Atmosphere was nice! Dim lighting and comfy seating. Filet Mignon, whipped potatoes & a side of mushrooms were all delicious.
Great food. Good service in a pleasant atmosphere. Can get noisy and crowded.
Noise level was very loud. Food portion was very small. Price was to expensive.I didn't like my seat close to the kitchen with high level of traffic while the restaurant was empty at 5:45PM the valet person was rude ,we both were heading out I was in front of him for some reason he pushed me I yelled a him excuse me sir would of be nice
Undercooked steak, sent back 3x. Waitress was condescending...made me prove “steak was cut in half to check for doneness.” Manager was just as bad. Awful experience, won’t be back!!
Excellent spot if you want to make that first impression memorable.
From the food, the service and the ambiance.
Perfect evening. Highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Food is ALWAYS SUPERB and the expertise and professionalism of staff are EXCELLENT. We recommend L’Andana to ALL family and friends for both the dining experience and special functions. Kudos to the ENTIRE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT!!!!
We came back because of the wood-grilled taste of the filet, which was awesome again. The grilled romaine that came with it was ehhh, and my wife's filet was overdone and a bit chewy. As someone who loves the Capital Grille, I measure every other expensive restaurant by that yardstick, and L'Andana comes up short. Having said that, the bread was awesome, and the bolognese was really, really good. The bread pudding was just ok, and at the cost, should have been amazing. Our previous experience there was the same... some great stuff, some mediocre stuff, but just not as good as it should be for a 5 star experience. Will I go there again? Not likely. But I don't necessarily regret going... it's complicated LOL!
L’Andana is reliably good for food, beverages and the staff is the very best!
Continues to be my favorite restaurant. Great food, good service in a very comfortable setting.
Very enjoyable anniversary celebration. Made note on booking of anniversary, but never mentioned by restaurant staff. Very expensive meal for good, not excellent food. Several attempts at serving us others’ food.
Forgot my side dish...disappointed with service.
Contemporary atmosphere. Repetitive rhythmic music...not dining soothing.
Entire staff was attentive. Muscles outstanding!
Lighting was a little too dark. Food quality was excellent, but oddly a tiny bit below expectations.
Staff was fantastic. Well coordinated, very helpful with the menu, and unobtrusive.
A successful night out.
Lovely birthday dinner with friends. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Great service and they brought over complimentary gelatos for our birthdays.
Arrive when restaurant opened @ 5 pm for 5.15 reservation seated at 5.30 very slow service food was ok very expensive will not return.
If it wasn't for the fabulous service by our waiter, Matt, my review probably wouldn't be so good. I'm surprised that such an upscale restaurant with so much competition around wasn't a bit better. However, it was extremely crowded in the bar area where we were and they were very short staffed that night. The bar area is small and narrow and not very comfortable. I prefer something more open and with more windows. Although it took a long time to get the food and drinks, we weren't in a rush and didn't mind waiting. The food was very good and so were the drinks but nothing out of this word that I'm dying to go back for. I think the only reason I would go back would be to have drinks with our wonderful waiter, Matt.
The food was great and our waitress was great. She definitely had bigger parties and didn’t seem to get much support from the staff as we feel she should have. We had mentioned our drinks to another member of the staff as she was tied up and the staff member approached a manager who proceeded to do nothing which was disappointing. However our waitress was very good and our food was great, hopefully the management staff is more attentive the next time we go.
Great food and atmosphere
Service definitely off!!!
My wife made a reservation for us for my Birthday because my fond memories of a previous visit years ago. We were excited for the evening expecting the same great experience as before. Unfortunately we were very disappointed on all points. The service was mediocre and the food was sub-par by all standards. Both of our main entrees lacked any flavor and our side of Exotic mushrooms was anything but exotic. They completely forgot about my appetizer and brought it out after the main courses were delivered. For the high prices this place charges they should be able to add some garlic and salt and pepper to their dishes. Needless to say we will not be spending another meal at L'Andanas again.
We had to send out food back to kitchen it wasn't cooked properly. We eat here often they must have had a bad night
We always have a great experience at L'Andana! We were there on Friday night and even though the place was full, the service was excellent and the food was nothing short of spectacular! A wonderful experience at every level!
This was a real delight. We’ve been here before and really appreciate the relatively quiet ambiance, where you can actually carry on a conversation without shouting. Classy restaurant, nicely appointed; even the bar area TVs are on close-captioning so they do not interfere with your meal. Wednesday nights we have discovered a real treat - a live guitar player with a great repertoire that really adds something special to the evening; a total delight! The music is not overwhelming at all, and he is really good.
Always enjoy my experience here. The food and service is very good.
Both the service and the noise level were excellent as the restaurant was not super crowded. The wine list and menu options provided many options for fussy palates. Our server was knowledgeable and very personable but knew when to excuse herself. The pre-dinner bread was amazing. It was rich so I didn't need to dip in oil at all. The pasta was clearly very fresh and delicate with all flavors within the dish blending wonderfully - no one flavor over powered. And the chocolate dessert did not disappoint even with very high expectations.
