Exceptional as always!
The ambiance is lovely and the service was great. The noise level is very low, and it is nice to sit in a busy restaurant with people on either side and yet be able to have an intimate conversation and not hear what everyone else is talking about.
Unfortunately, my husband ordered Rib Eye steak which was cut extremely thin and it was very sinewy. Our waiter offered a replacement and brought him a Filet Mignon. The Filet was delicious.
I did feel that we should have been offered a complimentary coffee, dessert, or something to compensate for the fact that my meal sat and chilled while waiting for the replacement meal.
Also, our reservation noted it was a birthday celebration, and it was never mentioned by the host nor the waiter.
Excellent meal, we will definitely go back! I loved the muscles and pasta with lamb.
The lighting was excellent, food was good but it could’ve use more of seasoning! I’m a strong flavor type of customer. I like my food to be bold and zesty. But the experience was great can not complain
Great food! Excellent service, not pushy and don’t rush you!
Everything is good. I like the wine selection. I can also have good food with good wine, or cocktail. I always suggest the pasta.
Service is the best
Had to wait over 30 minutes even with reservation. Could not get a drink while waiting. Seated 5 at a table intended for 4. Service fine once seated. Food delicious but dinner very costly.
Food was great, service was very slow, we were there for almost 3 hours
Restaurant was full but there seemed to be plenty of servers in the dining room
I think the hold up was in the kitchen but we didn’t even get waited on for drink orders for at least 15 minutes after being seated
Consistently outstanding— incredible food and service.
Everything was excellent— awesome food and wonderful service.
My wife and I love this restaurant. We travel from Southern N.H. to enjoy a very creative menu filled with all kinds of culinary adventures. All the dishes we have ever had there are creative in terms of the composition and presentation. The atmosphere is as equally impressive. We are sure to return when we feel the urge for a wonderful meal.
My family and I always go to L’Andana for our Birthdays and special occasions. We love everything about it. The service is great, and the food is amazing.
Overall food good - mashed potatoes were at best warm and waaay too salty.
Mostly Italian; beautifully prepared and presented, and some unique, dishes. For example I had beet salad, with a variety of small, colored beets, carefully placed on the plate with a delicate dressing around them. I had pasta with wild boar. Nice use of herbs and spices without being overpowering; not over-salted either. I like that you can get a half-portion (or appetizer-sized) of their pasta dishes, which I did and with the salad was plenty of food. I ate everything and was very full (saved room for dessert), which was chocolate lava cake with what seemed like salted vanilla ice cream,) was excellent. With 5 cocktails (there were 4 of us), and a bottle of wine, the total was $245/couple with tax & tip.
Lovely, superb, helpful, kind, very competent staff...both the wait staff and the managerial staff. Wonderful menu. Dinner was very special.
I was a regular at L'Andana for years (since they opened) but stopped going last year as the service primarily and food somewhat was in a downward spiral. I decided to give it another try and it was much better. what a pleasant surprise. The food is the selling point at this restaurant - great steaks and pasta. Friendly service, extensive wine list
We had a wonderful dinner for my husband's birthday. Great food and attentive service, a special night out.
I have been here about 20 times over the last several years. I've always been a fan of this place but it has taken a turn. It used to feel like a special evening going here but between the quality of the food and the service it has become quite average, however, the price still reflects that of a 5 star restaurant. It started off on the wrong foot when our server started shaking our vodka martinis (pretty aggressively); I didn't have the heart to tell her vodka martinis should not be shaken. The bread that was served wasn't fresh and they eliminated their Caesar salad from the menu which was disappointing and the vegetable options were not good at all. We ordered the peppers and each took a bite and moved on. I ordered the filet which was fair but the trevisano that came on the side was dripping in dressing and Gorgonzola. Our meal ended with the busser clearing our plates while I was still chewing and clearly hadn't finished. Disappointed.
We were celebrating our anniversary. It was our first (and not the last) visit to L'Andana. Easy place to find, not living in the Burlington area. The food was great. Both my wife and I had steak. She had the ribeye and I the sirloin. Ate every morsel. Andrea, our waitress was fantastic and very pleasant. She checked on us from time to time but also gave us our space and time. I would not hesitate to recommend this to others, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.
