Landry's Seafood House - St Louis
Our service was phenomenal! The host sat us down when we arrived and the waitress did a wonderful job! Food was great and my family enjoyed our meal!
was not a good experience at all. food was not what i expected
Outstanding find in St Louis. Great to sit outside. Our grandson loves the fire display in the fountain.
The meal was ok Not great but not horrible. Maybe a touch overpriced for the quality of meat they use for ribeyes. I would probably not eat here again given other choices in the area just based on the food vs. price standpoint. The service was great and it was a pretty cool place. I’m sure it will look really neat when all the construction around it is done.
Our server was great but service was very slow, as she was the only person working inside. My steak was incorrectly prepared twice.
My experience at Laundry's this past week was fantastic. The occasion was my wife's birthday and it went perfectly. Our waiter Danny as well as our host were most informative. I explained to both that it had been awhile since I was last at Laundry's but would make it a point to return more frequently. That is when they informed me about the loyalty program in which I joined. oh and by the way the food was great.
Thanks again Laundry's!
Two of our fish meals were undercooked. Two were supposed to be blackened and weren’t. Server pretty much disappeared once the plates were brought to our table. It took way too long to get our bill and then get it paid.
We had 7 pm reservations. We did get seated until 720 pm. Manager had no sense of urgency to get us seated, every time we asked about our table he said it will be just a moment. There were several open tables so I don’t understand why we had to wait 20 minutes! There were employees standing around talking to each other including the manager. Once we got seated our waitress was very hospitable & pleasant. The waitress gave us great customer service!
Our waiter was awesome. Food was great. The only drawback was the extra wait after reserving a table for a certain time.
I made a reservation for this place for Mother’s Day because I had a full preplanned day and intended to stick to my schedule. My reservation was for 5:30 and I arrived on time. I was told all reservations were 15 minutes behind schedule. It took 30 minutes to be seated. It took another 15-20 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. By this time we really don’t have time to relax and enjoy an entree without feeling rushed. So we opted for appetizers and soup. After waiting another 10-20 minutes for our food my crawfish bisque came out cold. At this point I am already disgusted by the entire experience. So I said just forget it and I decided to send it back. The crab artichoke dip had absolutely no flavor. The only thing that was good was the oyster trash bar. 1 out of 6 items including our drinks was good and that is terrible! To top it all off they had us and others with reservations waiting when there were tons of empty tables. So I’m not sure why we were waiting at all. The drinks weren’t even good. I spent $80 and enjoyed 1 item. I will never return and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone else either.
We reserved a table and didn’t get seated at the right time.
I know it was mother’s day but we waited almost 2 hours for our food. No manager came over and lots of excuses from the server. Disappointing
Mother’s Day. Our waitress was phenomenal and we had a great Mother’s Day there. Good food and nice atmosphere! Love Union Station location! Wendy was our waitress. Saw fire show outside the window.
I haven't been to Landry's in years but I regret it because the food and service was excellent! I am looking forward to going again. Our server Benton was very attentive to our needs.
Good food and fast service. Great restaurant for a no hassle night out with decent seafood and solid service.
The only problem was construction in the area. Food and services were great.
Service was good. Ambience was great. And my kids (I did too) enjoyed the fire show outside. My only issue was some of the fish was a bit bland..
It took at least 30 min to get our drinks and 45 min our food “was ready to come out” meanwhile I still hadn’t gotten my salad. Needless to say, we left.
The seared scallops plate was very good. However the blackened red snapper look like a piece of leftover fish and it was blackened on only-one one side. Our salads came out before our appetizer. The appetizer was not that great for $9. It took forever for our main dishes to come out and the restaurant was not busy at all. To top everything off our server Rachel although she was very nice, did not even ask us how our meal was or if we needed anything else. We had to ask another server for more water and another drink refill.
We had some family over this weekend, so we took them to Landry’s and we all much enjoyed it.
We sat outside on the back porch and enjoyed the view.
So we will be certainly coming back as long as we stay in St. Louis.
We made a reservation for 10. When we arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty but our table was not ready. We waited approximately 15 minutes for our table. After we sat down, our servers took our drink orders. Some drinks were wrong and when we asked for the correct drinks, they never came. Our dinner took over an hour to be served and many of the plates were missing something requested. One of the children in the party didn’t get their meal until after everyone else had finished eating. The restaurant was not busy and I cannot imagine why the service was so slow.
