Relative to food quality, overpriced. Spent $100 (incl. tip) for 1 glass of wine and 2 fish entrees, no apps, no dessert. Dined on a Sunday night bc it was close to our hotel and DR was (understandably) empty. I don’t expect much at chain restaurants but this one fell far below my expectations. Over cooked mahi, pimento grits formed into a hardened oval mound on my plate, I cut through it with the side of my fork. On a brighter note, side salad was fresh and crisp. Given the opportunity again, I’d eat from the hotel vending machine.
Shrimp and grits were a little on the small side, but they were delicious. The crab cake was not a $15 crab cake (not enough lump and was not held together well), but it had good seasoning. Despite those things, I would return again.
excellent place for dinner over looking water with a light and fire show, located in the Union station of St LouisFood and service was great. must go to when in the city
We really enjoyed our meal. The food was great. The service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere.
Great job by the staff and wonderful place to eat !!
We went to celebrate my husbands 65th Anniversary. It was a very good experience. Very good starter and entree followed by an excellent dessert but again no Licor 43... and that really goes fabulous with creme brûlée.
We will certainly go back to experience other fish dishes and some more creme brûlée.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. We. Will return.
beautiful view and wonderful service. can't wait to see this area build up
Great service. My shrimp were a little over cooked but the flavor was great. This was our first time here but we’ll definitely be back
Get Food and Location!!
Was out for Justin Timberlake concert with 7 ladies.... Was not overly busy.... Checked in for reservations at 6:10, went to bar to wait for our tables. Once at the bar area no one would serve us or even make eye contact. We'd ask each bartender if they could please help us once finished with what they were doing. Everyone said ask other bartender, 20 mins still no drinks or anyone offering to help us. We are seated for our 6:10pm reservation at 6:30pm, order drinks and food, takes an hour to receive our drinks and 1hr 30min for food. Management seemed to not really care. We asked if he would comp our drinks or bring us another round on the house. He choose to comp our drinks and recommended to not order another round. Still was not very apoligitec.
Now our hosts and waitress were exceptional! Very sweet and did they best to work though this situation. Food was delisous! Hope they can get the rest of operations together. It's really all about customer service and experience. Just be aware and talk to people.
Was in the restaurant at our table for 35 minutes before receiving a glass of water. Waiter blamed the bar but water wasn’t served by bar. Had a reservation. Was seated right away but place seemed very understaffed. Lots of folks not getting waited upon. Food was good but we would have left if we had another place to go. No other restaurants around. Trying to get to event at 7:30. Got to restaurant at 5:30. Didn’t have time to finish meal. Left at 7:30! Would not recommend this restaurant. Poor management & service.
We had dinner reservations before a concert, so we had a hard time deadline. We were not seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. Our waitress told us what items on the menu would take the least amount of time. Still took 30 minutes to get food once we ordered. The waitress actually told us NOT to order the shrimp etouffee because "everyone who orders it always sends it back". There were many empty tables and a full waiting area. It seemed clear that they did not have enough staff to serve all their tables. This restaurant is walking distance from the Enterprise Center/ Arena, formerly the Scottrade Center, so they should be aware when events are happening there, and staff accordingly. This is the second time this has happened to us at Landry's. It will not happen a third time. A fine place to go when you have all night, but not a good idea if you don't.
Food was excellent but the service was a little shower than usual but they were slammed this night.
Food was surprisingly good. The stuffed flounder was very tasty, although the flounder was a little over-done. The grilled asparagus was terrific.
My wife loved her snapper.
Service was very good. We were told by our server to expect slow service due to the large crowd pre- Michael Bublé concert. However, service turned out to be quite jiffy.
Nothing else is going on at Union Station which makes for depressed ambiance.
I had reservations prior to a concert for 6:00 p.m. I arrived early and immediately was concerned given the number of people waiting to be seated, the number of tables that were available and the lack of servers in the dining area. By 6:15 p.m., the waiting area was full with those having 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, 6:15 and 6:30 reservations. The hostess could not tell me when I would be seated. I asked the manager to tell me where I was on the waiting list and he said he couldn't but would seat me as soon as possible. I asked if I would make the 8:00 p.m. concert and his response was "we'll seat you as soon as we can." I left, went to Lombardo's, had an incredible meal and made it to the concert with time to spare. I didn't want to rate all areas required because I did not eat there and do not know the quality of food. What I can say is that if you want to try dinner, allow for plenty of time and don't have further plans.