Everything was excellent. Wonderful service and delicious food.
Spectacular meal and excellent service. Apps, meals, and desert were all fantastic!
One of the overall best dining experiences we have had in a long time!
Wonderful experience! A little pricey but wonderful.
Got stuck at the worst table in the house. Service was subpar too. Had to ask a couple times for bread. Swordfish was decent but have noticed it keeps shrinking with every return trip. Can't go wrong with the pasta here. Would check elsewhere in Burlington next time. Was a little peeved that we got stuck at the table in the corner by the door. It's the same table we request when we go with our 2 yr old for a 5 pm early dinner. Think maybe they reserve that table for Open Table members during prime weekend nights.
Overall a very good restaurant. Pasta dishes are excellent (gnocchi and cavatelli). Salmon was very good, but would pass on Tuscan steak; not a good cut of meat despite it saying it was ribeye. Service was excellent.
Just absolutely delicious. Fresh, homemade pasta. The spaghetti with clams was so full of flavor and the spaghetti was cooked perfectly. The wine list is very impressive and easy to navigate. The meatball appetizer, what can I say, never take this off your menu!
Absolutely amazing! Food is delicious as always and our server Sean was fantastic! Can’t wait to be back.
Been here many times with excellent food, and the service is usually good, but there have been a few occasions when it was rather lackluster and unfortunately that was the case this time. Took awhile to get drinks, get orders placed, and both our appetizers were late and one was forgotten entirely until the meal arrived. No offer even for a free dessert or to take it of the bill. We were hungry and asked for bread from another staff person while we waited, but it wasn't quite what we were hoping for. The food was high quality as usual.
Food was as usual was GREAT
Very lovely restaurant
On eof my favorites as well as that of my guests
First time here. Food was amazing. Everything was truly delicious. Only disappointment of the evening was the service. For a restaurant at this price point, we expected more. It had to have been at least 15 minutes before our waiter even came over to us. The only person who came in contact with us was the person who brought water. We didn't know who our waitperson was, and he never even made eye contact with us. I understand if he was busy, but a simple "I'll be right with you" would have been nice. No small talk, recommendations, specials or anything when he did finally get to us. Could see other waitstaff interacting with their guests. That being said, we were very impressed with the food.
Excellent food and service. My wife and I celebrated our 14th marriage anniversary here. It was an ideal place for the private dinner.
L'Andana is my wife and myself favorite restaurant we enjoy the creative food menu and the great staff we had Edvaldo as our server outstanding , he help pick a nice wine. We will be back often.
The food was amazing and the waitress was very personable
Mostly good...some service and food issues but they stepped up and removed charges and made up with a free desert.
L’Andana is an excellent restaurant in all aspects: well managed, staff is extremely well trained, friendly, well appointed table, delicious food. We shared the crab filled tortellini (which we’ve had many times before) and it was better than ever — the pasta was light and the filling was plentiful and tasty. The filet was excellent and prepared as I requested. One of the marks of a well trained staff is the timing of removal of plates — when everyone at the table has finished with the appetizer course, then the plates are to be removed, and so on. The hostesses are polite, dressed well, friendly.
Service was excellent save for the valet who did not get the door for my wife either coming or going. Servers and buzzers very attentive and accommodating. Food was exceptional, and the ambiance was very, very nice
Love this place. It really made our occasion feel special. We ordered from the Tuscan Supper menu and the selections were fantastic and the portions were generous. I wouldn't hesitate to go here for our next event.
The service was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive, he didn’t rush us or hover over us.
The one negative was that my swordfish was a little over cooked.
This was the first time since having a baby (3.5 months) that my husband and I were able to have a date night. We chose landana for the menu and ambiance. While the service and atmosphere was lovely, we ordered the $70 aged steak and decided to go all out. The steak was over cooked, medium well vs medium rare which is a big difference. While they corrected the steak they didn’t offer any complimentary items such as a free dessert or cocktail. We have worked in the service industry for years and while we were not expecting or wanting anything free it’s the gesture that counts. While my husbands steak was being recooked my meal was cold waiting for him. I think management could have done a better job with customer service. Left a bad taste in our mouth and not sure if we would recommend.
