Landry's Seafood House - Birmingham
The food was excellent and the service was good. I had the blackened chicken pasta dish and my date had the fried flounder which wasn't on the menu prepared that way but they made it for her anyway w/ slight upcharge. I will definitely be back.
I did not think any of the happy hour apps that we ordered were good. We did not like crab cakes , fried green tomatoes or shrimp coconut and the chocolate cake was just ok. The main entree of grilled mayo majo, rice and broccoli all tasted good though. If I went back. I would just get a main dish.
For our very first time here I must say we are very well pleased. We wanted a good night out for our anniversary, a place that felt romantic, elegant, yet not crazy expensive. The service was on point!! The food extremely amazing!!! Not to mention how romantic everything felt for us that night definitely a place I would recommend and come back for any other occasion. This place is definitely top notch, for our first time here this place impressed us with all its glory!
At the soup I had had no flavor to it and what flavor it had I couldn't figure out what it was.
The main dish pasta seafood very little Seafood when it was brought to the attention the manager all he said was that's what the recipe calls for.
It also had very little flavor.
Great food and outstanding service. Monica was great!
Loved everything about the restaurant. From the building itself to our waiter who was awesome and the food. I had the coastal seafood platter which was delicious. I will definitely be going back!!!
Food was horrible
There ended up being 6 in our party and the restaurant accommodated us very well. We had the fried catfish again and it was as great as it was first tine we had on Memorial Day
Me and husband had just arrived in Birmingham and had the fried catfish dinner and it was delicious and filling. The waiter was extremely accommodating and helpful with menu.
It was slow for Monday but the food was awful, the service was awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
First Experience Womderful Time
Mother's day luncheon and Momma loved her Salmon and that's All that mattered.
Food was great! That said we sat at the bar and their normal bartenders were out and fill in folks struggled. But overall a good experience because the food was so good.
Excellent service, will come again!! The manager stopped by our table several times with great conversation. Thanks again!

The menu options are fine. Food not bad. Value not so much.
It was great. The only issue was a 1 year old that kept grunting and making sounds. It was ridiculous, even my 5 and 7 year old begging to leave.
The filet was burnt, the fish was too thin, dry, and flavorless. The best part of the meal was the drinks from the bar, and the service. For the $132 it cost me, I will not be back nor recommending Landry's to anyone.
love the relaxed feel of this place like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Would just suggest when cocktails are ordered the server makes sure they bring them to the table and not charge them for something they didn’t receive.
Lunch on a Sunday afternoon was just what the doctor ordered and Landry’s did not disappoint. Food was hot and delicious. Service was top notch!!
Delicious food at moderate prices.
Great Service and the food was ok.
Great Food!! Great Service!!!
Our waiter Travis was Exceptional!
Had reservations for 7:30. Was greeted with a smile and seated on a very bust Valentine Night. The waitress was excellent, very attentive and asked if we were select members. We ordered filets that were cooked as ordered. They were very good. This was my second visit within the month and I have been impressed on both visits.
The service was excellent, ur server was knowledgeable about the menu and how the items were prepared. She was prompt and attentive. Our dinners were prepared as we ordered and did not disappoint. I would return
Service was very good. The atmosphere is great and the food was fabulous as usual. Prices a little steep but I know seafood is expensive so it is definitely worth the cost. Will be back definitely.
As always great food and great service.
We went here for a family dinner. Disappointed in the experience. The server was good but the food was lacking. Instead of individual sales they brought a bowl and it was barely enough for each person to have a scoop of salad. One person at the table ordered a salad without some items and that individual got almost as much salad as the other folks at the table combined.
The flounder fish was stale and dry.
Potato loaded was good.
Shrimp tasted frozen.
Would not recommend a stop at this location
For the customer: Service was outstanding!!! Using OpenTable, we were seated within 2mins from walking in the door. Staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great choices. A very good menu selection from Seafood to Steaks. The food's presentation, portions, pricing and taste were all great. A must try, this local gem I will return to soon.
Great atmosphere, great waitstaff, great food. Really good dining experience
For the price, the gumbo is a disappointment. Bowl is full of rice and very little other ingredients. It was not served hot enough and server never came back in time to ask her to warm it up.
Our entrees were a redeeming factor. Veggies we're tender crisp, rice was flavorful and both of our proteins were cooked to perfection.
I was so excited to take my fiancée out to Landry's for our anniversary but we were highly disappointed. We were first seated in the bar area and had to be relocated because it was so loud. Once we were relocated our order wasn't correct. The appetizer was great but we didn't finish it and was planning to take it to-go but our server didn't ask if we were finished and took the plate. When our dinner came out I was missing my side, and my steak was over cooked. It didn't dawn on us until we were paying that we never received our salads. I didn't want to make a big deal about it that night and ruin our special night but I am a chef myslef and was highly disappointed.
Brought my staff here for a thank you and team building meal. The food and service were excellent. The server was enthusiastic and attentive. I am a bariatric surgery patient, and have a list of things I cannot eat. It was easily adapted. This was a great place to show a budding foodie some excellent examples of seafood and fine dining.
The music was a little loud.
Good restaurant for reliable seafood. Lots of choices on menu, from build your own seafood dish to Landry dishes. I highly recommend
During our meal at Landry's, we were presented a great menu, with an outstanding waiter. I would recommend this restaurant to any friend that wants and inland seafood experience.
Not enough servers so service was very slow
Upon reviewing the menu you will notice the prices are a little high. However, once you receive your food you will see why. The portion sizes are “more” than enough. The food is also good. Very nice place for a date night and our waiter was awesome. I was in a group of four and we all enjoyed our food and was surprised by the portion sizes.
Food was okay, service could use some work. Overall, mediocre.
Went for friends birthday celebration.
Oof, oof, oof
