The Landing was first established in 1972 and has withstood the test of time and the elements. Located on Marblehead Harbor our "On the Water Harbor Views" can't be beat. Our award winning Chef Alex Pineda brings culinary excellence to each dish and our service is comforting and professional. You may have seen Alex on the Food Network during his episode on Chopped which he won or on other shows featuring his food. Our Deck and Patio offer great views and atmosphere with Fresh Seafood right form the dock. Along with Steaks, Duck and plenty of Vegetarian and Gluten Free offerings you'll be sure to find what your looking for on our menu. The food here is delicious. It's kind of a small menu, but the items on it are varied and...delicious (yes it deserves 2 deliciouses!). But the main attraction here is the outdoor porch overlooking Marblehead Harbor. Wonderful sights, sounds, and magnificent scenery. Had a great time.

We're residents of Cambridge (33 years) and have dined at the Landing many times. We've always eaten outside on the patio, even during inclement weather, when the restaurant puts up protective clear plastic sheeting. The meals have consistently been very good -to- excellent, and the setting is terrific. We've always brought guests from out of town with us, and they've always greatly enjoyed the entire experience. This past week, we were blessed with perfect, sunny, warm weather and sat outside with our friends from Washington, DC.. the entire extended lunch was perfect. The wait staff are always wonderful--upbeat, helpful, and efficient. The person greeting us at the door also greets everyone cheerfully, setting the tone for the entire visit. Great time all around...I highly recommend it!

Had a 6pm reservation and upon arrival they offered to have us sit in the “back” room where kids sit. Would have been waiting until 6:30 to sit in main room. Not cool.

We have always had good meals at The Landing and Sunday was no exception. The food was delicious and plated nicely. I asked to be seated outside - which we were - but initially it was a little uncomfortable because of the angle of the sun. Our waitress said she was going to find another umbrella - which she did - and the situation improved tremendously. Our waitress and the busboys were excellent, which is so important in the overall dining experience. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious but took a bit long to come out. This was not the server's fault. He was excellent The kitchen was very busy and different staff brought out the meals. Despite the delay we all enjoyed our overall experience and highly recommend The Landing.

We went the night before the 4th of July. The noise level was so bad, even outdoors, that it was hard for the waiter to hear us and hard to talk to each other. I will blame that on the night we went rather than the restaurants itself. However, the food was not up to par. The two men ordered swordfish and while they both liked their dinners, one got a nice thick piece and the other got a thin slice-with both costing the same amount. It should have been embarrassing for a kitchen to serve two pople at the same table two such different potrions. The tuna tartate was one of the worst preprarations I have even had. Immersed in a pink suace of what origin I couldn't guess, it was the smallest pieces of chopped (almost minced) tuna I have ever been served in a tuna tartare preparation. The BLT salad was interesting with nice, thick bacon pieces, so no complaints there. The waiter didn't ask if we wanted dessert. Just brought the bill. Maybe they don't have dessert, but what restaurant doesn't? We were happy with ice cream we bought up the street. Not in a rush to go back even though the guys liked their swordfish.

Our waitress was efficient, patient, accommodating and helpful! The food was delish, especially loving the mussels. We started on the outside portion of the deck but were quickly moved into the inside once it began to rain. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Swordfish was mushy. Garlic bread looked delicious but wasn’t very tasty. Table for 7 Jerry-rigged with some uncomfortable chairs. Overall ok experience as was a family reunion so lots of laughs. Service was very good.

Hello, the deck is a nice spot for lunch but the Patriot Seafood truck idled for 45 minutes and was very loud. I understand they have to keep the refrigeration going but it was very loud. On top of that someone was using a shop vac on their boat just behind the deck which made a conversation almost impossible. Our server was terrific, the food was very good, and we enjoyed ourselves. We will return but if the seafood truck is there we will eat inside.

Our party of 8, ranging from 9 years old to 95 years old, all had a terrific time. The food was outstanding and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. And we loved looking out over the bustling harbor! We will definitely be back!