Food was awesome. The waiter had to apologize 5 times for his slow service.
We waited for 25 minutes for our drinks the first time and 20 mins the 2nd round. We waited for an hour for our meal and then had a buser tell a waiter and a waitress 3 foot fromus they just couldn't do this anymore and quit. Very unprofessional...paid a $120 for our meal shouldn't have this kind of service or atmosphere.
Jamaica the server was the bomb. She was outstanding
I brought my wheelchair-bound, developmentally disabled roommate here, to celebrate Easter Sunday. Neither of us had ever been here before. Parking should have been at a reduced cost or comped, as there were no handicapped accessible parking spaces close to the restaurant, and construction presented a challenge in maneuvering the wheelchair to the restaurant. However, restaurant staff were right there to assist us with entering the restaurant. The food was awesome, and our server was exceptional.
The food quality was high. The serving size was proper as well. As for taste and presentation there is massive room for improvement. Even with only half the tables in use. It took 30 mins just for our drink order to be taken without so much as a glass of water offered. With it taking around an hour for our food order to be taken. Our total meal time from sitting down to leaving was 2 hours 53 mins from our reservation time. The wait staff was great when they could get to you. They knew their menu and items well. They treated our family very well. We had 3 adults and 3 children. The waitress even brought us sone saltines to help tide the children over as they were hungry and this was taking awhile.
Would recommend bringing a snack to hold you over before the appetizers arrive.
Great place. Service, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. The fire and ice show was unique. The price was a bit much for the serving sizes. $100 for 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 2 entrees seems a bit much, and we made sure to stay to the most modestly priced meals.
Nice Birthday dinner and dessert was provided!!
Relative to food quality, overpriced. Spent $100 (incl. tip) for 1 glass of wine and 2 fish entrees, no apps, no dessert. Dined on a Sunday night bc it was close to our hotel and DR was (understandably) empty. I don’t expect much at chain restaurants but this one fell far below my expectations. Over cooked mahi, pimento grits formed into a hardened oval mound on my plate, I cut through it with the side of my fork. On a brighter note, side salad was fresh and crisp. Given the opportunity again, I’d eat from the hotel vending machine.
Shrimp and grits were a little on the small side, but they were delicious. The crab cake was not a $15 crab cake (not enough lump and was not held together well), but it had good seasoning. Despite those things, I would return again.
excellent place for dinner over looking water with a light and fire show, located in the Union station of St LouisFood and service was great. must go to when in the city
We really enjoyed our meal. The food was great. The service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere.
Great job by the staff and wonderful place to eat !!
We went to celebrate my husbands 65th Anniversary. It was a very good experience. Very good starter and entree followed by an excellent dessert but again no Licor 43... and that really goes fabulous with creme brûlée.
We will certainly go back to experience other fish dishes and some more creme brûlée.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. We. Will return.
beautiful view and wonderful service. can't wait to see this area build up
Great service. My shrimp were a little over cooked but the flavor was great. This was our first time here but we’ll definitely be back
Get Food and Location!!
Was out for Justin Timberlake concert with 7 ladies.... Was not overly busy.... Checked in for reservations at 6:10, went to bar to wait for our tables. Once at the bar area no one would serve us or even make eye contact. We'd ask each bartender if they could please help us once finished with what they were doing. Everyone said ask other bartender, 20 mins still no drinks or anyone offering to help us. We are seated for our 6:10pm reservation at 6:30pm, order drinks and food, takes an hour to receive our drinks and 1hr 30min for food. Management seemed to not really care. We asked if he would comp our drinks or bring us another round on the house. He choose to comp our drinks and recommended to not order another round. Still was not very apoligitec.
Now our hosts and waitress were exceptional! Very sweet and did they best to work though this situation. Food was delisous! Hope they can get the rest of operations together. It's really all about customer service and experience. Just be aware and talk to people.
Was in the restaurant at our table for 35 minutes before receiving a glass of water. Waiter blamed the bar but water wasn’t served by bar. Had a reservation. Was seated right away but place seemed very understaffed. Lots of folks not getting waited upon. Food was good but we would have left if we had another place to go. No other restaurants around. Trying to get to event at 7:30. Got to restaurant at 5:30. Didn’t have time to finish meal. Left at 7:30! Would not recommend this restaurant. Poor management & service.
