L'Andana Ratings and Reviews
Another amazing dinner. Food was top-notch as always, and James our server was attentive and knowledgeable, truly the best of the best! One of our favorite pastas had changed ever so slightly and James told us the chef could prepare it the old way, no problem and it didn't disappoint! Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks!
The food was excellent, service was good and I Was very pleased that they had gluten free dinner rolls. I feel the prices are a bit high for the amount of food received, especially the appetizers. But the quality of food served was delicious and I have no complaints. We had an enjoyable meal.
Our evening was very pleasant, wait staff courteous and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, answered our questions .
My husband orders the veal , but he stated it was fatty, he didn't finish but took a. Doggy bag.
I ordered the chicken with arugula and shaved Parmesan was light and delicious, I would order again.
Salmon with apple cider sauce and squash puree and carrots was delicious and elegantly plated. Others had steak which was hood too. Cheese fondue was a tasty appetizer. Portions are large enough so that you don't need to order a side dish. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
After a horrible experience in April we went back to use a gift certificate given to us by the manager for the previous time
After eating it a 1 star I can tell you last night was a 5 star performance. We appreciate the managers concern and will now go back again
The food was truly magnifico
I’ve eaten here many times and can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is consistently delicious, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is lovely. Parking is free. It’s pricey but if you’re looking for a special occasion, think L’Andana.
This is a high end restaurant so you expect high end service and delicious food. I ordered a Ribeye steak Medium Rare and it came out Medium Well. They sent another Steak out and it was Medium Well again. Very disappointing! The problem is the steak is too thin it was 1/2 inch so that cooks to fast. If you are going to Charge $43 for a steak you make sure it’s thick enough and comes out the way the customers wants it. This has never happened to me at the Capital Grill.
Had a wonderful Anniversary dinner with my husband! Hostess was very accommodating in terms of our table request! Both of us enjoyed a flavorful Filet Mignon with delicious whipped potatoes and grilled asparagus. Also enjoyed a well made Martini, as did my husband. The wine was a perfect pairing with our dinner as well. Love returning to L'Andanas! Never disappoints!!!
Ive been in the food and beverage business for almost 20 years and l'andana gave me the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. The double lamb chop. Everything was perfectly executed. Just flawless cooking and pristine ingredients. Mammano is a genius.
The room was quite nice in terms of an ambience and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the food was not up to the same standard. One of our party requested their steak medium to medium rare, another request of their steak medium in both cases the meat arrived medium well . While the service staff endeavored to correct the error, by the time the meat arrived the entire pretty was out of sync. In addition, the sauce for the meat overwhelmed the taste of the beef and was quite salty and thus became the focus. This was a shame as the beef was prime and should have been the centerpiece of the meal. While none of these errors was egregiously awful, given the restaurant’s reputation, and thus our expectations, we came away disappointed.
I asked for the skirt steak medium and it was burnt on both sides and raw (completely raw) in the middle. As for the vegetables with my steak...no mushrooms, it was some kind of potato that seemed pickled in something. Although the waiter was friendly and courteous, we didn't see him until my husband's meal was done and at that point, we just wanted to leave.
It is obvious people like it there, the parking lot was packed, however, not for us.
First time at this restaurant, and was very impressed with the ambience and service. The appetizers were delicious and fresh. The meals were delivered timely and hot with my wife having the lamb chops and myself the aged rib eyed steak. My wife said the chops were delicious, and I enjoyed my steak but felt it was not top notch and would refrain from this category in the future. The dessert was presented with a candle and Happy Anniversary written on both plates. I felt this is an excellent place for a romantic dinner and noticed several family and one business group also in attendance that night without taking anything away from the overall experience. Will definitely give this place another go!
As always, L'Andana's was terrific! The food is so good, and the wait staff is very attentive. The restaurant was quite busy the night we were there, including some sort of function in another room, so the service was a little slower than usual. Nonetheless, it was another wonderful experience. It is not a cheap meal, but still worth it for the food, service and ambiance!
This was our first time eating here and we were quite happy with our choice of meeting friends here. The food was excellent with a good number of dinner and appetizer options. I had the Tuscan Steak, which was excellent and my wife had the rick cornish game hen, which was excellent as well. Our friends also had meal that were very good. We Shared appetizers which were also well prepared and delicious. The service was attentive and the server was quite knowledgeable. Overall a very good dining experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out that lives in the area.
I hadn't been to L'Andana in a few years and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We stopped for a drink in the bar area before going to a our table. The bartender was very friendly and she made a wonderful martini. Just the way I like it.
The food was delicious. There were four of us and we all ordered a different entree. Everyone was very pleased. There was one minor complaint that the pasta in the pasta Bolognese was cooked too al dente, but it didn't affect the flavor of the sauce or the dining experience.
Desserts were fabulous, especially the rich panna cotta. We will be back for sure!
We're a younger couple and were definitely treated that way. The service from our main waiter was poor. We weren't told the specials and waited 30 min before she came back to take our order ( we weren't ready the first time she came by)...the bus boys were great however and made the dining experience much more enjoyable. Food was good, but not any better than a dining experience you could get down the road for $50 less. It was obvious who was there for business and these men were definitely treated much better than our table.
