Very disappointed in our experience at Landry’s. You would think a seafood restaurant is supposed to have fresh seafood. Unfortunately for us, from the crab dip appetizer to our 3 fish entrees, all of our seafood had a strong overpowering flavor of not being fresh. Mahi and grouper are not strong flavored fish when fresh but when served, we couldn’t even finish our dishes.
Our server was very polite but was not well versed in recommending or explaining dishes when asked. It also looked as if she had a ton of tables which led to her taking a long time to touch our table at needed moments. I do not fault her for that being that they may have been understaffed but it was still frustrating when we were having issues.
Based on reviews, I had higher expectations and for the price paid, I absolutely believe it should have been much better.
Our server Miguel was excellent. I had the broiled seafood platter. The salad was very good as was the bread. The fish and shrimp were ok. A bit overcooked for me. The crab cake itself was good but it was completely covered in sauce that overwhelmed it.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy. Well that's five Disney characters. Can't think of fifty.
We enjoy the food at Landry's, but being senior adults we don't care for the loud music during dinner. I guess the music is for the younger people and families. You don't go there for the ambience.
Great restaurant. Great Hostess, Great Service and Great Manager. Thank you and we’ll be back again.
It was terrible food and way overpriced. If you want to waste your money you should go here.
Disappointed compared to our great experience last year. Crawfish etouffee was very soupy, not all of the crawfish heads had been removed. House salad had many core pieces of the lettuce and brown pieces that we picked out. We probably should have just sent it back. Coconut shrimp overcooked/tough. Perfect patron margarita was perfect as we remembered...best part of our dinner. At this point many other choices out there probably won't be back ☹
Very loud and Huge portions.
The waitress was very pleasant and helpful in her suggestions for lunch choices. We were seated promptly and quickly served. Food was good. Portions larger than I would eat but nice for average diner. The salad was amazing.
Limited menu for Thanksgiving was disappointing, lacking creativity and variety while also cutting out many favorites. Could really stand to hire a pastry chef. We ordered four desserts and I don't think we'd reorder any. Bananas foster was crepes filled with ice cream with a raw banana on top that had been sugared and torched on one side - absolutely not a bananas foster! Chocolate cake was more of a chocolate cream pie with a pile of frozen whipped cream. The bread pudding was better than the rest but even that was just plain and ordinary.
The Thanksgiving dinner special was exactly what we wanted for our holiday meal. The food was delicious. Our server made us feel welcome and provided excellent service during the entire time of our visit. We were very pleased to have chosen Landry's for our holiday meal.
My oyster Rockefeller and side of spinach was pretty good. My son ordered cheese pizza off the kids menu, he said the cheese pizza was really good.
Excellent service. Good food. Little pricey. Somewhat noisy. A little crowded due to popularity. Special requests carried out with willingness to please and efficiency. Our party of six included a senior citizen in a wheelchair and a five month old baby.
Everybody was fed and accommodated. This place is styled as a southern fishhouse and it exceeds expectations.
My FAVORITE shrimp cocktail ever!! LOVE the garlic bread, zucchini appetizer, crab legs and yummy parmesan crusted Chilean sea bass!!! And Ask for Jackie! She’s awesome!
Food was over cooked and not properly cleaned. Appetizer was good, but spinach in crab dip was not cut at all making it difficult to get on chips. Hostess seemed offended we wanted a booth and not open table in middle even though booths were available. Waiter was snooty when we voiced disappointment in food preparation. Not worth what they charged. Limited menu. Would have been happier with red lobster which is not a good thing.
We will definitely be returning to Landry’s. The food and service were absolutely amazing.
Great happy hour. Food & drinks were amazing!
Always wanted to try. It was worth the wait!! Outstanding steak, delicious red fish. Best crab appetizer I every had@
The food was very salty and left me feeling unsatisfied but the end of the evening. Overpriced. One description would be “tourist trap”
LOVE Landry’s!! We always eat at Landry‘s on her vacation to Florida! I had the Chilean Seabass with the Parmesan crust and it was amazing!
Shrimp cocktail was great. Amazing snow crab!
Made a reservation 2 weeks ago for a party of 11. They assured us that we will be seated to together when I call to confirm. Upon arrival we separated at different tables having away from each other making the experience unacceptable for our family member birthday.
It was great
The cedar plank salmon needed more flavor though
A little dark to see the menu, but great overall! Back of restaurant is made of glass where we could see a fountain courtyard. Felt as if we were at somewhere even fancier!
We always love the food and drinks at this venue. Will be back in a few weeks
Great food especially the specials. Drinks ok good wine list
Everything was nice and I picked this place to celebrate my mom’s 55th birthday.
My tartar sauce was old and discolored, my fish was not cooked well.
Pleasantly surprised by the upscale ambiance without pretension. Waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Menu offerings were varied and well described. My husband and I ordered the cedar planked grilled salmon and it was prepared precisely to our liking and delicious. In all, a very satisfying experience.
The food portions are more than enough and the oyster bar trash should be an entree
The fish and the shrimp in my seafood plater were both over cooked.
We dine here when we are in town, last night was good but not great. They got busy, our server was good but a little distracted. The Chilean Sea Bass which is one of my favorites was not as good as usual, my husband had the stone crabs and enjoyed them very much. My ceaser salad was outstanding and the oysters rockefeller were delicious.
The food was phenomenal, and the the service was excellent. I will definitely go back!
Food was good quality. Our server, Daisy was friendly and helpful.
Service was quick and efficient. Meal was excellent. Desserts were enough for sharing.
I always have a great meal at Landry's! I would recommend them all the time.
Worth the drive from UCF area. Food is delicious!
Food was very good though not exceptional. However, overall it was a tremendous experience for any occasion. FYI the key lime pie is as everyone says it is. 100 % legit one of the best Ive ever had. I would return.
