Dinner was delicious, as were the cocktails and dessert. The food was on par with any top tier restaurant in Boston. Service was a tad slow, but that is to be expected in this summer of Covid as every restaurant is coping with staffing shortages. That said, we had a wonderful experience for our celebration dinner (party of 4).
Food, service, ambiance - everything was outstanding. I went with two friends who’ve never been and they can’t wait to come back.
Pasta dish was totally lacking - sauce was watery. Typically the food is good, not sure what is going on.
Unfortunately we had a very bad and strange experience. While our food was very good, our waitress unfortunately was the worst I’ve had and it was very strange, as all other members of the staff (hostesses, people clearing plates and bringing food), were wonderful.
She was very aloof and not friendly from the start. Everything took forever. It took a long time for her to actually take our order and she never checked in on us or came back to ask how things were or if we needed anything else. Also, 3 out of 4 of our orders came out incorrectly, with missing items and things not ordered. It was all very strange. Manager came out to apologize, but it was unfortunately a very bad experience because of all the things that went wrong with the very expensive dinner. The waitress truly seemed mad to be working and unfortunately took it out on us. Very disappointing, as we wanted to love it.
Hadn’t been to Landana since pandemic and it didn’t disappoint. The service was spectacular as was the food. Not rushed in any way.
Great place to celebrate an anniversary dinner!
The back patio was very pleasant on a warm evening and the food was very good. Just be sure to be done eating before the mosquitos come out. We asked to have our leftovers packed up and they forgot to include the potatoes.
Greg the bartender was professional & friendly!! Made us tasty cocktails!!
Our waitress for dining was Cameron, she was very attentive, sweet & excellent service!!
Wonderful atmosphere & dinner
We love everything about this restaurant, delicious food, great service, beautiful ambiance, will definitely come back soon.
Wonderful experience. Our server was top notch.
A relaxed oasis in the suburbs for excellent food and a comfortable atmosphere.
Delightfully quiet, personable service, outstanding brocollini!
What a memorable dinner for my family. Everything was tasty and the staff (including our wonderful server Alexis) was fantastic. Thank you
had to move to an uber small table in the bar to get $1 oysters, but the food and service in the bar was very good.
Was a very memorable evening. Service was perfect, food was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Five stars
Great food and service as always! Special shout out to Vanessa who organized my graduation party a few years ago and she still remembered; came right over and greeted us, and when she found out it was my birthday she sent complimentary dessert! This is the epitome of superb customer service and what keeps us return over and over again.
Food very good. Tuscan steak, Wagyu Bavette and broccolini were especially good and perfectly cooked. Service was fairly attentive, but very, very slow once we were done with our main meal. An initial plan to order dessert was scrapped when no one came by for 20 minutes. Overall, a lovely evening.
Service was great! Came in for the lobster gnocchi but it’s no longer on menu. That’s ok the skungilli pasta was awesome. Very flavorful and a good amount of lobster.
Great food and service as usual. Michelle the assistant GM was particularly welcoming and accommodating. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
This was my first trip to L'Andana, and will likely be my last.
I understand the restaurants are understaffed and may be slower service, however, we were seated at 7:30 pm and did not get our check until after 10pm! We ordered drinks, and it took a very long time. I asked for a straw for mine, it was sangria so I preferred not to wear it as it was a very full glass, and the waitress looked at me like she had never had a request for a straw before! Meanwhile, my husbands had come with one. It was just odd.
Her entire demeanor was not condescending but almost kindergarten teacher attempting waitressing. She looked at us like we needed to guide her to her next steps. There was zero confidence in anything. There was a solid 30 mins between when our apps came and when she came back to take our dinner order. When we placed the order for apps she seemed confused as to why we weren't placing the entire order. Now I guess we know why we should have!
I got an $18 half size of pasta and it should have been maybe $9.50. My husband got the full size at $32 (or $34) and it was barely any larger than my portion.
The only positive really was the bus boy who was helping out the waitress and kind of keeping her on track.
It was a very awkward experience. I will say we only saw one, maybe 2 waitresses, so it's possible she was new, we don't know. If so then she needs to have a trainee tag or something, because it was just painful!
We were not asking for anything major either. Our orders were simple, nothing high maintenance. Sadly, it was just bad.
Our final bill was around $350, over $400 with tip! This meal we had was maybe worth $99 for all 4 meals. It was very disappointing. There is no way to excuse the food or the waitressing last night I'm afraid.
We had a wonderful experience dining at Landana Grill. The service, food, attention to detail, everything was impeccable. Chef Eduardo and his team created an outstanding meal for us, that adhered to our dietary needs. We cannot say enough good things about our experience!
Food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.
I have not been to L'Andana for several years and now regret it. It is so worth the ride. Great service, great wine list and exceptional food. If it were in downtown Boston it would still be among the best.
We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience under their tent. Although the ambience was not as nice as it would have been inside, we're not ready for indoor dining. They made it feel special with an outdoor rug of some sort and linen tablecloths, and one side of the tent had a side blocking the view of the parking lot. The cocktail was amazing. The service was excellent. And the food (appetizers down to dessert) all felt extra special. The only two negatives were our steaks were overcooked based on how we ordered them. They were still delicious and it didn't take away from us enjoying them. But we did give that feedback to our server so she was aware. We also didn't realize until we got the bill that we had paid for the water they served us ($10/bottle, 2 bottles for a tab3of 4). None of us heard her explain that there was a charge. It was a special meal which we knew would be expensive, but didn't expect to pay $20 for water! Overall, I would highly recommend for a special occasion.
Food was fantastic, but expected for price. Service was good. Great venue and friendly staff. Recognized our Anniversary with dessert, but charged us for it.
Great service by Michael. Beautiful restaurant. Swordfish was on the thin side but good other than that was great!
Always a great experience!
Excellent service and the cod was beyond amazing. The experience is great and highly recommend!
The food was absolutely incredible. What a hidden gem in Burlington! We found out about Landana through an episode of Chronicle. We did the prix fix menu and every course was delicious. We were dressed too casually, though. This restaurant is definitely for formal occasions.
No words worth every penny!
Not a bad option for MetroWest dining. Food was tasty, service friendly, they let us take our time to have a leisurely dinner
Food was incredible. A lot of open space. Atmosphere was lovely. Service was very good.
We had a great time. We had planned to eat outside, but asked to eat inside as it was very warm outside. Even though they were very busy they accommodated us with ease at a very nice table. The food was outstanding and the service was very good.
L'Andana is a lovely spot, quiet and peaceful. Very good, well prepared food and interesting menu. Service was attentive, but not over the top. Definitely a "repeat" for us!
My fiancé and I chose L’Andana for our first restaurant dining experience since the beginning of the pandemic, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Each dish was perfectly prepared, ambiance was exquisite, the server was attentive and personable, and the chef was able to expertly accommodate my fiancé’s various dietary restrictions. Thank you, L’Andana, for helping us make our post-vaccination reentry into society so thoroughly enjoyable!
We dined here several years ago. We were very pleased at that time. The limited menu now has hurt them a lot. We had many choices before. It is expensive in our eyes and most people could only afford it on a special occasion as we did . It is too bad . They were busy so that was good for them . Plus a small amount of a side should come with the meal and not be extra.
Excellent service, good food, overpriced.
This is the perfect place to be transported somewhere else. Each bite is delicious. The service is phenomenal. They’re tending to your needs before you even think to ask. One of my favorite places in MA.
