Location is nice and the food is good. Make reservations otherwise it will be a long wait.
Excellent server; great service, great entree choices, good ambiance. Our first time at a Landry’s and it was most enjoyable.
Our server Albert was amazing!!! The only thing was just disappointing being from out of town and we come to a place we heard such great things about and knew what we wanted to try and end up only being 3 hours into their day and they are out of what I wanted to order. Then tried ordering something else but it wasn’t what I wanted so asked to get something like what I originally wanted and it ended up just not tasting right because of the ingredients added. I know our server tried to do everything he could and went above and beyond! Everything else was great.
Good food , server was excellent.table didn’t have the view I requested but overall a good experience.
It seemed everything we ordered from dinner to dessert and drinks they where out of and had to settle for a second choice. Other then that the waitress was great in trying to make up for the short comings of the restaurant. Would I return again, yes.
A decent sit down restaurant, nice ambiance, but the food felt under seasoned and relatively bland for the price point.
The location is awesome being on water at docks. The food was really good and staff was good. The only bad thing was the tea was cloudy and tasted bad, waiter even said that others notice which mean should havd been fixed, but that managers problem to fix not waiter. Need good tea in texas.
Don’t waste time and money here. We left wishing we went to Whataburger.
Landry’s was highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. Blackened red fish was quite good. Our server was Claire and she was excellent. It was a great place for our anniversary celebration.
Landry’s never disappoints. It was a staple of my childhood and I was so happy to bring my children and spouse. The food was incredible and high quality, the service was wonderful, and the ambience was just what we needed.
Incredibly slow service. Waited over an hour once order placed. Took 20+ mins just to place the order.
We started with the stuffed jalapeños, and they were excellent! For our entrees we had the fried fish, catfish, and it was perfectly prepared, the stuffed mahi, a little over cooked, and the redfish with crawfish ettouffe (so?), which was also excellent. The garlic bread was also very good. Our server knew her menu, and did a wonderful job.
I had reservations. We were told there was no upstairs dining available due to no server however when other guests arrived they were taken upstairs. Calamari appetizer was bland and flavorless but tender. The rice pilaf was bland and served to me cold. My husband’s steak was small compared to the other guests we saw with the same entree. My stuffed Mahi-mahi was ok. It was NOT evenly seasoned. Some bites were very salty while other bites were good. The only positive is my broccoli was fresh and cooked well. This was definitely NOT worth the money.
Our calamari dish arrived cold and we did not eat it
Everyone was super friendly and awesome personalities - the food was amazing!!
Out of chefs special and the other was dry. The appetizer we wanted they were out and also my daughters first choice they were out. 3 of 4 choices were a no go. I expected more from this Landys as we had eaten there years before and it was excellent
It’s was ok for a chain restaurant, there local rest that are better
Great food and service. Prices are a little high. Bathrooms had no paper towels and no one could figure out where to get any more. Asked for a big table for a group table we got was cramped. No one could figure out how to use our gift card either.
Food was not “fantastic”… my shrimp were Small and taste OK. Stuffed Mahi was SUPER GOOD!
Absolutely terrible, we were seated in a back corner by the door to outside where multiple workers were coming and going. It had to be 90 degrees where we were sitting. Food tasted like a fast food seafood restaurant. Sweet tea was gross, it was barely even dark brown like it should be. We had to ask our waiter for things multiple times before we got it, I think he forgot about us in that back corner. When you pay that much for food your service should be on point and our total experience was absolutely awful.
I generally enjoy Landry’s and maybe my expectations were higher for this visit because it was my birthday and my family was in town, but this experience was mediocre. My food was bland and I honestly have had better salmon at Chili’s. The interior of the restaurant needs a major revamp. It’s dated and not nearly as nice as you would expect for such a pricey restaurant. The honey Dijon sauce on the cedar plank salmon seemed like it was nothing more than honey. My expectations may have been high, but I feel it is not unfair to expect more from Landry’s. I don’t believe that I will ever recommend the Landry’s in Corpus to anyone visiting the area in the future. As it is right now there are better options in town.
