First time to L'Andana - excellent food and service. Steak was cooked to perfection and sides were very good as well. Friend had butternut squash tortellini and they were very good - excellent flavor. Dessert was apple cider donuts with vanilla ice cream - outstanding!
Staff was very courteous - from valet to hostess to wait and bus staff.
It was perfect in every way!!!!
Food. Wine. Service.
We were also fortunate to see our good friend & former GM Hoshang Dadrass!!!
It made our evening even more special!!!
a special treat - exceptionally low noise level - intimate areas - great food - menu could be more varied and changed more often? selections fairly limited.
Good steaks, but not too many Italian faves. A little pricey for a suburban Italian restaurant.
We had a wonderful meal and are planning our daughter wedding celebration there.
The portions were tiny but really wasn’t the issue. The pasta was grossly undercooked which made it inedible. The bolognese sauce has a displeasing flavor. I have not had a bad meal out in years and this was the first one. I can only warn potential diners to select a different restaurant.
Excellent!! Delicious food and terrific service!
Service was terrible. We arrived for our 8pm reservation and checked in with hostess. They told us there was about a 10 min wait so we went to the bar. It took 10 minutes for the bar tender to acknowledge that we were sitting there and took our drink orders. A few min later came back with my husbands drink but had forgotten what I had ordered. I told them again and they brought my drink. Twenty min after waiting at the bar we checked back in with hostess to get an update on our table. They told my husband they had forgotten or misplaced the information that we were waiting and we would get the next table. After we finally got seated no one came to our table for at least 15 min. When the waiter came we ordered everything including sparkling water. Our appetizers came before we got our water and when they came we asked again for water. The waiter came back over and said the bar "ran out" of sparkling water and that they had to go in the back of the restaurant to get more. There was no apology from our waiter for us waiting for 15 min before he initially came over or an apology that we waited a really long time for our water. The food was good but service very disappointing. When you spend that much on a meal you expect superior service. I love Sorrelina and Mistral but Landana was very disappointing. Won't ever go there again.
We were disappointed in our service at the bar and at our table. We waited quite a long time to get a waiter over to take our order and then we lost him for awhile too. The service was so bad that a manager noticed and comp'd our drinks, which was very nice. When we went to our table, we had a similar experience with our waitress. In fairness to our waitress, I think she was handling too many tables in the back room and wasn't as attentive as we had hoped. We will give it another try and hopefully have a better experience. It was an anniversary dinner and our first time dining out there, so it was unfortunate. I think it was just not a good night for us with the service overall.
My gnocchi was undercooked to the point that it was still sticky. I'm pregnant so this is very dangerous. They did re-do the dish with a different kind of pasta but as an Italian restaurant undercooking pasta should never happen
Splendid experience once again!
Dinner was very good. Table service was outstanding. Had a great time.
A little pricey but worth every penny, the staff very polite, the food was excellent
Great meal! Great service! Unfortunately was seated next to a 4 month old.
Never a disappointment! I have been Dining at L’andanas since it first opened and have never hade a bad dinner. The food, service and ambiance is impeccable. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you love food.
L'Andana always provides excellent meals - for anniversaries and special occasions, this is our favorite place to go. It is also a great place to grab dinner while sitting at the bar or an after hours work meeting. There is so much to recommend and very little to criticize. I highly recommend L'Andana.
One Salmon was very good.
Couple both having the Waygu steak said it was mediocre, nothing special.
My Prime Sirloin requested medium rare/sauce and butter on the side, came out well done and slathered in sauce and butter. Returned it to kitchen for replacement and that steak was medium to well done. Sent that one back and the third one, while cooked medium rare, was too tough to bother eating.
While maitre d' removed the steak from our tab (rightfully so), it sure spoiled the evening.
L'andana has long been our "go to" for reliably good atmosphere/service and food; unfortunately no more.
Excellent service, food and ambiance! Went there for our wedding anniversary and they took great care of us.
Great food and service and the staff always goes the extra mile for our anniversary dinner
I dined here alone, the service was impeccable and the ambience was great for a relaxing dinner. But sadly was let down by the food after reading raving reviews about the place. I ordered the four cheese fonduta and lobster gnocchi as appetizers, the wagyu bavette for the main course and finally panna cotta di caramello for dessert along with a cup of cappuccino. Maybe it was the hype over the food or maybe the food really wasn't on par that day, but i was thoroughly disappointed. The four cheese fonduta was good but nothing special. The lobster gnocchi had chunks of lobster which where hard to cut and ended up eating it whole only to find it over cooked and rubbery. The sauce, gnocchi and the lobster felt like different components on the plate with no cohesion. The wagyu bavette was ordered medium rare and at one point it was so chewy that I could not swallow it for a good 4 minutes. The wagyu came with a simple baked potato which at that point was the only delicious thing I had eaten. The wagyu also had a lettuce side which made no sense on the plate again or imparted any flavor profile to the dish. The final panna cotta was really delicious but the caramel on top was extremely sweet and overpowering. But the panna cotta by itself was the star of the night and was very delicious. The cappuccino was nice ending to the meal, bitter and frothy to cut through the cloying sweetness of the dessert. Overall the evening was fair, the service terrific and the food overcooked. Maybe my expectation were too high in the first place but the dishes felt all over the place. I will give it another try though to see if it was a one off experience.
