Landry's Seafood House - The Woodlands
Awesome food and our server Austin was very nice and knowledgeable!
Not recommended for holidays, we did not know that it was buffet. The food was terrible. We were placed at a table in a room furthest from the buffet. I made reservations a week in advance. My parents are in their late 70's so it was difficult for them. We love Landry's, but our experience this time was not up to par.
We were not impressed with the dessert table. It was very limited at the time we were there otherwise the food and service was great
Mother’s Day buffet was nothing to brag about, typical buffet with food that was prepared too far in advance. Definitely would not book again.
The prom couple had a wonderful meal. Best fried shrimp they had ever eaten.
The food is very good. But, today the salad did not look fresh. The view of the lake was excellent. I would re in end it. The place could be 5 star except for things.
Great service and our waitress was amazing!
Great dinner and service!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience dining Al Fresco. Overlooking the fountain and enjoying a yummy cocktail was amazing. Ordered the pan seared sea bass and as always it was delish. Our waiter Ray was Johnny on the spot on service.
Loud distracting atmosphere. Hideous green carpet and walls. Our waitress knew nothing about wine. We were both served fish that had clearly been frozen. The mahi was rubbery and the sea bass tough. Vegetables were undercooked. Everything tasteless and overpriced. I’ll never go back.
It was perfect except the screaming toddler at the table beside us.
Service was slow and food was not that great. The drinks were awesome. My husband asked if the stuffed flounders was a whole flounder or fillets. They said it was the whole flounder. Wrong! He got small fillets covering some type of stuffing. Actually the fillets were so small that I doubted they were actually flounder since flounder is a big fish. The weather was great and we were sitting outside so that made it better
Always a great meal here. Consistent and reliable!
Landry’s is a good but not great restaurant. The food and selection are good but not exceptional.
Great place, great food. Would have preferred a quieter evening but there was a wedding, good blessings on the happy couple.
Great service by Steven. Food always great! Wish crawfish was a little bit longer in season for Landry’s!
I often enjoy going to Landry’s for the pre fixe menu (if we are dining early) and think it’s a great deal and tasty. This last visit was different. All the items seemed less, smaller, or not as good. The shrimp were really small on the plank shrimp and the salad seemed really sparse. But the major difference is that you used to get a full size dessert, either the bread pudding or cream brûlée. Now they have scaled it down to more of a half portion and the brûlée is made in a deep cup rather than the traditional shallow dish. It was disappointing and will give me pause to go there as freely as I used to.
Our meal at Landry's was disappointing. We ordered oysters on the half shell and were dismayed that they were served stacked so that the dirty shells were in contact with the oyster meat. We also found shells in our oysters, which a properly shucked oyster should never have. Then they didn't have any anchovies to place on my Caesar salad, which every good restaurant will always have on hand. Next, we had to wait an additional twenty minutes after my entree was served to receive my wife's entree because her order was never put into the kitchen. We were also deeply disappointed by their Bananas Foster because it wasn't flambe and their recipe used crepes, which I found repulsive. Finally, their menu lists the price of gluten free trout to be $18 but they attempted to charge us $29 for it; my wife noticed the overcharge and I made them remove it. This was my first, and last ever, meal at Landry's.
We had a wonderful dinner and our server Todd was Excellent!
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. I highly recommend the blackened salmon.
Yes, Brandon our server was wonderful, and very attentive. Everything was very clean. The entire staff was very hospitable and professional. This was my guest first time ever being at a Landry's, he truly enjoyed everything. Especially the food and ambiance. I especially enjoyed the waterway view as well. A very nice & peaceful luncheon! I and my guest will definitely refer Landry's Woodlands to everyone! A very happy customer for life!!! Landry's You Rock!😎😎😎 A.M.E.
Great food, great view!
Food is overpriced and mediocre. Service was awful and mixed drinks were actually overpriced non alcoholic beverages. If it wasn’t for location we wouldn’t go at all.
Always a great experience - good food, great service, had a nice table too
We went for Easter lunch, honestly the food was terrible. I would just avoid this all together, there are far better seafood chains in the area.
Food and staff were outstanding
Great all the way around.
Great drinks and apps. Excellent service. I had an issue with my fish being over cooked and both the waitress and manager were very friendly and professional about it. The manager stopped by the table (unasked for-we were quite happy with the server response) to assure me he knew of the issue and that the order was being re-fired as a 911. They turned a negative into a positive. We will be back!
Great location, especially outside on sunny cool days, evenings.
Thanks for a great evening. Wonderful food and enjoyable atmosphere.
The food and scenery was great! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner and or waitress was amazing!
The food was great. The setting was nice and the prices were reasonable. Definitely would visit again.
Celebrated my 21st birthday and got outstanding service from our waiter! Definitely will be going back but during happy hour

Excellent night. We will be back soo n . Service was wonderful and food was awesome. Mmmm loved it
Our waiter was DJ. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The food is great and the service is outstanding.
Best lobster bisque in The Woodlands!
Our server, Michela, was great! She was very friendly and thorough, asking about whether we were members of the diners club and left a pamphlet covering same, She described the features of the day and when we ordered she said back our choices making sure she had understood what we wanted. Our meals were spot on. After dinner she asked us about desert which we declined. I always enjoy dining with you and will continue to do so when I am in the Woodlands.