Great food and service.
Vincent was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed our night very much.
This restaurant has a very nice view of the bay and is a good option for a nice dinner out. I used to go more frequently but I prefer to sit outside to enjoy the breeze/bay and for some reason they haven't seemed to open up their patio/outdoor seating this year, so I've been going elsewhere for seafood by the bay. The downside for me is the lack of gluten free options. They get a plus for having a gluten free menu, but there is almost nothing on it--plain fish, plain veggies, and white rice. They offer a variety of sauces on the regular menu but not one of them is gluten free--they told me even their lemon butter sauce was not gluten free! I feel like $30 is a lot to spend on a dinner of pretty plain food without anything special to season it. If that is not an issue for you, they do have a variety of different fish and seafood preparations that sound really good. I've had better luck at two other nearby options for getting things gluten free that actually have some sauce/seasoning, though. They did actually serve me the regular rice pilaf instead of white rice, and I was concerned it wasn't gluten free but the kitchen manager assured me they were using different ingredients now and it was gluten free. I ate it with no issues and it was nice to have an option besides plain white rice. I will probably try them again in another year and see if they've managed to make any of their many types of sauces gluten free.
Was given a 45 minute wait time because we did not have a reservation. So we sat in the waiting area, used open table to make a reservation and was seated in 15minutes. Ridiculous that they even gave me a 45 minute wait without one. The hostess didn’t even look up when I approached the her the second time.
Our food was excellent! Our waiter was great. We will be back the next time we are in town.
We used to go to Landry’s all the time and it was delicious and had a very nice atmosphere. This last trip the service was ok, but the food was luke warm and overall just was not as good as it used to be. Our waiter was fine, but the other waiters were stomping around and cursing at each other on the dining
Food was great, service was terrible, food wasn’t served until after an hour of being seated, with a reservation.
Waited for about 10 mins before being greeted by our servers. Steak was overcooked. Food lukewarm. Overall an okay experience.
The food wasn't very good and service sucked I was very unhappy with my experience at this place please do better and train ur employees better ...
It was hot, server never came until we called someone to ask. They were out of the appetizer we wanted, got the wrong order. They brought an order that wasn’t ours. We got a mojito that was pretty nasty. But our entrees were good.
Delicious as always. Best seafood in town
The food was amazing, with the exception of the soggy fried zucchini. The portions were great. It was very simple to make reservations online. The bathroom was very dirty and there were so many crying babies and little kids running around that it was hard to enjoy our conversation. Don't get me wrong, I'm a mother and enjoy taking my kids out to eat but there are some restaurants that I know are more of an adult ambience and I expected this restaurant to be like that.
Good food and service, but noisy table next to us.
Delicious Flounder Melissa. Would have been nice to see a menu more teenage/kid friendly.
It was awesome to sit and eat...Been missing that. Food was awesome 😋. Chef came out and talked to all. Will definitely do it again soon.
Service and food were great! We enjoyed our dinner our server was incredible.
Food was delicious and had a wide variety for everyone dining
Great food. Great service. Great location. Great atmosphere. Pricey, but we had a great meal in a great place. We'll go back for sure!
We enjoyed the dinner of Snow Crab legs very much. The food quality was very good, though the Caesar salad appeared to be a bit oily. The crab, spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, and even the fingerling potatoes served with the crab legs were very tasty. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent, with views of the water on one side, and the marina on the other. The food was served very attractively, and it was served with good timing between courses. We never felt rushed, and this is important when eating in a fine restaurant. The only fault we would have would be with our waiter, Alberto. Although he was very nice, we had to ask for many things, such as a plate on which to put our discarded crab shells, and a fork for our desserts. Though we requested cream when we ordered our coffee, we had to ask for it again. The only reason to eat out in the first place is to be served a meal, and not to have to cook it at home. When one has to keep asking for things, it feels too much like work.