Very good service and wine list. Well prepared food. Nice ambiance.
We made reservations for 8:30pm and kitchen was closing at 9:30pm. The staff was excellent on letting us know and also bringing out our appetizer, main course and dessert at a timely manner. We did not feel rushed, food was excellent and the pear Martini was amazing. My significant other enjoyed his birthday dinner and so did our friends. Can't wait to go back.
Another wonderful dinner experience!!! We were there for our 35th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately the deuce sitting next to us were very loud and annoying but we made the best of it. Andrea was excellent!! Food was exceptional as usual. Can’t wait to return!!!
The service and food were excellent. I thought the price of the appetizers were somewhat high. First time I paid $19 for a plain Caesar Salad. Aside from that, excellent restaurant and I would recommend it for the special occasion.
Food was terrific but a bit pricey for what it is. Atmosphere was ok for Burlington area. The service, however, was outstanding! Highly recommend for a special occasion.
Incredible service and food was well above our expectations
We love dining at this restaurant - we had a wonderful evening - food excellent as well as service
We have been going to L'Andana since it opened 10 years ago. We loved it then we love it now! Great food done with care and the way you want it. Exceptional service, great wine and cocktail list, and a lovely atmosphere. Four of us celebrated a birthday. We had a variety of dishes, one salad, one appetizer 3 different pastas, a veal chop and a Chicken Milanese. Each done as it should be, thesis included, exotic mushrooms, marinated heirloom tomatoes, and corn done in an usual way. We had 4 differing wines 2 whites, one rose , one red and a cocktail. Again a great wine/drink list. All topped off by superb service.
Landanas never disappoints, food was delicious, service was excellent. Our favorite restaurant for a special occasion.
We have eaten here often, ourselves, friends, and family. We have never been disappointed. For example, tortellini were thin and tender; panna cotta — every time!
We had a great waitress named Christina. She was very pleasant and gave us the right amount of attention. The food was awesome. We started with Bolognese appetizer and both of us got the Cornish Hen. It had such delicious flavor to it, we both ate everything on our plate. The chocolate lava cake was a great dessert to finish with. We will go back again for a special occasion. The price is high but very nice.
We went for our 44th anniversary, our 1st time at this restaurant. The service was excellent and everything from the martinis to the apps and dinner were excellent. We ordered 1/dozen oysters and the charcuterie. Plenty. Of the single charcuterie to share for two. We then ordered the bolognese entree and the filet, both were excellent? We were celebrating our anniversary so we unlike us, decided to share athe thanchocolate molten cake for dessert. So...good
We retired to the lounge and ordered espresso martinis....excellent!
thank yo for making our anniversary dinner so special!
Excellent food, we had the ceasar salad, my husband had the sirloin steak (cooked perfectly). I had the spaghetti special, they make the spaghetti there, it had an andouille butter sauce and had basil and tomatoes from their garden, delicious! We finished with the molten lava cake, which was great also! Beautiful ambiance, comfortable seats, we had a great experience there.
We went with a group of friends and family for my husbands birthday. Food and wine were fabulous! The service was amazing!
Wonderful Tuscan steak. However one was cooked perfectly rare as ordered, while mine was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. Still fantastic.
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, well worth a drive.
Food was great so been to this restaurant 2 times in the same week.
Ambiance was great!, food delicious we met some nice patrons and we also had the same waitress...she was great! Loves the chilled tomato soup, my salmon and chocolate decadent desert!
Extremely authentic cuisine and service was above and beyond. For Primi dishes we ordered the meatballs and the gnocchi w/ lobster, highly recommend both so much so we used our bread to soak up the remaining sauce. For the entree we ordered the crisp chicken Milanese and the prime rib eye. Again very authentic dish and steak was cooked to perfection (med rare).
We will be back and would highly recommend for a date night or out with the family.
The food was very good — steak and salmon — and the service. All was good except we didnt like the lack of open free parking at a restaurant in the suburbs. It seemed the valet parking was forced with no obvious alternative.
I may not recommend this restaurant in comparison to nearby Capital Grill, which features same quality food, but penty of open-space parking or valet.
I must admit the food (small portions) and the service were excellent. We went restaurant week for dinner with another couple that were satisfied with our choice. If the prices of drinks were more reasonable we would return more often. This was our third visit to L'Andana in 5 yrs. The price of cocktails and the wine are overpriced compared to other restaurants in the Burlington/ North Shore area. Still worth another try,but make sure to order more food and less drinks.
