Our visit, on 04/21/18, was to celebrate my wife's birthday. She had an great time...due in large part to our server, FREDDY! Freddy is an AWESOME server, one that Landry's should do everything to keep. We never wanted for anything at our table. He clocked our table every time he walked by. He had great appetizer and main course suggestions. He took our leftovers, boxed them up, and kept them in the kitchen for us so as not to use up our table space. Good servers are an important part of my wife's dinning experience. She thoroughly enjoyed her dinner and Freddy's service...Thanks Freddy!
The snapper that was advertised as fresh tasted old. Definitely not fresh fish. And it was slightly burnt as well, making the overall dish a complete bust. The ponchartrain sauce on top was "just ok", nothing special. It lacked butter for one.
There's really no need to ever return to the restaurant as there are much better options at a similar or better price point.
We arrived a bit early for our reservation and we were greeted by some of the management staff who directed us to our hostess. We were again greeted with smiles as we were shown to our table. It was a special occasion, everyone was aware, and said "Happy Birthday"!
Our server, Thomas, was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu. He was extremely attentive without being overbearing.
We ordered an appetizer and then our main course. We were not rushed and the courses came out with plenty of time between each, allowing us to enjoy them.
Our main courses were, as Gordon Ramsey would say, "cooked to perfection". Fish flakey, moist and delicate. Absolute joy!
Great food. Awesome service staff. Attentive manager. All around great place to go.
We went to Landry’s on a quiet Sunday evening. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was very kind and made a great recommendation for an off-menu appetizer (fried zucchini). She also recommended the salmon chef’s special. My husband ordered a similar salmon dish based on her recommendation and based off the asparagus that comes with the salmon. Twenty minutes later, she informed us that the restaurant ran out of salmon and suggested a different fish plate for my husband. Since my husband originally ordered his plate because of the asparagus side, she offered to substitute the asparagus with his new dish. Upon arrival of the bill, we noticed she charged us for an asparagus side dish. We felt that since she said she would substitute the asparagus side —and since the restaurant ran out of salmon for his original order— we shouldn’t have been charged for the extra asparagus side dish. The food overall was okay, nothing special. For the price you can get better for else where.
It was excellent like always. Every time I go here I'm glad I did.
We went here Saturday for lunch, it was our first time at this location having been a Landry's customer in other states. I thought it was beautifully decorated, very clean and inviting. The manager was extremely friendly and sat us right away. Our server, JoJo was very attentive and efficient and conversational. She made our dining experience very positive and enjoyable. We ordered off the lunch menu and I was expecting the portions to be considerably smaller than the dinner but I was completely surprised by the quantity of food. See picture attached. I had the fried seafood platter, my wife had the fish and chips. We also ordered an appetizer of the seafood stuffed jalapenos. That combined with the tasty garlic bread and large salad left us very full. I was happy that mine came with fried oysters. I LOVE fried oysters. The food was delicious in every way. The only thing I didn't care too much for were the hush puppies (kind of doughy) but extremely minor compared to all else. I am always ecstatic when I leave a restaurant and I feel satisfied all around and Landry's did not fail me. Next time we want to sit out on the patio by the waterway, it was too cold this time around.
Way too noisy, hard to converse. Otherwise I really enjoyed it.
Savannah did an excellent job
My wife and I sat at the bar and ate our meal, we were pleased with the Astros and Rockets games both being televised. The food was on point and came quickly and piping hot! Appetizer was boiled crawfish, meal was blackened Snapper with King Crab side and seafood topping. Everything was fantastic.
The price was a bit high for my taste but We was enjoying a gift certificate so it didn’t matter. Had We not had the gift certificate I would not have ordered as much due to high cost. High marks overall, we will be back!
The food was the delicious and wait staff excellent. The best part is that you can actually visit and it is not very noisy.
Great service and delicious food.
Outstanding service and food was better than ever at this location.
The service was very good and our dinners were delicious
Waiter was good. Wait was too long and my food was undercooked. Never got my open table points or the correct Landry points. Very disappointed.
We have eaten here before and had much better experiences. I don't know if it's because it was a holiday or because it's been a while since we have eaten here, but the entire experience was disappointing. They were running late with their reservations, we couldn't order off the brunch menu like we were told we could, the server was very busy and therefore very forgetful and the food was not worth the cost. We expect more from the Landry's family of restaurants.
The food and service is always great. I love the way the restaurant looks inside , it's beautifully decorated and welcoming.
Easter brunch menu was great and Savanah our waitress was superb. The ambiance and waterway make a great setting and you never feel rushed.
My only regret was forgetting to use my Landry's Card for points credit and you can't get credit for your visit after you leave.
Easter Sunday and everything was great
As always, excellent service and food!! Love Landry’s!!
I asked for a booth/quite place in the corner (if possible) and let them know I was on a date. From the moment I walked in to the time I left they made my dining experience and date ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL! They had a corner booth (beautiful!) reserved and it was really quite. The hostess sat us promptly and with a great attitude. Both, the waitress and manager were super friendly, attentive, professional, and AWESOME! Our food was delicious (thanks chef!) and came out in a timely manner. The ambiance was very romantic and (again) it was an overall magical experience due to the attentiveness of all the staff and the great location and decor! Best dining experience EVER! Will most definitely be back!
Landry's is an excellent place to Celebrate special occasions!
Food was fresh and hot. Took quite awhile to get our cocktails though
The food was good, but the service was exceptional. Our server, Camryn went out of her way the birthday lunch for my mother-in-law special. Nice ambiance, good food and exceptional service.
I had an excellent experience and my waiter/waitress was amazing! I went with the stuffed flounder, it was definitely a go to dish!
Always great service and good food in a casual environment. Also, great for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
Love the crab cakes (real crab meat) that they have on special for the day. Their fried shrimp is getting better with their breading along with the onion ring haystack.
As usual our food was delicious. We enjoyed the sea bass with ponchtrain topping, mahi mahi with shrimp skewer and cedar planked salmon.
Lovely evening spent with family.
It was my wife and I's 18th anniversary we could think of a better place to spend it than Landry's and as usual they delivered. We had a wonderful time and a great meal thank you Landry's
Server was quick and personable. Food as described and delicious. Try the crawfish bread!
Beautiful restaurant, but freezing cold and loud. We've been there on a Saturday night and it was packed with families.
The menu sounds great, but I was disappointed with the result. Totally overpriced for the value. I'd rather go to McCormick's and get a decent Ahi Tuna Steak!
we had our reservation and we wait for 20 minutes because the table was not ready ... the food was terrible for the price ... I would not recommended!
Birthday celebration. Service was very slow
food was good, it was a bummer that they couldn't find my Landry's info under my name and number! Lost $90 worth of points.
Food was very good, the snapper a bit dry. Service excellent
Our server, Thomas, was attentive and polite. He exhibited a warmth and sincerity and gave us a truly great dining experience.
I took my boyfriend out for Valentine's day. It was really nice! The waiter was great and they food was better!! We have decided to let it become our NEW "spot" and creating a reservation was SO EASY. I love it!! You can dress up or down here. And the price for the food was under $50, including drinks!! Can't beat that, at all!
Place was great. Amazing food and amazing people. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to so far.
Tried a new (to me) entree. The chicken Romano. It was excellent!
The meal was excellent and the service was great. We go there for special occasions and are always pleased.
