomi everything meal was perfect. Thanks to Elise, Hugo, Andrew beyond excited to be back and try a summer stay.

Food was definitely top shelf. We had the pleasure of meeting the executive chef. A very impressive guy who, rightfully so, was very proud of the menu. Can’t wait to go again.

Everything was outstanding. Chef came out and spoke with us. We were greeting by a warm and friendly smile. The menu was just enough to choose and not too much. We finished off with Crème Brule that was a generous size. I am a foodie and this was at the top of my list. You have to go and see for yourself.

My wife and I can’t say enough about having 3 dinners in a row here. Amazing service quiet atmosphere. And the food was out of this world and extremely tasty and stylish. Every plate that we ordered was so designed that we just wanted to take pictures of it and not want to touch it. We would definitely recommended dining here if you’re in the area or even if you’re not. Take the drive. Again THANKYOU to Elise and chefs and Derrick for all your hard work and amazing venue.

The food was excellent but the decor of the restaurant and resort are in desperate need of to modernization as both had poor quality furnishings and were sparsely decorated - there were only 2 other patrons there during our stay which contributed to the desolate feeling. With some attention and much needed investment this venue could be very nice. Unfortunately, for the price we paid we were hugely disappointed with the value we received and will not be returning anytime soon.
