Landmarc at the Time Warner Center Ratings and Reviews
I'd say thumbs up for brunch but NOT for dinner. Food was so so, service was awful. The waiter did not try to ask the chef to accommodate my soecial request for the pasta I wanted. We ended up getting the margherita pizza which came in lukewarm and hard. Ceasar salad was so so. He never asked once how we were liked the food or asked if we needed anything else. We had dirty plates on our table and he would pass by, look over, and not bother to take the plates off our table to give us more room. We ordered coffee but I had to ask for the dessert menu. I'm REMOVING my ❤️ - not one of my favorite places anymore.
Although very convenient if you are seeing a show at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Landmarc is only a marginally adequate restaurant. It is noisy, the staff moves furniture around while people are dining, they are not accommodating of requests (e.g. to be seated near a window) and the food is just OK. My partner had a pizza which she said was very forgetable. I had chicken, which was tasty, but nothing special. Brownie dessert was overcooked. Basically good in a pinch, but I'd recommend elsewhere if you have the option.
I have always considered Landmarc a good value with good food in a great location, but my last couple of visits have been very disappointing, the food has become expensive ($400 for 5 people including the tip and three cocktails and three glasses of wine), the food was mediocre at best, and the service was slow and surly at times. Not good at all.
The waitress brought a plastic stir for the tea!!! It's not a bar!! My eggs Benedict had no taste. The cook threw a huge chunk of ham on top of the muffin like if we were in a deli. The salad had no dressing. The french onion soup was the worst of my life.
Food and attention to detail was excellent. The ambience was upscale dining but it was ok to have children and in no way pretentious. Dining with a toddler is already difficult, this was an amazing experience and a relaxed enjoyable evening thanks to the staff and the restaurant. The food was prepared to perfection, the waitstaff silently attentive and the drinks cold! Perfect evening out!
The food was fine. Service was mediocre. We ordered several items, one of which was the Landmarc Burger; tasteless with a side of lettuce that had no dressing. The broccoli rabe was undercooked. Service was not good. Our waitress had a flippant attitude. We go to the Landmarc quite often and usually just sit at the bar. Have had much better service in the past from the bartenders.
An off night. A large party was being seated just as we were and the kitchen must have been thrown off. Our food was late and upon arrival, cold. Sent it back to reheat. Have eaten here numerous times and have never had this experience. It's usually excellent
Landmarc has consistently been my go-to restaurant for special guests, great service and good food. This time did not disappoint, except that there were bones in my salmon!! I do not generally complain in restaurants, but this was very disappointing. I hope this was a mistake in the cut and/or preparation. However, I will continue to hold this restaurant in high regard for both lunch and dinner. Just be careful...
used to love this place, now there prices are crazy, food mediocre, and huge crowds because its in the time warner center. What happened to there food? It used to be so good. The pizza I had seemed like it was frozen. My wife salmon was half the size of a an iPhone. Also very noisy..
I’ve been several times, but the quality of the food has really gone down. My husband ordered the hamburger and I got the Caesar salad with steak, and they both showed up at our table about 6 minutes after we ordered. It was like fast food. There’s no way that beef was cooked specifically for us. I always thought this was a good place to go for a nice dinner, but not anymore, unfortunately.
Food was very good. We ordered pasta, which was prepared very well, and the "meatballs," which also were prepared very well. Wine list needs improvement (the addition of selections would be helpful) and we found no bargains or stand-outs. However, the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive, but not intrusive. Kudos to our server.
I've been in Landmark couple of times before, however this time the food was not good at all!!! salmon - very dry, steak - no flavor, pasta with shrimps - just ok, hamburger - just ok. For the price they charge we expect better food quality. Very disappointed.
It took about 20 minutes to get the food to the table!!!
Absolutely terrible experience. Too slow, food undercooked, service was negligent, overpriced for what you received. Very poor experience and the manager knew it. Saw her going from table to table apologizing because we all we in the same awful boat. Find anyplace else to eat.
