Always fantastic here. great seafood. on the riverwalk and decor is just right.
Excellent food, as always. Professional service but perhaps a little slower than anticipated. The one issue is that if you're going to seat people upstairs, let them know there'll be live music sufficiently loud that people at their table struggle to have a conversation.
Had we known, we have asked for a table downstairs.
Otherwise, a very nice evening.
Service was sub par. Food was decent but nothing extraordinary. I expected more for the cost.
Will our server was a professional, and expert at his craft. We enjoyed his help in building our meal! It was perfect. A very big difference from the restaurant on the top of the needle the night before.
Celebrating my 70th birthday. Server was outstanding. Top notch customer service. Food was excellent!
The time was perfect! We felt like we were the only ones there. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason this dis not get 5 stars is because my and my husbands main meal needed more salt. I would go back again.
The food was great and my waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu items and recommended some very good dishes that I found delicious.
Poor service. Food was ok but not great for the price.
The new manager, Bruno, is excellent! He takes time to get around and check how people are enjoying Landry's Seafood on the San Antonio River Walk! Our cocktail waitress, Glinda, was just outstanding, very personable, caring, amicable and my wife just loved her attention to details! The live music was very good! We even went back upstairs to listen to some more music and even sang along!
We had an outstanding server. He tried really hard to meet our needs. He really knew the menu and had many personal recommendations.
Great place for dinner with a group or for two. The Salmon was great also.
Awesome food, served in great atmosphere by capable, knowledgeable staff
Mia was our server tonight and she was great! She took such care of us that we will definitely come back. Make sure that you sign up for the LVP card! It’s $25 to join but you get that back when you register your card. In addition, you get a $25 gift on your birthday.
Food was delicious and service was excellent!
It was a very nice dinner service was excellent
Very nice restaurant and the food was very good.
Great fish restaurant. Prices are typical of fine food. Our waiter recommend the fish and it was the best suggestion. Can sit outside along the river or inside. Quiet dining atmosphere.
The setting was nice. We got seated right away with a reservation. The waiter tried to have conversation with us and apparently forgot everything we said. Then he forgot our order. And had to reorder some stuff. We got one refill the whole time. Then he started the conversation about where we were from all over again. The shrimp on top of my fish were dried out and super chewy ( over cooked). Maybe a better waiter would have made the difference
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had!
The menu and prices don’t live up to its reputation. The food was very bland and overpriced. We were checked on by management in the middle of our meal but had to call someone over to let them know we were done and so we could pay. The restaurant was practically empty. On the way out the staff were so busy talking at the front they never even greeted us out of the door. We left unnoticed.
I visited for restaurant week. The 3 course menu was excellent. One usually expects during this special promotion smaller portions but these were more than generous and the Bananas Foster for dessert was a dream.
Everything was great at Landry's downtown San Antonio. The only fall back was, if a guest requests coffee with dessert, bring it at the time of the dessert. The waitress didn't even remember to bring it and halfway through the dessert, my husband reminded her.
Landry’s on the River Walk never disappoints. The service, atmosphere, and food are always great.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time! The service was very good and the waiter was very engaging and friendly. Upstairs in the bar equals the experience in the dining area
One of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio. Love the banana foster♥️
Our server Will was on point! Every detail was taken care of from start to finish. Our food and drinks were perfection. We were even surprised by a visit from the restaurant manager, Bruno who ensured our visit was top notch.
What a fun experience. We loved our night out at Landry’s!
The table behind us was a little loud and then there was a guy who started throwing stuff around on a table which was weird but that's not the staff's fault. My oysters had a couple that were a little rubbery. The lobster was perfection once I added some lemon but that's my personal opinion. Our waitress was fantastic and so sweet. I really appreciate everything.
Food and appetizers were delivered to our table at the same time. Steak ordered medium rear were completely rear ( and I love bloody steaks) so we send it back to cook more. Scallops and oysters were not cleaned. Would never go back.
First time at this location and I really enjoyed it.
Excellent food. Great service and recommendations. Wonderful location and ambience.
Just a great dinner experience. The food, service, and view were excellent.
Melissa was fantastic and so was Jesus
The service in general was not what I expected . The wait was not bad but service and food was not as expected . My husband’s steak was not cooked to right temp and the waiter was too busy and we were unable to make contact had to physically find him or contact hostess several times . My dish which was catfish was very dry , so steak went back to kitchen and my husband and I at the dry catfish dish together. Manager offered another dish but after such bad service we were just ready to go our time was limited . I am sorry but won’t be returning back.
While visiting San Antonio Riverwalk, we decided to dine at Landry’s Seafood for a nice seafood dinner. The food was awesome and our server, Aaron, couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. The Sea Bass Special was phenomenal and my husband’s cedar plank salmon was equally as delicious. We dine at a Landry’s restaurant frequently here in Houston and rarely are we disappointed. I wish we could take our server, Aaron, with us from restaurant to restaurant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made terrific recommendations to ensure our dining experience was top notch.
What I had was good. But the macaroni and lobster that my son had was very dry and not much flavor. The sea food pasta my husband and father-in-law had was cold and just not very tasty for what they spent
Great food, and service.
The seafood platter was amazing! Our server Kenny was a gem. Great atmosphere.
If you decide to sit outside be prepared for bugs (flys, bees, and mosquitoes), longer wait for food and trouble hearing your own table conversation.
My mom and sister came to town and wanted to take them out for a nice meal on the Riverwalk. Had reservations for 11:00 and was seated around 10:50. All was well but another table of two received there meals before us when they came in after we did. This was ok since not in a rush.
My Mom, sister and myself had ordered the jumbo shrimp and my two daughters ordered other items that were good. The shrimp was dry, hard and rubbery. We had asked for melted butter that helped a little. I talked to the waiter and he was to bring me out a fresh order that did not happen. The manager came over and apologized and said he would check on this. The waiter brought the ticket over and said the manager took off $15.00 for the shrimp. These plates all together cost much more than this. I told the waiter that $15.00 is not much for 3 plates that were not good and I would have rather had fresh shrimp. We left hungry and dissatisfied with this restaurant. Will not be going back.
Delicious food, drinks, and very friendly staff! Relaxing atmosphere.
