The food is excellent. However we went on Easter day when there were limited choices.
My family just enjoyed the most delicious Easter Sunday dinner. The staff was gracious and service superb. This is my next choice to host a business dinner.
Wonderful restaurant! Service and food are exceptional. It is a bit pricey but the portions are a good size and the quality of the food is outstanding. Highly recommend!! Great place for a family event or date night.
Very comfortable and excellent service. All the dishes were fantastic
we frequent this restaurant often, the Food is the best around and always consistant. our server on Saturday night was very unattentive and would leave dirty dishes as well as menus at the table. it took him 20 min to even acknowledge the table.
The server was very knowledgable and helpful. The food was excellent. Food allergies were accommodated without sacrificing the presentation, composition or flavor. Great wine list. Overall, this is a fabulous dining experience.
My favorite steak anywhere around Boston - Great place.
This restaurant group knows how to make your dining experience a memorable one.
A great eating experience.
Michael was a great server. Food was delicious. Nice ambiance.
It was a flawless meal. There wasn't a single aspect, whether it was the main dish, side dish, appetizer, salad, that wasn't excellent.
L'Andana is a special place and for the past several years it has been our 'go to' spot for special celebrations like Confirmations and wedding anniversaries.
The food never disappoints and the Pana Cotta is always scrumptious.
Service is always impeccable and this is indeed a high end restaurant experience.
The pricing will reflect that and as long as you are prepared, there will be no surprises.
Great food. We had several pasta dishes and they were spot on. Also had a wonderful 1/2 bottle of a barolo. Waiter was excellent. Very knowledgeable and had the right level of attentiveness. Definitely will be back.
It's our favorite place for a reason. Last minute Sunday night date plans without any kids. Perfect evening.
Celebrating a birthday. Great evening. Attentive service.
A wonderful place to celebrate a special event. Thank you again for making it so special.
My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at L’Andanna in April. The service was impeccable. We were not rushed and we were able to enjoy a thoroughly wonderful meal with the right amount of attention from the staff. The atmosphere was modern and comfortable. We will definitely return in the future.
My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The food was wonderful and the service was great. My husband ordered the iceberg salad and veal chop. I had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. I held off on appetizers and pasta so I would have room for the panna cotta. As I hoped, based on reviews, it was amazing! The restaurant was bigger and a bit noisier than I expected but that didn't take away from the overall dining experience. It was the perfect place for our special occasion.
As usual L'andana did not disappoint. Mussels and lobster gnocchi were great!
I usually have a great meal. But last night It seemed like an off night for food and service. I also called because it was my boyfriends bday. The waitress confused it and while I was in the ladies room told him dessert was on its way... thinking it was my birthday.
Food is always great. Pasta dishes are the vest
It pains me to write a bad review but I must be as honest. I have been here a many times for birthdays, welcoming out of town guests, and for the good food itself. But each time the overall experience kept declining. This last time would be my last time here. I came here for my birthday with my wife and a few friends. The food when it finally came was average at best and the service was extremely slow. It was a 7:30 Sunday night and the place was not busy at all so I don't understand why we sat at the table for 30 minutes with no waiter in sight in the beginning. It was downhill from there. We all wanted the filet mignon and they ran out so we all ordered the bone-in filet. The waiter came back later and said there was on one left. So one got the others got pasta that didn't look appetizing at all. My first experience here 4 years ago was excellent and I might have written a great review on it somewhere. So I'm sad to write this today. Hope things can turn but there's just too many great restaurants in the area to fall short.
Server was amazing. Food is always consistently good.
Even though me and the small group of four had made a reservation weeks earlier, we initially were told on our arrival that there had been an overbooking of reservations, and that we'd have to sit in the bar area for our meal, or wait more than an hour for a table.
At that moment, I was not very happy, but fortunately a manager stepped in, and found a solution where my wife and I could introduce the fabulous restaurant to friends by sitting in the dining room just a few minutes later.
Once we were all sitting, the amazing service that my wife and I have become accustomed to at L'Andana was evident.
We certainly love eating at L'Andana.
For our meals, my wife and I shared a delicious appetizer of parmigiano-reggiano meatballs, and I had the fabulous entree of malfadine, which is a combination of pasta and mushrooms in a delicious sauce. For dessert, we shared a fabulous semi-sweet chocolate mousse, and for drinks, they served a fabulous espresso martini to start my meal, and my wife and I each had a glass of Piccini chianti, which she had ordered the last time we ate there, and loved. In the end, L'Andana certainly made things right, which I am very gracious for, after that initial concern. I know that my friends enjoyed their time as well, with a comments such as the gnocchi that they had being the best they ever had, and that they should have ordered the full portion, so I'd say it was a win all the way around by the end of the night. Thanks, L'Andana.
Portions were small and the server was inexperienced. Food was tasty though!
We have had dinner at L'Andana a number of times, and the food and service is always excellent. The meals are always cooked right, with imaginative accompaniments. I am always amazed how well the Columbus Group can consistently maintain such a high quality level of food and service across all their restaurants. Definitely at the top of our list!
