Landry's Seafood House - St Louis
We enjoy Landrys, this trip we think it was a new server or they were short help. The manager was waiting tables or covering stressed servers.
Service was horrible. Server was inattentive and seemed overall not interested in helping us out. Everything was done with an attitude. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else for seafood.
Great experience. Only advice - while aquarium construction is going on - reach out to reservation guests to let them know the Drury hotel side is completely closed. We had to walk around the entire complex. Otherwise it was perfect.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Great location closer to downtown and hotels.
Food was fairly good. The window table we were given gave us an awesome view. What we enjoyed most was our server, His name was Terry and he was absolutely WONDERFUL couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Overall I would say Landrys is a pretty neat place
Meegan, our waitress, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was delicious. We are looking forward to visiting again!
My waiter Eric was right on the money in suggestions, and taking care of my wife and I.
SLOW service! We were trying to make it to the Blues game. We sat down at six and did not receive our food until seven! Never again! It took 30 minutes just to receive our drinks.
It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. Kind of expensive for ok food. Found a huge hair in our salad which definitely grossed my husband and I out. Waitress was nice, but really didn’t know the menu - overall it wasn’t bad just probably won’t go back.
Came here 10 years ago and was not impressed. Similar experience tonight.
Great food and service!!!!! Quiet and romantic for a great date night :)
We were there March 9th and it was great. Meegan ?? was great, she continually checked up on us and provided us with everything we needed (party of 8). The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was due to google maps taking us to 1820 North Market Street instead of 1820 Market Street and the lighting wasn't working where they seated us so it was dimmer than usual. I would definitely go back when in the area.
Excellent experience. The food was a little pricey I thought
Great experience. Food and service was excellent.
Great food. Fantastic service
I have been to Landry's 4 times in the past year, most times the experience is decent. The service was unattentive, and there was a long hair found in my food.
We made a reservation and were not seated until about thirty minutes after our reservation. Waitress kept forgetting to bring over the waters, she was apologetic about our wait but upper management just ran around the restaurant not offering to refill drinks or anything while the servers were clearly overwhelmed. Also the food was not that great for the price. To have to deal with parking and then waiting 30 mins after the reservation time, none of it was worth it.
Cool setting and decor. Food was delicious. Restaurant service was poor. After food was delivered I never saw the waitress again and was not able to get a beverage with dinner.
Bar service was good. Overall left disappointed.
I was very upset with our experience at Landry's. I made reservations at 5:30 for my daughter's 15th Birthday. I made reservations for 6. Our service was horrible. It wasn't that busy to justify, having to track down our waiter over and over. I was truly embarrassed in front of our guest. It was literally 45 minutes in between getting or appetizer, salad, and meals. I complained to him and said, " what's going on?" refills on drinks were an hour apart. Also, we asked for another salad, because the small amount put in the bowl was not enough to cover 5 people. He brought the second salad AFTER our meal. We patronize Landry's about 4-5 times a year, because we love it. I bought a Select Card on or last visit before this one.
When I complained to the waiter, he was very flippant and said, I'll get the Manager for you.. The Manager came over after 1 hour and 15 minutes, and said, "what do you you want me to do?" not apologetic at all. I said, "what do you think you should do? please talk to our waiter. We just want our food, and refills" I never raised my voice, or and talked very quietly. I didn't ask for anything, I just thought he should know. He took a discount off our bill, and sent a dessert to my daughter. Our bill was over $200. I understand there are bad nights anywhere, but we were treated like WE did something wrong. I will patronize Landry's again, and hope we never have another experience like that.
It was great to the service and the food and the drinks couldn’t get any better
great service great food highly recommend to others
Eric our server gave us amazing recommendations! Everything was timely, comfortable and absolutely delicious!
Our waitress was amazing. She was on top of everything.
Good food and service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful
There was a Long wait for food orders even after being seated.
I was very disappointed in my lobster tail not seasoned enough and the texture was off. I was not happy with my food at all.
Always enjoy dining at Landry's. The service is always professional; and they always seem unflustered when the place starts to get crowded. Never had an unpleasant experience there in the 15+ years we've been dining there. The snapper (pan-seared) was superb.
Great food & many choices
Valentine’s Day with my husband!!
The portion size was extremely small.... My husband and I thought this was maybe due to it was Valentine’s Day
We were the only people there during the lunch rush. Food was Red Lobster drowned in more butter. Crab cakes had no crab, shrimp was overcooked. Very overpriced for poor quality. Service was what you would expect if they were a full restaurant.
We will go back. Shockingly I've never dined here, though I used to frequent Union Station when it was a hopping place. (I hope the new aquarium will bring back the visitors).
We were going to an event and I sent my husband links to four restaurants, he chose Landry's over Maggie O'brien's, Lombardo's, and I forget the last one. Used OpenTable to make the rez. Arrived just a few minutes late, it was not a problem. Asked for a booth and received one that my husband loved.
We had a very good waitress, but we ordered an appetizer, and she forgot about it. Which was fine, our salads came out soon after we placed our orders. We would have had a lot more to take home if we would have received the appetizer. She was apologetic. It was all good.
He loved his steak. Yep, the man chose a seafood restaurant only to order turf.
I had a pasta with seafood, it was lovely.
Getting our check took a little time. We would have loved to totally relax and not worry about time, but we told her we were going to a show. She was busy, I know, and others were probably going to events afterward.
Our 1st time dining here, very enjoyable. We will be returning
Very poor experience, had to wait 25 minutes for our first waiter and asked the hostess 2 times to send one over. After we finally got one we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. Food was slow as well
Fabulous food but service was poor which made the dining experience not the best! So disappointed in the service we got!
Exceptional as always. Service was fantastic. The food was superb and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is always great and the extra added fire show of Union station is an added bonus. You will not be disappointed when you leave.
Food was delicious and generally the service was fine. Server was friendly and attentive... as much as he could be given how SLAMMED he was. Drinks, appetizer, salads - we got these quickly. BUT Took what seemed forever for our dinner
Came 140 miles for a concert. Great food and atmosphere.
Our server was very curious and prompt, however the speed of receiving any item we ordered was very slow. We arrived on time for our reservation and placed our drink, appetizer, and meal orders within 15 minutes. The only item that came out right away was our oyster appetizer. Our drinks took 15-20 minutes to arrive from the bar. It took quite some time for our salad to come out. We then sat for another 30 minutes waiting on our entrees. It was over an hour from when we arrived to when our entrees were served. All of the food and drink we received was good, except the steak. Probably the worst steak I have ever had. It was very tough (could barely stick a fork in it) and not cooked as ordered. I would have sent it back, but we had already been waiting over an hour, and we had a concert to be at down the street. We had very much been looking forward to our meal at Landry's, but were very disappointed.
1st time here and it was more than satisfying. We will be coming back.
