Landry's Seafood House - Orlando
In Orlando for a conference and a birthday. I had indicated it on the reservation and the hostess didn't mark the reservation as attended. The staff was not aware we were there for a birthday. The food was delicious. We had a very attentive waitress.
Stopped in after Disney. The service and food were fast. Salad was great, the onion straws were not crispy- no other food complaints. Generous portions.
Clean beautiful restaurant. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. The oyster appetizer was fabulous. I ordered the seared scallops and they were excellent, although a bit pricey. My son had snapper that he loved and my wife got a shrimp/scallop/muscle dish that she enjoyed although the shrimp were slightly over cooked and chewy. Overall it was an enjoyable dinner however it was a bit expensive compared to what I remember Landry’s being in the past. Either way it was a good night out and we would definitely eat there again.
some of the best seafood I’ve ever had! Great food great people, will definitely come back on our next vacation!!
Good food, great service. Close by to Sheraton Vistana and it has a park which was perfect with a 2 year old.
We had a wonderful mother's day meal.was so happy to have to get reservations and went right in. Server was excellent.
This place is amazing. The service is great and the food is great. I would highly recommend.
Food did not disappoint, will be back again!
Had a great meal . It would have been memorable if it was not so noisy. Difficult to hold a conversation.
Very pleased with Landry's Seafood House in Orlando. The service was good and the food was even better. I am always cautious of a seafood restaurant that is not directly on the coast having fresh fish. I was not disappointed. It was as fresh a piece of fish as I have had in the Keys. I will definitely be going back next time I am in Orlando.
Fell way short of expectations. Food was sub par and service slow
If you like processed food, you are gonna love this place.
We were not impressed with the food. It didn’t have much flavor. We had to wait a lot for our server too.
We ate in one many years ago in Oklahoma. Now I remember we didn’t go back because we didn’t find the food special. Pricey too. Only good thing was it was close to our hotel and no waiting
It was Kentucky Derby, the waiters / stuff watched TV. That the guests waited for refill or needed a knife etc it was not important to them. Nor that they took the empty appetizer- salad plates, the waiters passed several times the table to go back to watch the Derby, he/she saw the empty plates but took nothing away.
It took forever until one came to take the order, then it took a long time until the food came.
At the reservation I noticed that my husband has birthday, it was not interesting for same at all.
The restaurant is not inviting like we know from other Landry’s Seafood Restaurants.
Food was okay, but not outstanding.
A very good dining experience. I will definitely return and recommend to friends.
We went to this restaurant to try it out since I am a member if the Landry’s Select Club.
I will simply say that we will NEVER return because I found a 6 inch piece of black hair in my sautéed spinach. It was game over for me and I returned my food immediately. I will not comment about anything else about the rest of the food because it was average anyway and after the hair discovery I could not leave fast enough. The manager did apologize and removed my meal cost from the bill. Our server was efficient and also mortified about the gross hair.
Celebrating a college graduation
Food and service were awesome. Can't wait to go back
Service was amazing and so was the food!
I visited this restaurant for my 40th birthday dinner. The food was delicious. Matt our waiter was personable and made some great recommendations for drinks. Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I would return the next time I am in the area.
Our service and food was just wonderful. I had the tuna and it was done perfectly.
Food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely go back!
Food and service was amazing. Every time we go to Orlando Landry’s is a must!!
I don’t like writing reviews because of this 50 character requirement. Place is good lobster was fine but crab legs were not that good.
the crab cakes were outstanding - I liked that a salad came with entree
Excellent food. Excellent service! Ask for Alex he was outstanding
Friends from home meet- up
Vacation with family!
The food was eg..blah. Their “famous” salad bowl was really good..the waiter tossed the salad with a dressing he whipped up in front of us..it looked like a combination of honey mustard and Italian dressing. One of us ordered southern fried fish. It so fried, you couldn’t taste the fish. I ordered the flounder. I originally requested grilled as it was one of the choices but was told by the waiter it doesn’t really come that way. Asked for it broiled and it came breaded and appeared fried. I couldn’t taste the flounder. Their rice pilaf was incredibly salty. They couldn’t fill our water glasses quick enough. We came to this place bc reservations were avail. Saltgrass was our first choice with no tables avail at that time. I don’t think we will return..nothing special. Nothing great.
They didn’t have our open table reservation. What’s the point if the restaurant doesn’t have the reservation
It was ok. I’ve had better food at other places. Waitress was excellent.
The lobster was tough and chewy.
Okay. Fish was over cooked, surprisingly for a seafood place. But service was nice and efficient
Seems like they changed the menu.
Worst ambience of any Landry’s Select property I’ve been on.
Decided to go to Landry’s for our Anniversary, the prices were reasonable, food was good, Megan our waitress was very nice.
We always rate restaurants on a number of factors, so here goes:
Service: Attentive, helpful but not overbearing. An excellent server.
Appetizer: As recommended by our server, we had the artichoke dip with homemade nachos, which was great
Entree: The redfish plate with seasonal vegetables was also top shelf, and we finished off with coffee, that was not Starbucks, which we both dislike.
Every year we come to Orlando we make it a point to eat here and are never disappointed.
Absolutely wonderful experience!
It was good, not great. My expectations were higher. It's been a couple of weeks since we ate there and I don't even remember what we ate. I guess that sums it up. Sorry Landry. BTW, there wasn't much for vegans or vegetarians.