Thank you for your comments! It is always nice to hear that the effort that we put in to create an excellent experience is appreciated, and we hope to see you again soon!
Excellent food and service!!
Nice experience. Food was good but not exceptional. Service was great
Long-time customer. Historically go 3 or 4 times per year, for the high-end feel of the restaurant. Don’t mind paying for a great meal/service. VERY disappointed. Special occasion. Was looking to converse over a fine dinner. Four person party. Tuesday night. Restaurant wasn’t that busy. We could not even carry on a SHORT conversation. Frequently interrupted by the wait - staff. It’s nice to be tended to, but there is a balance. All four dinners are seasoned diners. Know and understand the tempo of a meal; between drinks, apps, dinner, and dessert. It was frustrating. We would have to stop the conversation midair due to wait- staff at the table. I honestly think that because the restaurant wasn’t too busy, more wait - staff were available than were needed. Our reservation was for 5:54 pm. The place was between half and three - quarters full. We finished up about 8:15 pm. There did not appear to be a second seating. Did not think diners were waiting for our table. There was no sense that we were being moved along. That was not the issue. The wait - staff repeatedly converging on our table was the issue. And; as season diners, if we were told that they were training wait - staff that evening, we would have understood and been sympathetic with no issue. No staff mentioned training.
I look forward to the Bolognese every time I go. It is a staple there. Was disappointed. WAY too much salt in the dish. Noticed it that night, but it wasn’t until the next day - having the leftovers, that I really tasted the salt. The dish has always held its own. Does not need salt for taste, or to mask a great meat - filled dish.
The food was excellent. I had salmon (well done) which was prepared as I ordered. We ate at the bar. It was nice and the wait staff was fine. My friend and I both noticed that our glasses of wine were very small. For the price of a glass of wine, 3-4 oz is a very small pour!
My friend & I were celebrating our milestone birthdays, so we were looking for something special. L'Andana did not disappoint. We shared the spinach salad & each ordered the primi-size pasta with mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious. In addition, our waitress was sweet, attentive & accommodating. We will be back for more special occasions & will recommend L'Andana to friends & family.
To start we asked to sit at another table. There were 2 corner tables open but were told they were for parties of 3. An hour later neither table was occupied and then they sat a 2 top of people they knew. Very rude! The waiter was overwhelmed and missing for long periods of time. My husbands veal chop was very fatty and not very good quality. My swordfish was paper thin and very dry accompanied by large chunks of onion and peppers. Not very appealing. We have dined here many times and at their sister restaurants Sorelina and Mistral. L’andana can not compete with either. We will not be returning.
Got there a just after 5. Had to wait 10 minutes while they finished a staff meeting which didn't leave a good first impression. After being seated it was 5:30 before drinks and bread arrived. Food was lacking. $40 sirloin was 1/3 fat. Won't return.
Awesome great night!
Service was excellent and so was the ambiance. Our appetizers of fried calamari and a muscle soup were excellent. However the main courses were disappointing. The sirloin was advertised as prime but it was barely choice. The Pasta Bolognese was pedestrian. My wife's apple crostini was excellent. Overall, an average dining experience. We dined here several times before and believe the food was far better.
For a restaurant outside of Boston, you cannot bear the food quality and service. My steak was excellent, as we're the appetizers (tuna and calamari) that we shared
The food was delicious. The veal chop I ordered was delicious. However I asked if I could substitute a vegetable for the polenta. I received my meal with the polenta and no broccoli and got mushrooms instead. I ate it because I was starving at this point. My food could of been a bit warmer.
The restaurant is very pretty and not too noisy. I appreciated that because many restaurants on Saturday night can be uncomfortably noisy.
My problem was with the service. Although we had a reservation we had to wait 15 to twenty minutes to be seated. Other parties came in and were seated right away. I found that very annoying.
It took a long time for a server to come over and a long time for the food to come out The server was very pleasant and it wasn’t her fault. We wondered if there is a lack of organization in the kitchen.
The other issue I had with this restaurant was that it was expensive. I knew that before I made the reservation. However, a salad for 18 dollars that we split between the two of us was the size of my palm. That is a rip off .
Our waiter was great. He ran outside in the cold with my husband’s credit card when he left without it. Beet salad was good but had too much vinegar. Bolognese would have been delicious but for too much salt. Going early made it possible to have a quiet table for most of the meal.
The food and ambience was great, the rib eye and the tuscan stake were amazing. The service was terrible. We waited 28 minutes for the server to bring us water despite mutilple requests! An additional 15min to take our order. We received the first plate 60 min after we arrived and had to almost beg for the desert menu, we left the restaurant 2:30h after we arrive, we were waiting on the server almost the entire time
The restaurant has a great reputation from a few years ago, but does not love up to it anymore. Steak not good, appetizers ok(I have had much h better tuna tartare at steak places). Salads are average.