Excellent experience. Great food, classy decor, wonderful service.
We enjoyed our experience at LAndana for a special birthday. Good service, although the wait staff could have been more efficient. Lots of bustling around and not enough attentiveness, even though it was a quiet Monday night. The food was excellent. The music was intrusive at times and the lighting was too dim. We needed flashlights to read the menu. Still, I’d recommend it for the excellent food.
Food was exceptional. Service was sub-par so it made our overall experience not what we expected.
The bar staff and our waitress was great. However she was very, very busy. Could use more wait staff.
L’Andana used to be just for special occasions we now go almost weekly. Service is excellent as William and Massi set a great example. Excellent bar and service and food always top notch. Brittany has been our server several times and her knowledge of the menu and wines is very impressive.
Service was affable and attentive, ambiance was warm and comforting, and the food was fantastic. Wine list was also particularly good
L'Andana is a superlative restaurant. The menu is exciting - with the variety of selections and the manner of of presentation that really stimulates the appetite. What was a special treat, in addition, was a server who walked us knowledgeably through the offerings, with obvious pride in the quality of the cuisine. All six members of our party expressed a desire to return to the restaurant, with the intention of ordering many of those tantalizing dishes we had to forego on our first visit.
We were early for our reservation, and decide to have a cocktail at the bar. Drinks were excellent, love when you get a martini that is so cold there are little bits of ice floating on top. We went to our table, when the other couple arrived, very comfortable and spaced enough away from other diners. Our server Brittany was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. We had a guest with Celiac and she was very helpful in making gluten free suggestions. The support wait staff was very hard working, seemed as though they may be a bit new, this is not a criticism at all. I just saw a few times where you could see they were worried about not having done something "exactly" right...now I'm sure some guests are more difficult, but we all felt they did a great job, and will only get better. The Bolognese was excellent, and the Crema Amazing!!! Cannot wait to return, such a great place to just treat yourself
I took my husband for his birthday (first time at L’Andana). Off the bat, the staff were welcoming and friendly. We sat at a booth, beautiful atmosphere. We ordered a bottle of Chianti, the fonduta to start- which was amazing, thick cut bread, we ate it all; two pasta dishes- one white, one red; and a filet- which was tender and cooked perfectly: to end the night we had espresso and the Cioccolato for dessert- warm chocolate molten cake with vanilla gelato and a “Happy Birthday” written on the plate! The staff gave us recommendations and checked on us frequently. Overall a great experience, we will be back!
Always a 5 star experience & food. I took my friends from Connecticut who have dined at the best restaurants & are foodies. They were blown away. The service, the food, I don't know another restaurant that has such a high level of both.
Thought it was over priced for food.
We have always loved being able to stop here on the way home, or still get a yummy dinner a bit on the later side at the bar. They have a fabulous bar staff, Kevin(or Michael) & Emma are often there, so pleasant and good at their craft! And there's always a great wine by the glass to go with whatever we order. We especially love doing apps for the variety. And, a salad with an app is plentiful. I often crave the octopus. We've also enjoyed the dining room with large groups! Even our less adventurous friends love it here.
The service was top notch. The food was absolutely delectable. The delightful ambiance made for a wonderful evening out with family and friends.
food was fabulous! Service outstanding! Massi did a wonderful job choosing a awesome bottle of wine! we'll definitely be back!
Service and food outstanding. Extremely attentive to you and details.
We were dining out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival, the valet attendant was waiting for us and assisted my wife out of our vehicle. The hostess warmly greeted us and wished my wife a happy birthday. We were promptly seated at our favorite table. Bobby Dee was our server and was awesome. Everything from service through our meal was excellent. As we were leaving, the valet attendant greeted us and had our warm vehicle waiting for us.
Thank you for a wonderful birthday evening.
We've been to L'andana several times, but on this occasion it was a completed disappointment.
We were seated on time, our waiter came over right away and asked if we wanted anything from the bar. We asked for a few more minutes. He came back nearly 15 minutes later. In fact, one of the other waitresses asked if we had someone waiting on us.
Drink order went in, didn't arrive for at least another 10 minutes.
Put our dinner order in, dinners came out about 20 minutes later, mind you, our waiter was
nowhere to be found as our appetizer and dinners were brought out by assistants.
Once dinner was put down, the waiter came over and asked how everything was, says to us it looks good, and left. One of the entree's, a pasta dish was severely overcooked, it was falling apart and was pure dough.
Again, our waiter was nowhere to be found. We then flagged down an assistant and relayed the problem.
She took the plate back, and then brought out a new dish, but it was an appetizer portion, not the full meal.
Finally the manager came over and apologized, and ended up taking the full dinner off of the bill.
One other thing that was discouraging, when I made the reservation, I noted that we were celebrating a birthday. This was completely overlooked by the staff.
As stated we've been to L'andana several times, but this was so disappointing on so many levels, I find it hard to say that we'll be back
