Landmarc at the Time Warner Center

We had to wait so long to order and then for the food. Restaurant was empty but they would not give us a window seat. Food was pretty good.
Great place with a nice view from Columbus Circle. Order Cage Free Poached Egg and Farro. Very good attendance and excellent prices.
Too expensive for a touristic place... I don't recommend....
Food not as good as it used to be. Service average,
Could be a great ambiance but not all tables are equal.
Great new casual menu! Kid friendly, with Pizza, pasta, burgers, mac and cheese. Varied choices for adults too, with salads, sandwiches, and mains. They now serve wine by the glass! Lovely draft
beer choices, and hard cider too. Fun desserts.
Can get crowded and noisy. Great value for money.
It was convenient for attending a performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center
Dinner menus is scares, wish they had a bit more variety in choices. Several dishes on menus were not available despite relatively early dinner. Food itself was ok, nothing to brag about. Service was good. Location and ambience was very good.
Sad to see this amazing place go, service always been on point for last 7 yrs going there
I can see why Lancmarc is closing. The food was adequate, but the service was lackluster. Our server was just going through the motions. No sense of caring about us or, for that matter, no sense of enthusiasm for the food. This attitude is very old school ("You'll eat what we serve, and you'll like it!") I guess we are spoiled by dining at quite a number of restaurants that are more modern in their approach. Even if Landmarc was going to be open for more than a few more days, we would not bother to return.
I love great restaurants but this one way overpriced for quality of food and limited choices. Would not go back. Too many other options in NYC
I ordered a Manhattan; my husband ordered a sauvignon blanc. They were out of sauvignon blanc (um, really?) and the Manhattan they brought me was a barely brown liquid in a little glass full of ice. Pained, I asked if I could not have it straight up. The server said that their drinks were pre-made so they usually served them on ice, but she could strain it. OK (sigh). She later returned with a stubby little glass with a small amount of medium brown liquid and some lemon peel. I commented, forlornly, that I remember when Landmarc served manhattans in proper glasses. She said they were closing and didn't do that anymore. My scallops (all four) were vile. The tasted as if they were doused in liquid smoke, atop some unseasoned black rice. I think Landmarc has given up.
We went to Landmarc to say goodbye. This is our favorite NY neighborhood spot. Apparently everybody else has already done this. The restaurant was half filled, the menu was limited and the prices were jacked up. Sad to see this great place go but if you have never been now is not the time to try. Sad day for all of us who really loved the place.
La comida fría, muy regular
The hostess was very rude
We had to talk to the manager
When we arrived there were 5 or tables for 6 available but the hostess made it clear that they were holding them for more important people
Waiter forgot to bring us our entrees. A small glass of iced tea was ridiculously priced at 6:00
I know that Landmarc is closing next month, but it's like they've already given up. They were out of multiple items, and the food they DID have wasn't good. My "Mediterranean Salad" was a pile of lettuce with olive oil and a few olives and chickpeas tossed in, and my flatbread was basically a frozen pizza served on a soggy piece of paper wrapped around a plank. My husband asked for his martini with an onion, and it was like they put onion juice in it or something--he couldn't even drink it. We had an appetizer, two salads, the flatbread, and an entree, and not a single item was good.
It was my husband's birthday, so it was extra-disappointing that it was so bad. He didn't even want to order dessert because he assumed it would be as bad as everything else.
I'm really disappointed in Marc Murphy. I understand that the restaurant is closing, but if you're putting your name on something, I would think you'd want to maintain a certain standard up until the time it does. I couldn't believe how poor the quality of the food was, and how badly they were phoning it in.
It was awesome! Love the customer service and personal attention. Sorry to hear you will be closing
They didn’t have a lot of items on the menu, my burger bun was dry and hard. I told the server and he told me it’s because the restaurant is going out of business so they aren’t ordering new, fresh ingredients.
We love Landmarc. It’s been a place we go to celebrate, meet up with friends, or run to brunch. We are sad that it’s closing and we’re happy to celebrate another milestone with them, HS graduation.
poor service in spite of restaurant being at least half empty
Apparently they are closing shortly so that may explain how disorganized the service was. The food used to be fantastic - small menu but everything top notch. The wine we wanted was sold out, the service was slow, one dish had to be sent back twice etc... shame but we have fond memories over the years so we will miss it.
They better get there quick, restaurant closing in July 2019
Sorry to see them go, it was great place to go when you going to
Extremely loud. Took 20 minutes to get water - seemed short staffed as server was pleasant. Fries seemed to be re-heated, not fresh.
We had a great team dinner for 11 at Landmarc, we loved it and will return again.
Good for kids
Surprisingly, Landmarc now offers wine by the glass. Good, unfussy food at moderate prices and great service. Somewhat noisy on a crowded Thursday night, but that was the only (minor) drawback!
Sorry to see landmarc closing. The neighborhood will miss it.
I have been a longtime patron. Saddened by the upcoming departure, I have scheduled a few business lunches. I had the chicken/bacon sandwich. The chicken was barely cooked and had no taste. Since it was a business lunch, I ate the roll/roast tomatoes and some of the bacon (lots of fat).
Sorry to see you go downhill on your way out.
Landmarc is my go-to place for business lunches. Noise level is low, service great and food is always excellent. Great location.
Not busy but servers were more interested in conversing with each other. Happy hour option not mentioned. Paid $ 18 for child’s pizza when 2 tables over it was $10. When mentioned to server he sent over a snappy hostess who said nothing could be done. I was celebrating granddaughter graduation. Disappointed
Wie schon vor anderthalb Jahren toll. Lecker, toller Service, alle Extrawünsche berücksichtigt. Und das Kind mit einem extravaganten Dessert (pinke Zuckerwatte) glücklich gemacht :)
Great location, fun buzz but pricey for overall food quality and definitely loud.
Cocktails are well put together.
Awful experience. How is it possible to have service that slow when there is no one else even dining? It was recommended as “good for kids” which is why I went but the food was terrible. I sent my shrimp cocktail back, the shrimp were like old rubber. I will never go back.
I am obsessed with the chicken burger and their pickles.
Bartender and server were great, but the food was mediocre, especially compared to the price.
Prior to this visit at Landmarc on June 7, 2019, there was no was no question in mind where husband and I wouldn't give Landmarc a full 5-stars. This time around since the announcement back in April, we've made 2 reservations (Jun 7th & Jul 19th) for our 5-year wedding anniversary & for my husband's birthday with our 4-yr old son. However, our dining experience, particularly with our food fell short and was quite disappointing. The 1/2 dozen of Shrimp for appetizer- Poor plating (messy) with inconsistent or obvious mix of various shrimp size: 3 small shrimps 1 medium and 2 jumbo size shrimps. We both got the same main dish which was the (2) shell steak frites... both of our shell steak entrees were served to us in room temperature cooler than cool and tasteless. And a side of broccoli a rabe was ridiculously bitter to a point whereby it stings in your mouth so we had the waitress take it back (waitress did removed item from our check.
Delicious meal! But - more children than I would have expected at a fine dining experience- so, it was a little loud... But, the food and service were both AMAZING!!
Food was average all around. Servers were pleasant, but meal took awhile to arrive.
ALWAYS A NICE PLACE TO GO BEFORE THE JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER SHOWS.
WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR A DECADE OR MORE.
Delicious. Very sad that they are closing
