Great place to dine but not liking the limited menu choices they now have. Pretty pricey but great food.
The food and drinks here are really good but that's where it ends. The service here is not only very slow but also very poor. First, we waited for an hour even with reservations. When we did get seated we waited another 10-15 minutes. Then we ordered food and didn't see our waitress for almost an hour. When our food did come it came all at once. An entire four course meal (appetizers, soup, salad, main course) over $250 all at once. I ordered a steak and was never asked for a temperature. We were offered bread that never came, we had to ask three separate times. I was supposed to get dessert with my meal and again the waitress was totally confused and had to go triple check. She was super nice and very sweet but also completely unprepared to work a Saturday night at this kind of restaurant.
SIDE NOTE: We were sat next to a couple with a screaming infant and a toddler who decided to stand in his chair facing us the entire time and practice his monster noises. If it was a Tuesday night at Applebee's then whatever but come on. When other people are spending $300 between drinks and dinner get a baby sitter or stay home. I mean really.
For the price we all felt we should leave feeling full. The main course was delicious. The sides were very small portions. For $90 a couple we all expected a bit more. The restrooms were dirty.
Our family of three adults had a lovely and delicious early dinner on Saturday before Mothers Day. We all had a mothers day three course which was amazing, well timed and served perfectly! We were especially pleased with the mask policy and the tables were well spaced I felt very safe.
All in all as always we had a delightful experience!!!
Celebrating Mother's Day at Landry's has been a tradition for our family. We could not have been happier with the food, service and overall experience of dining out at a great place again.
Our waitress Sydney (unsure of spelling) was AMAZING! Very prompt and as sweet as can be. Though the manager on duty should work on speaking more politely and discreetly to her team. Sydney was busy tending to my 8 person party as well as her other tables on a busy Saturday before mothers day. Instead of her manager giving a little assistance by sweeping around an table not yet hosting customers, she made a point to speak very loudly over my entire table to address Sydney for the task. Teamwork is always a great thing to see, but Sydney still handled it with grace, finishing with us and tending to the necessary trash.
Definitely Nerd Approved 🤓!
I was expecting something different but they sure surprise me on the gumbo and price. Totally worth it 👌
Wasn’t the best experience I’ve had at this particular location. Food was cool and had to send it back to get it heated up. Service started very slow but picked up by the end of the night.
Food quality and preparation/presentation have slipped a bit. Basic side salad previously was included with most entrees, now an "add-on" item. Overall, still a nice choice for an enjoyable meal.
The Tilapia was tough and bland. Sauteed spinach was fair. We mentioned that it was our anniversary when making reservations but it was not acknowledged. Cedar plank Salmon and rice pilaf were good.
Great service! Great food. This was an absolutely great visit.
The food was nothing special, average at best. My salmon on a cedar plank was not properly grilled and no seasoning was applied. They no longer offer baked potatoes, which was a major disappointment. In the past this was one of our favorite restaurants.
We were celebrating a birthday with friends and really enjoyed our time in the bar before moving to our table. Once seated the fun continued with excellent drinks, appetizers and entrees. Everybody was very pleased with the food choices and service provided!
We celebrated my husband’s birthday. The food, service and ambiance was great! They even served the birthday cake I brought in.
Snapper and redfish were both excellent. Server was efficient. Nice to eat somewhere that still has white table cloths on the tables.
Our waitress was fantastic! Food was great!!
It is often difficult to find the perfect place to eat for my family. One is a steak eater, one is crazy for seafood, and the third loves new ideas that are well done. Landry's did it all. The steak was perfectly cooked, moist and tender. The scallops for my daughter and I were precisely grilled and well-flavored. The lobster bisque, for all of us, was divine with a very subtle sherry flavor. The service was efficient, quiet, and friendly. Keep it up Landry's.
After 13 month w/o getting in a restaurant and after the vaccine, it was the best experience I had
The food was very good and our server Kathleen was very good. However, I took her on a side to asked for a birthday piece of cake and a candle for my wife. She politely made me aware that there were no more free birthday cakes and I told her it was not a problem. I am not sure who’s fault it was but the piece of cake was delivered to our table by another server while we were still in our main course and not candle . My wife promptly told him we haven’t order that. It truly ruined the happy surprise.
Party of 4 with friends
Food was great. Glad we made reservations, we only had to wait 10 minutes as apposed to 1 1/2 hours. Our waiter had a Spanish accent, kind of hard to understand but he was wearing a mask.
Food was excellent.
this was our first date night out in awhile. the waiter was awesome. THe food was amazing.
I would definitely recommend.
Easter dinner. Came with my 96 y/o dad. Safe choice.
It's not fine dining, but a reliable choice. I'll be back.
Food was excellent! We got there a little before our reservation, however they seated us right away! Pat was our server and he was very attentive and helpful with the menu.
Nice Easter meal with great service and a good amount of food.
Great customer service and terrific food! We go here for all special occasions!
We always enjoy our meals at Landry’s. I will be glad when the menu is normal. Still no baked potatoes
All the fish dishes were dry and seriously overcooked. The add on toppings did not help as they too were dry and short on sauce. Service was ok. For the price one would think that a specialty seafood restaurant would be more adept at properly preparing the seafood.
Always love our experiences here!
Loved sitting outdoors
A friend and I went in for lunch and really enjoyed the food and our server, Guy, was great!
Excellent meal and wait staff were attentive. Overall enjoyed the meal, and ambiance
We loved Austin our waiter. Right away he told us about the chef’s special. He was very knowledgeable and helpful getting us what we ordered and asked for. Thanks to the chef for preparing the fried calamari; it was not rock hard or chewy, rather crispy and rightly seasoned on the outside and tender on the inside. My red snapper was terrific; the salad is a lovely mixed greens. The portions were generous. And we loved the garlic loaves- yummy. It was a terrific place for our family to celebrate our parents’ 70th wedding anniversary.
Excellent service with outstanding food!
I gave an overall 3 stars as our waiter Pat was AWESOME! I have not been to Landry's in The Woodlands for at least 5-6 years and was very disappointed with the food. The quality and taste was just not up to par. It used to be very good but something has happened over the years. I am not planning on going back anytime soon.
Our waiter Jason was amazing even with juggling multiple tables. I never felt forgotten about.
Our waiter was incredibly slow and my dinner guests were getting frustrated. This was for my birthday. Food was overall good but our steaks were not cooked as requested and were quite charred so it took away the flavor of a medium rare steak. Definitely was not impressed for the price and the special event. 🥲
