Landry's Seafood House - Branson

The shrimp was rubbery and felt as if it’s been frozen, and most of the food was not hot enough. The service was very slow.
The food was mediocre and the dining room noisy. The steak was low quality and the seafood platter was overloaded with French Fries, underpopulated with the shrimp (4 small), and oysters (3 small). The catfish filet was large and made the dish look well stocked, even though the quality (better) items were skimpy. Not worth the money, should have gone elsewhere, disappointing.
Not as good as typical overall for us. Hot appetizer was cold, sauce congealed. Server was very hard to hear as overall noise very loud.
We had Deandra as our server and she was awesome. It was our first time at Landry’s and had a ton of questions. There’s a ton huge variety on the menu. I had the crackling redfish with the Melissa side and it was delicious! My fiancé had the Mahi Mahi and a side of the Alaskan King Crab. The $20 for the crab was definitely worth it!!! It was cooked very well and was a pretty big portion. We will definitely be back here!
Great experience! Server was awesome! We even recieved a complimentary creme brulee for our anniversary. Everything was delicious!
Joined Landry's club at the Branson Landry's many years ago. It was a great decision. We've utilized our membership in many cities when we travel and in our hometown of Philadelphia. During this visit, we had super service ... just wanted to mention that the young waiter was outstanding and personable.
Food and service were excellent. Our table was comfortable and we found an amiable crowd nearby. All of our needs were met in good order and very punctually.
We had a 5:15pm reservation and we told our server we had tickets to a show at 7pm. She brought out to people’s salad, then 20 minutes later brought out another person’s salad. We got our entrees at 6:20pm and had to gulf it down. We canceled our additional drink orders (beer and wine) because when we didn’t have them in time to drink them. We left the restaurant at 6:50....and BARELY made it to our show. Seems like the restaurant was short staffed as it wasn’t that crowded. I wouldn’t eat there again...though in the past have enjoyed eating at Landry’s in other cities.
Don’t be afraid when you read the poor reviews from other travel sites, the food was great, great service and awesome drinks. Highly recommended!
We had a very good experience with our 2 day visit to Branson. Made reservations for our 33rd anniversary. Wanted to check it out before our dinner. We met Amy the hostess who was very friendly and interested in our visit. When she found out that we were coming the following day for dinner she set out to make it very special for us. Also loved Berniece the bartender who was also so attentive and made great drinks. Our dinner was amazing and ambiance wonderful. Will recommend and go back next time👍
Great service, food was excellent at very reasonable prices . Sat us on time, no wait and was promptly served.
We had some drinks and appetizers at the bar during happy hour. The shoestring onion rings and the crab balls were outstanding. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was efficient and informative and did apologize for the slight delay with our entrees due to a large party that had arrived but the delay was minor. Everyone of the six of us enjoyed their selection with the lobster perhaps the biggest hit. Would definitely dine here again (this was the Branson location).
Our server was very friendly and helpful! He checked on us frequently1
I've ate at Landry's in other cities before, so I have a frame of reference. When we arrived we were seated promptly, due to the fact that I had made reservations because this was a holiday weekend. Our orders were placed promptly, non alcoholic drinks were delivered soon after. The appetizer was then delivered in a short time, however no alcoholic had been delivered. We asked our waiter about this and he went to check, when he came back he informed us they just came out, this was a lie. My beer was warm and wife's drink was watered down. Then the long wait began, over an hour and 10 minutes to receive our entrees. My swordfish was under cooked and not very warm, my wife's Mahi-Mahi was way over seasoned. For a meal that cost what they charge, expect a higher level quality than they provided. When our grievances were brought to the staff's attention, they offered a free appetizer. Considering it took over an hour to get our food and our food was substandard, this is pretty lame in my opinion. The only redeeming quality was our waiter was friendly and seemed embarrassed by what had happened.
Great server! Samuel provides the best customer service!
Food, as always, was excellent! Our waiter was outstanding in taking care of us, & took my husbands allergy requirements seriously. I can’t recommend Landry’s enough!
Great food, good service, will go back
Our food was good for the most part, but not worth the very high prices. Most any restaurants will offer a choice for the sides, they wanted to charge a big up charge for a baked potato instead of rice on the fish, yet with the steak they don't. We ordered a side of crab legs and they were cold and dry.
Good food, kind of in between high end and midrange restaurant.
Tasty food. Good prices. Courteous service. Please check it out!
The redfish was a little overdone. The banana dessert, the crepes were very over cooked
Service was great and so was the food
Very mixed quality. Some dishes good. Some not so good. Kids burger awful.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! My family and I cannot wait to return next time we are in Branson.
Overpriced and over cooked.
We had a wonderful dinner at Landry's this evening. We had a beautiful view from our table, and were seated right away.
Dominick was our server and we can’t say enough good things about him! Super knowledgeable about the menu and as attentive as could be. Great family meal!
Not up to Landry’s great reputation. Nice waitress but had 5 tables. Shrimp shells in gumbo. Crab shells in crab cakes. Shrimp Brochette almost burned. Trout very fishy. Gumbo was dark water w no flavor. Trout was removed from bill. Very disappointed overall.
Our server was excellent and very helpful. The food was very tasty.
Had a great experience here. Had 4 preteen kids and 3 adults. Everything was delicious and exactly as ordered, from Mac and cheese to rainbow trout!
Seated next to a very large and very loud party. The food was room temp when we finally received it. My son's plate was missing items. The tip has been overcharged on my card. I've called my bank on this matter.
I've had Landry's in STL which was so much better! The waitress was great but slow. The food was not as good as STL last year.
Vacation meal-excellent food!
The food and the service were great, but I will say it's very expensive and would hesitate to bring a family or large group there to dine. Would almost have to take out a loan to do so. Our server was very, very knowledgeable and helpful. We brought our 6 year old granddaughter along, who is autistic, and he went out of his way to accommodate her and us.
This was our first visit to a Landry’s. We were greeted with friendly service the minute we walked in the door. Our waitress was precious and took very good care of us. The food was amazing!! I would highly recommend this Landry’s to friends visiting Branson. Thank you for a good experience!
We had a reservation and was seated relatively quickly. We had to make room on the table for plates and drinks. The appetizers were delicious but the entree for all of us left us disappointed especially for the price. Our bill was incorrect and needed to be adjusted twice. We spent more time waiting for boxes, fixing errors, etc., than we did wanting to enjoy our dinner. Last the room was extremely loud. It felt like a fast food restaurant waiting in our car for our food to be brought our to us
Food was great. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Our waiter Blake was the best . Outstanding service and great time. We highly recommend Landry’s.
Great service! Order the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp every time and never disappointed.
Service was outstanding!!! Food was fantastic! I had just proposed to my gf earlier that day on her 30th birthday...July 13th. Our waiter...the ticket said Steve i think he went by Trey was absolutely the best server ive have ever had. He went well above and beyond, he brought my now fiance a piece a cake lit with a candle and sang Happy Birthday with me!! I couldnt be more greatful to the staff and our wonderful waiter making our evening more special than what it already was!
Trying again, a bug in the OpenTable review process that wouldn't let me finish. Landry's is a nice place, appropriately priced for what it is, but I'm glad I quit drinking as that's pretty pricey there.
