Landmarc at the Time Warner Center
Book your next event with us
We had dinner on a Saturday night. This is a place to avoid, at least during busy times.
We ordered, fried calamari as the appetizer, you could tell they were not fresh, and stayed under the "keep it warm lamp" more time that what they should.
We also ordered two skirt stakes, one with salad, and the other with fries. The stakes came raw (we ordered medium well), and cold, really cold. You could also tell the fries were not recently made, and finally the "salad", a collection of greens was so full of vinegar that it was impossible to eat.
The total: $130! Really disappointed with the Landmark, I'm surprised this guys can stay in business.
It was not good.
Amazing is an understatement. From the moment you walk in to the moment you're seated and served, the staff at Landmarc is just phenomenal! The food is spectacular and portioned appropriately, the ambiance is just right, music is high enough to hear it but doesn't drown out your conversation. Quickest wait staff I've ever seen! Amazing
Nice service. Tables are a bit too close
We actually go here quite a bit, despite the bad rating. Service is always good, all seafood is terrible, oysters, shrimp, have tried it all. Stick with pizza. We only go with kids because they are kid friendly and it's in Time Warner Center, kids can walk around (they're older) but the kid menu is overpriced and portions are tiny unless you have a 3 year old. And our kids are very small eaters, we still had to order two cheeseburgers because the kids cheeseburger is just one mini slider.
Food was average. Service was very poor. We came for lunch. The restaurant was not overcrowded and had many empty tables.
We had to wait a long time — 25 minutes-for our appetizer of shrimp cocktail and another 15 for the main course of chicken and steak. Steak was excellent but chicken was ok with cold and lumpy polenta. Dessert was a very small portion.
Landmarc is a wonderfully located, beautifully designed and the food is amazing! It's a great place for brunch on the weekend and for lunches and dinners during the week. I love being surprised with what's on the menu. I greatly appreciate the attention to seasonal cooking! Hat tip to the chef!
Dear open table,
The food was excellent! And so was the cotton! Though for a suggestion I have an idea for the cotton candy, you should write something on the cone like a word and they have to eat it all to uncover it. Just a thought:) Though I must say we switched waiters a lot and the waitressing was lacking:( Also I think u should change your lighting and add a cool color it would spark the place up a little, also maybe add some fake plants. And maybe some back round music. The biggest problem was the waiters didn’t check on you as much as you needed. Other wise the food was very good and all these suggestions were made by a 13year old. I hope you guys Progress😊
The staff is phenomenal and they are really great at catering to families with children.
Get for groups and kids!
The food is consistently good. We had a window booth, which was very nice. A bit noisy at first, but did get a little quieter by the time we finished our dinner. The service was excellent!
The flatbread pizza was poor. I asked for a mixed green salad without cheese and got a plate stacked with large lettuce leaves.
We asked for a window table overlooking Columbus Circle and it was just right. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Disappointed with my visit here. Food was sub par but plentiful. The ambiance was ok. The seating for parties of two is close to being claustrophobic, very tightly packed. if I sneezed I'd be sneezing onto the person dining next to me. The chairs were rickety/wobbly. If you're plus size or want to have an intimate dinner for two don't dine here, you'll be uncomfortable.
Very convenient place for pre-opera dinner. Food generally good. Kale caesar salad and the market catch were very good. Wine braised lentils as a side is also very good.
Great ambience, casual atmosphere and good solid food. The food however is not so good to justify the prices at times. I get it's Manhattan, I'm from the city, but the $20 Mediterranean salad was about as good as I would make one at home, with nothing extra in it, no meat and not even a large salad. Could have gotten a better one at Pret a Manger. Otherwise, food and service are always solid...if you're gonna overcharge people for something at least make it impressive, I was in the mood for a great big salad, and happy to pay $20 for that...not a sad little chopped side salad.
I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and I will definitely return.
