After a long week at work, well worth it.
Very good food!
Really a terrible meal! Cold, undercooked, overcooked, 6 people, all agreed the food was just bad and bad seafood is the worst. Do not waste your time with this dump.
Food was as always Great. One little hiccup with my son getting cheese on his burger, but that was corrected as fast as possible. The only thing that was an issue for me was the amount of dead bugs on the windowsill. I would think now with the amount of concern about things being cleaned and sanitized, they would have cleaned a little better.
Loved the food, the wine, the service and the view - lovely dining experience!
We enjoyed Easter dinner with our daughter.
Waiter (Alejandro) was great, and food was awesome. Table by kitchen with no view despite reservation for early lunch. Decor a bit dated, but fantastic location on the water. Overall, a great experience.
awesome place to eat and enjoy company
Made a 6:30 reservation but wasn’t seated until 7:00. We ordered our apprizer and after several minutes we ordered our salad knowing that our appetizer would soon come out soon giving us plenty of time to eat our appitizer. Wrong. They brought the appetizer out at the same time as our salad. The table was packed with food. I had to ask the waitress to hold off on the entree to give us enough time to finish our appetizers and salad. Timing is everything ...
It was a very nice setting to bring my beautiful date.
I rarely write reviews but this place was awful. The carpet is so old and smelly as well as the booth they put us in. We waited at least 15 minutes just to order our drinks and then another 15 for appitizers. 45 minutes later and we still hadnt even ordered our dinner. We left after drinks and appetizers. Save yourself the time and dine elsewhere.
Disappointed. When we first walked in, the place smelled of sewage. Disappointed they did not have the wine I wanted. Then they didn’t have lobster, so I settled for the fillet. Although it was cooked perfectly, it did not come with the butter sauce and was really really salty.
For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and the bananas Foster. I was disappointed that it was not a traditional bananas Foster but the chefs take on it. It was OK just not what I expected. The crème brûlée was burnt, and the sweet cream below the burnt top was very thin, not enough to be able to pull back the burnt top and enjoy what was below.
I give them 5 stars for service. Every staff member we encountered was very nice and attentive. And five stars for the incredible wedge salad.
This Landry’s fell short on my expectations.
The restaurant smelled like sewer & old fish. The food was good but smelled bad when you walked in the restaurant.
Beautiful location. Steak and lobster were over cooked. Drink refills were few and far between.
Horrible waitress she was rude and my daughter’s and husband food was cold
Just a nice night out with my beautiful wife!
Service was amazing, our server was attentive and accommodating, she let us know when things were coming out and took care of our entire table better than any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was good but many advertised dishes like the Flounder Melissa were not available after we ordered. Draft beers were the same way...value for the meal was ok but did not in any way wow the palette. Another point of dislike were the tables, not sure how many were like this but ours had some kind of cushion making it difficult to place your drinks levelly without spilling.
Oysters were delicious, however other plates we ate where not the flavor we remember from Landry’s.
Unfortunately we dined right after TX reopened at 100%, but the restaurant was still only staffed at 50%. The poor servers and staff were tired, hungry, overwhelmed and overworked. The food was mediocre for the price we paid.
Upon arriving for our 7 p.m. reservations. We were told we have a 30 minute wait. There why no social distancing policies followed.
Typical Landry's. Food was institutional but overall good. A better option for less would be Water Street Oyster Bar.
The food was not cooked well and menu items were very limited. The lobster was quite tough and the potatoes were not evenly seasoned. The restaurant smelled like sewage and was run down. Very disappointing experience all around.
I found the floor to be extremely dirty. One of our guests even accidentally drop some food on the floor and pointed it out the waitress. She left it there adding to the already dirty floor.
I don't know what has happened to Landry's. It used to be awesome but our last two times in the food has been mediocre at best and with Covid you'd think they'd be serving on the deck instead of in the listing to port dining room. I think this was our last trip here. We had the fish and chips with side salads. The salads were quite nicely done but the fish and chips might as well have been from Long John Silvers. There seems to be some thing with loading the plate up with a cup and half of fried batter along with your 'fish fingers' The batter seems to have gone from their awesome side to some sort of cornmeal infused batter that belongs on a catfish not cod. Server was polite and attentive but between not serving outside on a gorgeous day and the slip in quality on the food, I think this is our last visit to Landry's in Corpus Christi.
Friendly staffs and boat-on-the-water restaurant made our dinner special. Seafood are so fresh.
Very good place to eat. Nice scenery eating by the ocean.
Kay, Melissa and team are excellent. The seafood is very tasty, but understand you are in the south. No halibut in lemon butter and capers. Very nice wine list. The evening reminded us a little of dining at the foot of Market Street in San Francisco. No hill or cable cars, but the downtown pulled your eyes up toward the stars.
Don’t know if they have daily specials since none were offered to us. Also had to ask for desert options since they weren’t offered either. Hopefully our server was new and didn’t know. A little expensive but you won’t leave hungry.
Valentine’s Day date that’s
We had a great time for Valentine’s Day! We didn’t like our first appetizer so our waitress replaced with another appetizer at no cost. We got a great bottle of wine, with our meals and some delicious desserts! The view was perfect and we enjoyed it very much!
Very nice downtown location with great atmosphere. Highly recommend for couples. Pretty Marina setting - great views.
Great food and great service. Will definitely be going agai
Food was over cooked and fish was dry. Our waiter came by to take our original drinks, deliver apps, and our meal. Other than that he came by once to refill our drinks. Very poor service.
The food at Landry's in Corpus Christ is consistently good, but service can be spotty. We went on out wedding anniversary earlier this week and when we were seated, there was one other table occupied nearby. The server did come quickly to take our drink order, but it was at least ten minutes before we saw any sign of a bartender at the nearby bar. We didn't receive our cocktails until almost 20 minutes after we were seated. The food came out fairly quickly, but the server was very slow to check on us and even slower to bring the bill. In fact, a party of 5 was seated after us and had drinks, entrees and dessert and left before we every got our check. I cannot give a high rating based on the service.
Food was amazing. This was our first time visiting this establishment and had a great experience. I had my heart set on the spinach artichoke dip but they were out of this item. Everything else was fantastic!
we love landry's and the food is always wonderful we don't mind the prices, we plan for our dining out. we are from out of state and are winter texans so we look forward to landry's for months. we joined landry's select club to reap the rewards while we are in town. so, being select members we always make a reservation. but why is is that we are always seated in the crappiest table in the house. Last time we were brought to a table overlooking the parking lot. We will not accept this. Our denial to take the tables offered seems to put the hostess in a bad mood. Not our fault. Why would you treat a valued customer this way? It won't keep us away as we lover Landry's. We will however,
not be put in some dark & dreary location when other tables are available.
Overall food was great! Waitress was very friendly. Would definitely recommend for dinning. Reservations were great. App was great.
The Server: ANDREAS ,SUPPER AND KNOWLEDGEABLE 👍🏻😊
My wife and I enjoyed it greatly. We traveled to Corpus Christi on New Year's day and had a relaxing earlier dinner. The staff was wonderful and relaxing.
Our table was ready and the view was amazing! Our food came out in proper order with enough time to not feel rush for our New Year’s Eve dinner.