The wait was horrible my reservations was @6 we didn’t get seating til 7... The waitress we had was horrible, slow, couldn’t get the order right, We waited and Hour so to get our food and turn out to be wrong and COLD... The place was bad wouldn’t recommend it to anyone... 3/22/2109
Server could only complete one task at a time. The tables interacted about him because we all saw the same thing going on. Slowwww.
Delicious food and outstanding service!!! We will be back!!!!
A very short walk from Enterprise Arena. It is a bit complicated to find, if you try and get there from the Union Station Hotel. Seafood is always good at Landry’s Seafood. The fried calamari is amazing. There is a reflecting pool outside the restaurant. I didn’t anticipate the flame and light show, but it is something to check out.
We enjoy Landrys, this trip we think it was a new server or they were short help. The manager was waiting tables or covering stressed servers.
Service was horrible. Server was inattentive and seemed overall not interested in helping us out. Everything was done with an attitude. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else for seafood.
Great experience. Only advice - while aquarium construction is going on - reach out to reservation guests to let them know the Drury hotel side is completely closed. We had to walk around the entire complex. Otherwise it was perfect.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Great location closer to downtown and hotels.
Food was fairly good. The window table we were given gave us an awesome view. What we enjoyed most was our server, His name was Terry and he was absolutely WONDERFUL couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Overall I would say Landrys is a pretty neat place
Meegan, our waitress, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was delicious. We are looking forward to visiting again!
My waiter Eric was right on the money in suggestions, and taking care of my wife and I.
SLOW service! We were trying to make it to the Blues game. We sat down at six and did not receive our food until seven! Never again! It took 30 minutes just to receive our drinks.
It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. Kind of expensive for ok food. Found a huge hair in our salad which definitely grossed my husband and I out. Waitress was nice, but really didn’t know the menu - overall it wasn’t bad just probably won’t go back.
Came here 10 years ago and was not impressed. Similar experience tonight.
Great food and service!!!!! Quiet and romantic for a great date night :)
We were there March 9th and it was great. Meegan ?? was great, she continually checked up on us and provided us with everything we needed (party of 8). The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was due to google maps taking us to 1820 North Market Street instead of 1820 Market Street and the lighting wasn't working where they seated us so it was dimmer than usual. I would definitely go back when in the area.
Excellent experience. The food was a little pricey I thought
Great experience. Food and service was excellent.
Great food. Fantastic service
I have been to Landry's 4 times in the past year, most times the experience is decent. The service was unattentive, and there was a long hair found in my food.
We made a reservation and were not seated until about thirty minutes after our reservation. Waitress kept forgetting to bring over the waters, she was apologetic about our wait but upper management just ran around the restaurant not offering to refill drinks or anything while the servers were clearly overwhelmed. Also the food was not that great for the price. To have to deal with parking and then waiting 30 mins after the reservation time, none of it was worth it.
Cool setting and decor. Food was delicious. Restaurant service was poor. After food was delivered I never saw the waitress again and was not able to get a beverage with dinner.
Bar service was good. Overall left disappointed.
I was very upset with our experience at Landry's. I made reservations at 5:30 for my daughter's 15th Birthday. I made reservations for 6. Our service was horrible. It wasn't that busy to justify, having to track down our waiter over and over. I was truly embarrassed in front of our guest. It was literally 45 minutes in between getting or appetizer, salad, and meals. I complained to him and said, " what's going on?" refills on drinks were an hour apart. Also, we asked for another salad, because the small amount put in the bowl was not enough to cover 5 people. He brought the second salad AFTER our meal. We patronize Landry's about 4-5 times a year, because we love it. I bought a Select Card on or last visit before this one.
When I complained to the waiter, he was very flippant and said, I'll get the Manager for you.. The Manager came over after 1 hour and 15 minutes, and said, "what do you you want me to do?" not apologetic at all. I said, "what do you think you should do? please talk to our waiter. We just want our food, and refills" I never raised my voice, or and talked very quietly. I didn't ask for anything, I just thought he should know. He took a discount off our bill, and sent a dessert to my daughter. Our bill was over $200. I understand there are bad nights anywhere, but we were treated like WE did something wrong. I will patronize Landry's again, and hope we never have another experience like that.
It was great to the service and the food and the drinks couldn’t get any better