I have been to Landmarc several times and it never disappoints, great food, great drinks, great service and a great view
FIrst time I tried the Landmarc restaurant for dinner. I usually go for lunch. Dinner was MUCH more low key as the night we went it was much emptier than it would be at lunch and very quiet. The lighting and mood lent itself to a date-like atmosphere, which though it was not one, was relaxing for both of us after a tough day. Food was excellent as always.
Had dinner before attending show in warner center. Dark and dreary. Mediterranean salad was 95 percent lettuce with specks of other veggies. Asked for additional dressing as there appeared not to be any. Dressing was like wishbone with unpleasant chili flakes. Bread was crusty but very dry with more holes than bread. Little to offer except convenience.
Everything was great except for the brownie at the end wasn’t very good.
This is my second time at Landmarc in less than two weeks. I was with a friend. Landmarc is exceptional. Often large restaurants are loud and impersonal. Landmarc, in contrast, brings together a nice dimly-lit, stylish ambiance to a large place with a great food and drink selection, and awesome service. The place feels charming, cozy, and romantic too. Good to bring a close friend, family, or romantic buddy.
We came late for our 9:30 reservation (and didn’t have cell phone to call about the delay) but were accommodated immediately. Drinks were perfect and burgers exactly how we ordered them . John , our waiter was great.
Unfortunately ,I think I dropped my new hat there and called about it the next morning but it was never found .
I got a no show note from open table but couldn’t figure out how to say I actually did arrive
My two daughters and I celebrated the 17th birthday of one of them. We ordered the lamb shank (meat falling off the bone delicious); filet mignon and skirt steak as main courses. We had calamari for the appetizer and sides of potato au gratin and Mac and cheese. I had a classic sidecar to drink and the girls had the brownie for dessert. The only disappointment was that the brownie was very dry without the ice cream. And it was definitely not worth $15. We barely got a quarter of the way through.
Perfect winter venue for upscale lunch.
Plenty of booths
Sit all the way to the Right at windows facing the circle!
The braised lamb sandwich that I had was very good and the service is excellent.
Food was excellent, great service and ambience, kid friendly. Accommodated 2 additional guests at the last minute without issue. Highly recommend.
The menu felt a little limited, and it was hard to get our waitress’s attention. Otherwise it was good.
Excellent wine selection. Kale salad was delicious. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Excellent service all round.
This is my go to restaurant - Excellent yet again!!!
I hadn't been here since shortly after it opened, when, as I recall, it was more of a fine-dining restaurant, with a policy of offering fine wines at a very modest mark-up. Now, with sports tv over the bar, it's more a burgers and beer sort of place, with acceptable but rather indifferent food, and casual service. I won't be going back, but I guess it's good to know that such a place exists in the Columbus Circle area. The two wines by the glass I tried were mediocre, but I didn't order a bottle so don't know if the old policy is still in place.
Loud Overly salted. Louzy food. Never again. Mistake
This restaurant was just okay. I don’t know that we would eat here again with so many other choices in the area. It was very kid friendly which was good.
The food at this restaurant is really quite good, if you don't mind the confused and slow service and absolutely deafening noise level. It is a little like eating at the main terminal in a busy train station - lots of loud talking, bustling, people coming and going, kids screaming, and not nearly enough servers to keep us with the demand. It is very large, and packed, packed, packed. Not our idea of a lovely evening, even if the food is good.
Food is always consistently good. However service ok this visit was very poor- wasn’t that crowded but we didn’t have much attention from our server.
Very nice time and great food in the neighborhood for any occasions
Server and overall experience were fantastic.
It was a very pleasant evening!
Very little on menu that is non dairy. Previously I had mussels without butter in sauce. This time cook refused to eliminate it. I ordered a pasta with sausage without cream. I asked for some tomato sauce added and they refused. I will not return.
Used to be awesome. Solid food. Interesting menu. Great wine list at low mark-up. But its heyday has apparently passed. Still well located in Time Warner Center location. That's nice. Rarely have to wait. Good for families. But now the food is okay at best. Wines by the glass are still a cut above most restaurants but not awesome. Bottle choices nowhere near what it used to be. C+.
