Landry's Seafood House - The Woodlands Ratings and Reviews
Our food for a table of 10, and yes we had a reservation, was brought out for half of the table and then the other half except for one plate that came about 10 minuets later. The quality of the food is NOT what it has been over the past several years. We
were very disappointed.
Several of us are also Landry’s club members.
The stuffed flounder is excellent and is a good size portion, making it a reasonable value. My wife had the crab cake stuffed lobster tails. She like it a lot but didn't really feel it was a good value. Atmosphere was nice although a bit noisy. Some better acoustics might make it more comfortable on busy nights.
We went to Landrys for our New Years Eve dinner, and it was wonderful as usual. I had the chefs recommended redfish stuffed with crawfish stuffing, and it was delicious. My husband had His favorite, fried shrimp, and he said it was a delicious as always. We love Landrys for the food and for the service. Andrew took excellent care of us, and made our date night great. This is one of our go-to places for a date.
$30 steak was tiny and unseasoned. The waiter offered Cesar salad as option, but didn't say it would be $10 more. Will go back to Fogo for next special occasion or Saltgrass for every day dinners. Not worth the $200 spent here. Very disappointed Landry's select member
Enjoyed the meals.
I had grilled stuffed red fish and friend had grilled salmon.
We split key lime pie which was really good.
Tables are nicely laid out and fancy.
Greeters were very friendly.
Expensive for 2 as it was $71 bill.
So only go for special occasions due to expense.
Reserve red table for Christmas Day.
Reservations were easy and went smooth.
Restaurant called to verify reservation and remind me which was nice.
I called restaurant to verify my reservation went thru okay and it had.
So overall good experience getting a table on Christmas Day.
We went very late for lunch, just before happy hour and ordered from the dinner menu. Two adults ordered the flounder, stuffed with shrimp and a beverage. There was a single half fish or a whole fish choice; the whole was 4 bucks more so we just ordered that and split it. The food was extremely well presented, tasty and timely. The waiter was knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere was enhanced with a great window view of the bay in front of the restaurant, perfect setting for fish! I was very impressed. The flounder was so large we got a doggy bag after splitting between 2 adult men, and I had a great feast the next day at home, to boot. I'll be back.
Landry's as always serves fresh, excellent seafood well prepared. Our server was polite, friendly, and always there at the points where we needed him. We had a good chance to visit with our friends, and the welcome was pleasant and genuine. There was adequate parking.
Our waitress was wonderful. Knew the products and did not seemed rushed or aggravated when asked to explain what was in a particular dish. We both tried something we had not tried before. Seafood platter was OK - etouffee was wonderful, and gumbo, bisque was amazing.
We celebrated our Thanksgiving at Landry’s. They had a wonderful buffet with all the Thanksgiving traditional foods along with a seafood section and kids section. The dining room was packed but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the Landry’s staff made sure everything was perfect.
This is the third year we had our family Thanksgiving at Landry’s in The Woodlands. They took us on time for our reservation, which was improvement from past 2 years. We enjoy the selection of foods, quality of food, wait staff was good, and good environment. We all work full time, so love that we have more time together & not stressing about cooking and cleaning. Thank you Landry’s!
We had a very nice dining experience and both meals were above average. Waitress was accommodating. The best was the bar tender and manager Jose who went above and beyond to address a problem. It tells you a lot about a restaurant's interests when they add the personal touch!
